The staff was very helpful. While the front desk has limited knowledge of sights and attractions, they do a good job of getting you with the concierge desk that has great knowledge of the area and attractions. This was the best hotels we encountered on our recent trip to the states.You could not find fault with anything. Would strongly recommend this hotel, for the price it is the best value.

Supposed to have two queen beds. Instead 2 full beds. Door was wide open upon arriving to the room. Gives for an uncomfortable feeling.

Always love staying at the Renaissance Seattle. I know the rooms will be well appointed, clean and comfortable. We are never disappointed.

Really great hotel. Stayed at another hotel in another city prior to this one and I thought the service here was much better. Super helpful concierge told me about some great breakfast places and the doormen/valet were super helpful in getting me transportation. They even took my bags for me! This hotel satisfied our needs! We were in a great location, walking distance to all the main attractions! Staff was wonderful and the bed was super comfy! Couldn't have asked for a better stay!

Our room was right next to the freeway, so it was pretty noisy. We were also charged $32.00 to park our car in the garage, which was upsetting since we paid over $150.00 to stay there for one night. Also was charged $13.95 plus tax for wi-fi. Won't stay here again.

I am a repeat user of this hotel - it's located very close (5 minute walk) to downtown places to visit and eat, the rooms are quiet, very clean, extremely comfy beds (clean and comfy is what I really care about here, everything else is icing on the cake). We enjoyed our stay in spite of the weather - great to have an extra quilt in the room already for those cool nights. Was very convenient to the places we wanted to visit. Will definitely consider staying again

Enjoyed our stay. We asked for a room on the opposite side of the freeway. Was quite. Also very easy to find. Would stay here again.

The hotel was nice but the bed was a little uncomfortable. Noisy next to the freeway but it was clean and comfortable other than that.

The whole stay was excellent! We had a nice time in our big room and got to experience the hotel over the weekend. They did fail to mention the "$38" overnight parking (per night) if you choose to park at the hotel. I didn't see anything online or with our reservation ticket at all. Staff and hotel and all services were great. Hotel location wasx perfect for train and jet foil to Vancouver Island.

Beautiful hotel. Rooms are great. Wifi isn't free, parking is an insane $32/day and dogs are an extra $100/night.

I typically stay in Federal Way or Sea-tac as I had a bad experience at one of the 5 star hotels in Downtown Seattle. I have to say that I will be back to the Renaissance due to the friendliness of the staff. They were extremely helpful and it wasn't forced. This hotel is fancy without the uppity! :-)

The location of the hotel and the rooms and public areas were lovely, but the hotel is perched above the I-5 another street and an overpass. Only got a little quieter for a few hours in the middle of the night.

Great value. Lot's of ammenities for the price. You could easily haer the high outside traffic, even on the 17th floor.

Other than the fact that the walls were thin, the stay was great. The hotel provided an excellent gym with personal t.v. monitors on most of the machines. I love the property, however it offends me that this luxury hotel has you pay for internet service, per device no less. Where your average hotels, Best Western, Holiday Inn, etc., internet is free of charge.

I was disappointed that you had to pay each day for wifi and no continental breakfast. With three people and three devices, those two costs can add up. So, we skipped eating breakfast and only had wifi on one device.

Location Location Location.... Restaurant and langues are very relaxing and elegant. Breakfast, Pool and fitness center on the top are just fantastic.

We booked the hotel for some R&R so it was quite a suprise to hear the noise of the freeway right outside our window. At 5 in the am I went to the front desk and was met with a friendly yet, verging on condescending host that I am sure was instructed to poo poo the matter as she had claimed they were fully booked so could not change rooms. I am under […] the impression that Staff are inundated with such requests and I assume that when they see that the reservation is booked thru an agency like Expedia they just dont pull out the red carpet. The shampoo products in our room were also half full which left us feeling rather suspect, the sliding bathroom door did not have a lock on it, and the fridge had no mini bar. There were many unexplained noises in the night that were just plain haunting (really weird, we could not find the source) Just many little things that did not add up to a 4 star hotel. The Hotel Rooms were incredibly small, though well maintained. I felt almost claustrophobic in the room. It had a King size bed and a small chair, which took up the entire room. There was no more room to move around in. Also, they completely rob you in parking. We paid $80 (includes taxes) on parking for TWO DAYS! When confronted on their parking pricing, […] they said "Welcome to the city ." They also said their parking rates were lower than most others. So I looked into this. I found abundant parking all over the place for $6/day!!!! Totally robbed. Easy to find and parking is easy. Greeted by friendly staff. Excellent location. Wonderful room. We have made it our place to stay when we are in Seattle. Highly recommend it. Great price for such a luxury hotel.

Lovely hotel in a great location, central to downtown, walking to many sights. Beautiful views. Excellent meals. I love the RView lounge on the 28th floor. I was given a room with a door to a connecting suite. The door is not at all sound proof. I could hear the couple partying the first night and fighting the second night. Staff were very professional. The location is a bit off the beaten track but easy walk to nearby attractions. I found the beds and pillows to be very uncomfortable and the room a bit noisy with freeway traffic. I would stay here again but only in a room on the other side of the hotel.

My boyfriend and I stayed here Feb 16 and we had a wonderful stay. I chose this hotel for the free parking option but it was much nicer than expected. Location was close to restaurants and shopping. Check in was a breeze, less than 5 minutes to get room keys and park car in garage. The rooms are very clean, beds comfortable. My husband and I stayed here for a weekend get-a-way. The room/hotel was very clean, the staff were very helpful and professional. Our window faced the freeway, so if traffic/noise bothers you, ask for the city side view. We don't mind. I also liked how centrally located this hotel was to shopping, restaurants, etc Will definitely stay here again.

Nice service and attendants. The room was decent size with a nice king size bed. The bathroom door rolled shut so there wasn't much privacy. The hotel is next to the convention center and a little bit of a walk to places like Pike's Market. Valet parking can run you 38 dollars a night! The hotel had some muffins and coffee in the morning.
