This was our second try at this hotel for a quick overnight to let the kids swim. Unfortunately, the swimming pool was FREEZING both times and this time the hot tub wasn't really warm either. It may be close and affordable, but not worth it if when the pool is unusable and that's the main reason for staying.

Due to heavy cigarette smoke throughout our room possibly from a nearby room, I couldn't tell you and neither could the management because they never took the time to investigate the problem, my husband and I ended up leaving at midnight due to the headaches we received from the smell. This motel has much promise because of its location but is need of maintenance and personnel training. Very run down and possibly beyond restoration

We stayed here about the years ago and had an absolute miserable experience. The room was not clean and they were out of clean towels. This time around the room was clean, service friendly, and plenty of towels. Not the Ritz, but good for the price. We will stay here again next time we are on town.

This is modest hotel, but clean and friendly. Perfectly fine when you are visiting your child at Hillsdale College.

Comfortables front desk area with a very nice woman who, unfortunately, gave me a room area I'd never had before, nor will I ever accept again; right across from the front desk area on the main floor. It only took one day to realize that the walls were paper thin, the door across the hall slammed every time someone went through it. This was a business […] trip, so much of my time was out of the room with the exception of sleeping. My husband travels the country often and had taught me long ago to look for bed bugs. No bugs here, but the minute I threw back the comforter, I had to call the desk for completely new sheets, as it was more than apparent that something had been tossed or spilled all over the comforter and blanket. The girl came in and purposely dropped the new bedding on the floor, then asked me if I needed help remaking the bed! I did actually help her as it was easier to get it done with someone on both sides, but honestly, if I had known how noisy it was going to be, I would have requested an entirely new room. I never did feel quite clean enough to be comfortable during my stay in that particular room, but at least the rest of the hotel did seem clean and well maintained. Room was adequate. The walls are thin and the alarm clock next door went off twice in the middle of the night with no guests staying in the room. The front desk had to come and turn it off. Probably could happen anywhere but happened here and was exhausted as a result. Hillsdale is a very small town with limited lodging and dining options.

The staff was very helpful. I had to print a document and the two working behind the counter went out of their way to help me. I enjoyed the workout room. The continental breakfast was a little limited, but okay. Next time I am in Hillsdale, I would not hesitate to stay at Days Inn.

Good base for MI Speedway. About 26miles away. Nothing special but no complaints either. I'd stay there if I had to go to the area. Breakfast was not the greatest. Typical motel fair but only one slow toaster, really weak coffee, not much choice etc.

hotel was clean, the staff was nice and friendly. The breakfast was good. There was noise in the hallway at times. It was difficult to open the door outside with the key. I would recommend this hotel for a short stay.

We came to visit Hillsdale college and had a nice stay. Our room was clean and in good condition but somewhat outdated. It was very cold in the room when we arrived so we turned on the heater. During the night it got very hot. A better thermostat would have been nice. Staff was excellent. Location was very good for access to Hillsdale & nearby areas. Sausy Dog recommendation for a close restaurant was excellent. Only issue I had were the quality of the towels.....quite "tired" to say the least....no longer white...off-white leaning towards gray?? ....very coarse & thin & not very comfortable to use. Not many choices in Hillsdale but this hotel is adequate. The service was exceptiona and the room was clean.

There are no other hotels in Hillsdale...you have to go to Jonesville or Coldwater otherwise. It was adequate. I attended a wedding and it was close to every place I needed to be, had plenty of places to eat close by and grocery stores close at hand. Best feature was a microwave and fridge in the room. Not a lot to choose from in Hillsdale. This hotel was clean, had adequate exercise room and indoor pool. Room was large, clean and comfortable. Not too many choices on the TV, but I was only there one night, so not a problem. All in all, a good value.

This hotel isn't great, but it's probably the best you'll find in town. If you're willing to spend a bit more money you'd do better at the Dow Center at Hillsdale College. My biggest complaint is the fact that my bedsheet had a large urine stain. I have no doubt what it was, given the location and color. Some of the exercise equipment didn't work. Overall was good. Friendly staff, comfortable bed. Wanted ajoining rooms sinc my daughter, son-in-law and 4 year old grandchild were staying there also, wanted to be able to watch child at night if they were gone and the hote has no King rooms that adjoin with queen roomsthat have 2 beds.

About the only colors on the television were red and purple (my husband wasn't happy about that), and I could not access the internet with my laptop because there wasn't enough service. We were very happy at this hotel. the service was good. the rooms were clean. Close to teh Nascar Races which we attended. We will for sure come back next year. Friendly atmosphere.

The hotel is older , showed it's age a bit but was adequately maintained. The room was clean though it had no doubt been a smoking room in a previous life. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Overall, it was a good value.
