Kävelyetäisyydellä oli kaikki toivomamme kohteet - Metroasemaa myöten. Taksi maksoi < 10 €, jos tarvitsimme sitä. Hyvin nukuimme vaikka huone olikin kadun puolelle ja ekassa kerroksessa.

Pieni hotelli sijaitsee Brunatessa aivan funikulaarin vieressä eli jännittävän köysiratajunamatkan päässä Comosta. Söpö kylä, mutta ei juuri palveluja muutamaa ravintolaa/hotellia lukuunottamatta. Hyvät ulkoilumaastot ja yhteys Comon kaupunkiin. Vaikutti perheyritykseltä tms. jossa ainoastaan yksi työntekijä puhui englantia. Huone modernisti sisustettu ja siisti. Hotellin hintaan ei ainakaan meille kuulunutkaan aamupala, josta sitten maksoimme erikseen 7e/hlö, mutta ihan maittava oli! Söimme myös illallisen yhtenä iltana: ruokalistaa ei ollut, ensin kysyttiin mitä haluaisimme syödä ja sitten kerrottiin mitä oli - ja vaihtoehtoja oli aikalailla tasan yksi. Hyvää ja perinteistä italialaista ruokaa kuitenkin oli ja ilmeisesti joka päivä vähän eri valikoima:) Perushyvä hotelli, mutta jos Comon keskustassa enemmän haluaa seikkailla, voi sijainti alkaa vähän rassaamaan.

Yövyimme vain yhden yön hotellissa. Palvelua sai hyvin englanniksi, huone oli ok: hieman vanha ja nuhjuinen, mutta siisti. Aamiainen maittava&runsas, myös ruokakauppa aivan vieressä! Lyhyt matka kävellä rautatieasemalta ja keskustaan kävellessä paljon ravintoloita matkan varrella, eli aika passeli sijainti ainakin näin lyhyelle vierailulle.
Lisähenkilöistä saatetaan periä maksu, joka saattaa vaihdella hotellikohtaisesti.
Sisäänkirjautumisen yhteydessä vaaditaan virallinen kuvallinen henkilöllisyystodistus ja luottokortti mahdollisten lisämaksujen takia.
Erityisvaatimusten saatavuus varmistetaan sisäänkirjautumisen yhteydessä ja niistä saatetaan periä lisämaksuja. Erityisvaatimusten täyttymistä ei voida taata.

"Idea Hotel-hyvä palvelu, huoneet kysymysmerkki"
Huone johon majoituttiin aluksi, oli selvästi homeessa, niin pistävä homeen haju oli heti huoneeseen astuessa. Syykin selvisi: kylpyhuoneen suihkutila oli niin pieni että siihen ei ollut mahtunut suihkukaappia, joten vesi valui suoraan lattialle jossa ei ollut kaatoa ollenkaan. Vedet siis juoksivat suoraan vessan ovelle ja siitä huoneen kokolattiamaton […] puolelle. Vessan oven karmit olivat läpimädät. Huone kyllä vaihdettiin seuraavana aamuna, ja hotellin henkilökunta oli hyvin avuliasta. Toisessa huoneessa ei ongelmaa ollut, suihkutilassa oli erillinen suihkun lattia-allas. Hotelli on hyvien yhteyksien päässä, päärautatieaseman vieressä ja metroilla on helppo kulkea. Aseman alueen rauhattomuuttakin monesti liioitellaan, alue ei vaikuttanut erityisen vaaralliselta tai levottomalta. Lisätietoja

We only spent one night in the hotel. Hotel was newly decorated and neat looking inside. All premises were clean. Staff was friendly and spoke good English. Room was a bit too small, going around the bed was difficult and you could not move things around easily. The shower's drain was badly designed as the floor of the whole toilet got quite wet. "Moni kakku päältä kaunis"
Pidimme hotellin ulkoasusta, näytti siistiltä ja puhtaalta. Hotelli oli sisustettu pelkistetysti, mutta paremmin kuin moni hotelli Suomessa. Heti hotellille tullessa törmäsimme vähemmän iloiseen vastaanottovirkailijaan, myös aamiaisella oli vastassa kiireisiä ja hymyttömiä työntekijöitä, jotka eivät edes huomenia toivottaneet. Hotellihuoneen ovea ei […] saatu kuntoon monista pyynnöistä ja korjausyrityksistä huolimatta. Eikä huonetta suostuttu vaihtamaan, vaikka ovea ei saatu lukkoon lainkaan! Ilmastointi temppuili. "Rauhallinen hotelli lähellä asemaa"
Siistit, tyylikkäät pienet huoneet, palvelu pelaa ja on ystävällistä, aamiainen riittävää ja makoisaa. Siivous hyvää tasoa. Sijainti rauhallinen lähellä bussi-, rautatie-, metro-, ja ratikka-asemia. Suihkut tosi pienet, vähän pistorasioita, maadoitetulle pistotulpalle löytyi siivousrasia käytävästä.

Hotelli oli moderni ja ulkonäkö vastasi hyvin netissä olevia kuvia. Kuitenkin; - ilmastointi ei toiminut - koko vessan lattia lainehti lyhyen suihkun jälkeen eikä pyyhkeitä ollut heti riittävästi jotta lattian olisi saanut kuivaksi - joku tuli omilla avaimilla huoneeseemme aamulla klo.9.30, mutta poistui nopeasti paikalta huomattuaan meidän olevan huoneessa. "Hyvällä sijainnilla kiireellä väsätty hotelli"
Viivyimme yhden yön, johon hotelli soveltui ihan hyvin. Remontti oli ilmeisesti valmistunut aika vasta, sillä huoneessamme oli vielä paikoillaan teippejä sekä kylpyhuoneesta puuttui oven päältä laatoitusta. Aamupala oli hyvä, joskin painottunut makeaan. Suuri ongelma oli kylpyhuone, jota ei oltu siivottu kunnolla, vessapaperi puuttui kokonaan ja virtsa […] haisi. "Mind your step"
It soon became obvious to us that the finishings were missing some practical & experienced builders touch. Our door will only shut in ernest via slamming, shower water flowed out to the room as it was missing a step, toilet roll could not be placed in the holder as there was no shower screen & there was absolutely no toiltet counter space. The hotel has perfect location. Rooms are clean and staff is very nice. Breakfast is good! The only thing is that nowadays internet should be free in the hotel. But you have to pay 7 euros per 24 hours. The connection is very good though!

Standard rooms are very small. You have to walk through narrow corridors to go to your room. We had to uprage to an executive room. It was spacious and well designed. Hotel is just behind Duomo. Very good location.

We had an amazing time in Milan and the hotel was perfect. It took us a while to find a hotel as the images of some were vile. This hotel is very modern and clean which is perfect. Perhaps I'm just used to hotels in S.E.Asia, but this room was tiny, with barely enough space for a single bed and a desk. And the bathroom's shower area (there's no proper stall) was sorta "divided" from the rest of the bathroom by a tiny outcropping of glass, but not even an Asian of medium slim build could possibly have fit in the "demarcated" "shower […] area"... And the drainage (set in the middle of the bathroom floor) was not quick enough, resulting in a little flooding (like other reviews mentioned). Other than that, the hotel was clean, and there was a blond female receptionist who was particularly helpful when I was looking for a local grocery. Free wifi would've been nice as well. Lisätietoja
"Central Location"
As with all Train stations in Italy the areas surrounding can be a bit of a risk. However, this hotel is on a quiet main road just off the Piazza Duca D'Aosta. Our room was very small and the bathroom fittings were not completed to the highest of standards. But definately bearable for a night or two.
"Ideal location for Railway station"
Just an overnight stay for us and the hotel fitted the requirements perfectly - a very small but nonetheless comfortable room/bed. Bathroom was tiny and needed to call maintenance to repair toilet flush on arrival - the button was pushed into the wall! Reception staff were great and directed us well to get the maximum out of our limited time

"Near to Central station, but unfriendly service"
Pros: Close to central station, around 5-10mins walk. Modern hotel. Cons: Unfriendly receptionist. The Air con was broken when we got in. Then we left the room for about 1 hour for lunch. However when we returned, there was a man in our room fixing the air con. We thought it was a bit strange that they let themselves in the room without advising us […] beforehand. Anyway, air con was fixed. Bathroom is a wet room, so when we had a shower the whole room was wet, on the verge of flooding the bedroom. The toilet seat & tissue also got wet in the process. "New hotel, bad renovation"
the hotel is located near the central train station. 5 minutes walk. the staff were very helpfull and gave us good recomendations. breakfast was diverse and very tasty. but--- we would not recomend this hotel to others because: 1- the room was renovated badly and the corner wall was wet and damp and there were small bugs on it. we asked to change rooms […] and the staff did so imidietly but the other room was still a lot the same. 2- the shower had no curtain so the water ran all over the floor unless we put a towel there. very uncomfortable. and wierd. 3- the safe did not work. they called someone to fix it right away but it took time and was annoying. thank you to a great staff ( really) but we dont recomend this hotel. "Great hotel but not good if you're in a wheelchair"
The hotel is relatively new and very near to the Stazione Centrale train station, but it advertises the availability of wheelchair-accessible rooms, and they just aren't so. First, the main entrance involves getting up a foot-tall ledge (not possible on your own), The main elevator was not wide enough for my wheelchair, but fortunately there is a backup […] freight elevator that was. But the real problem is that after trying several rooms, NONE had a door wide enough for my wheelchair. So they ended up putting several chairs in the bathroom so I could move from one to the next to get to the toilet or the shower. Very uncomfortable. "Nice hotel with awful bathroom"
Stayed in this hotel for one night in June 2011 (room 101). Hotel was clean and looked reasonably new. Room was spacious though a bit empty. Breakfast was good. Only reason I will never stay here again was the bathroom. Toilet, shower, and sink are in one space. When taking a shower the whole bathroom changes in one, large pool of water. You'll need […] all the towels you can find to clean up the mess. It looks nice, but is just not that convenient. "New Idea Centrale hotel near Central Station"
Very friendly, helpful staff but beware this is a not a full service hotel. Only does breakfast (make sure to ask for a proper coffee from the kitchen!). Note even a bar. Caught me out as I arrived lateon business and expected to get room service or have a snack in the bar that did not exisit. This hotel is conveniently located within 5 min walk from the train station which is great! There are plently of food options in the nearby vicinity. Good spread of the breakfast buffet and the condition of room is fantastic. The bath room is kind of small but it does not really matter to me. Will definitely recommend this hotel!

Hotellet var fräscht, fint och rent. Trevligt bemötande av personal, god service. Minus för litet rum/badrum, samt dåligt med galgar då det inte fanns någon garderob att hänga upp sina kläder. Das Hotel liegt direkt beim Bahnhof und nur 2 Minuten von der Metro entfernt. Die Umgebung bietet nichts aussergewoehnliches, wie in Bahnhofsnaehe nicht anders zu erwarten. Die Zimmer sind klein und modern. Das Badezimmer ist gross und sieht auf den ersten Blick gut aus, ist aber nicht durchdacht. Nachdem man geduscht hat steht das komplette (!) Badezimmer […] unter Wasser. Wer sich nach dem Duschen noch schminken/stylen/zaehneputzen moechte, steht im Wasser. Wer nach dem Duschen die Toilette benuetzen moechte, hat die Fuesse im Wasser... Proche de la gare centrale et des commodités urbains/metro
No se cómo serán el resto de las habitaciones, la que nos dieron tenía las juntas de los marcos de la ventana pegados con trozos mugrosos de cinta carrocera ya despegada, entraba tanto frío como si hubiéramos dormido con la ventana abierta, que paradójicamente no podía abrirse... Es un hotel "de cara lavada", la decoración minimalista está bien, pero […] las instalaciones dejan mucho que desear a pesar de parecer un hotel nuevo, carece de mantenimiento, (enchufes sin caja en la pared, etc). Cochones malos,... A su favor la amplitud de la habitación, el baño renovado y la cercanía de la estación de trenes. Estaba medianamente limpio porque las instalaciones son seminuevas, no porque la limpieza sea uno de los puntos fuertes del hotel. El desayuno también regulero. No lo recomendamos. Lisätietoja

Πάρα πολύ καλή επιλογή για ζευγάρι ή ακόμα και για οικογένεια με 1 παιδί..Όχι παραπάνω λόγο έλλειψη χώρου! Πολύ καλό service από όλους στη reception αλλά και από το restaurant που είναι μόνο για πρωινό! Καλό πρωινό και σε πολύ καλή ώρα...06:30-10:30...μπορείς και να κοιμηθείς αρκετά αλλά και να το προλάβεις! Πολύ καλό room service...και τέλεια καθαριότητα […] παντού! Τέλεια τοποθεσία του ξενοδοχείου,έξω ακριβώς από το metro & το τρένο (για κοντινές αποδράσεις π.χ. σε 2:30 ώρες πάς ΒΕΝΕΤΙΑ) Το μόνο άσχημο....υπάρχει wi-fi στα δωμάτια , αλλά μόνο με χρέωση!(-) Lisätietoja
