Heino hotelli, jonka uudessa osassa huoneissa ei ole välttämättä ikkunaa "ulkopuolelle". Minulla oli ikkuna porrakuiluun.

I was there with my boyfriend and we both like it!! Nice and we got good service :) Breakfast was ok.not super good but not super bad either...and So good location!!! If you have car you need patiene,its impossible to find parking space!!! we but our car to parking garage.but it is expensive :(

Hotelli oli keskellä autenttisinta vanhaa Sevillaa. Matka keskustaan taittui mukavasti jalan ihastellessa pieniä tapasbaareja, kaunista vanhaa arkkitehtuuria, idyllisiä pieniä kujia ja paikallista elämää. Sijainniltaan siis erinomainen, vaikka ei ihan ydinkeskustassa katedraalin vieressä ollutkaan. Yllätykseksemme huoneemme oli kuitenkin hyvin moderni, joka oli ehkä pieni pettymys hakiessamme juuri tuota autentisuutta ja vanhanajan tuntua. Hotellin sijainti on rauhallisen kadun varrella, mutta lähellä isompaa katua, josta kulkee useita bussilinjoja. Bussien käyttö oli erittäin helppoa. Ravintoloita ja tapas-baareja oli alueella riittämiin. Koska matkamme oli maaliskuussa, oli liian kylmää testata hotellin uima-allasta tai lepotuoleja. Ne olivat kyllä valmiina vieraiden käyttöön. The courtyard in the center of the hotel is very relaxing. The rooms are well appointed, but a little minimalistic. The picture of the exterior of the hotel makes it look charming and old world, but the rooms are very modern and just ok. The bathrooms are excellent. There was a great sized room and nice facilities. Downside was a little distance from tourist areas and staff wasn't so helpful.

Cannot fault cleaniness of hotel.Rooms were roomy and spotless. Mattresses a bit hard.A bit away from main attractions but taking different routes meant discovering a lot more of city.On the minus side was noise .Rooms weren`t exactly soundproof so people coming in late or up early,a lot of birds in courtyard and especially location of lift did not […] make for much sleep to a light sleeper.Room was right next to lift which was used a lot.Didn`t get much sleep over 6 night stay.Bar/restaurant staff didn`t have great English so they found it hard to understand us at times.You wouldn`t get any exercise in pool it was so small and certainly couldn`t dive in.Had to keep curtins closed because 2 rooms with porch doors looked right into ours..Hotel cannot be held responsible for noise of birds or other clients but lift was badly positioned when built.Would recommend this hotel but not to light sleepers. Although a good 20 minutes walk from the main sights of Seville, this is a hotel I would recommend for its value and cleanliness. We found the walk into the main part of the historic centre no problem, and the surrounding neighbourhood is pleasant and old anyway. Excellent hotel for a deal. Although a little far from the center and the staff were not so knowledgeable to find buses and other things. They just didn't know. The hotel and the grounds were beautiful and very peaceful.

Our suit was nice but lacked the frills you would expect with this, like robes and slippers. But the worst part of this stay was the indifferent s of the staff to the guest. Not once did thr front desk acknowledge myself or my wife with good morning or anything else. The food in the restaurant was poor and the service when you could get some was amateur. […] Room service was an experience I would not like or have ever again. We order a snack sandwich. When it arrived at the room was not covered and was on a plate on the hair tattooed arm of a waiter. Who was not happy to serve did say thank you for the tip in all uncomfortable experience. The rooms in the hotel are splendid. Marble floors, a great bed, huge rooms and bathrooms, non smoking and very friendly staff. The breakfast was standard as in spain... Not great but had the basics to get one started for the day. The hotel is in a small lane so tough to find when you drive there. Parking is 16 euros a night, so we gave up our rental […] car in seville as we did not need it. Found the hotel okay with gps but many small lanes, and no place to park while checking in... This cost us as my wife had to try to circle around the block but then got mired in the various one ways and had to spend some time finding her way back. The location is a 25 minute walk to the central cathedral and slightly less to the ,ain shopping areas but still a good location in my opinion as there are many dining options on the main hercules square. There is also a delightful little tapas place on the realtor street leading from the hotel to the square which is extremely reasonable and had some really good quality tapas which we enjoyed. Great hotel, helpful reception. The walk into central Seville was interesting with lots of residential streets to meander through. You do need to be happy to walk as the hotel is a 15/20 minute meander into the centre. Swimming pool on the roof - clean and well maintained. We will stay there again.

Very spacious and stylish rooms. Probably a good 15 minute walk to the city center, but situated in a nice neighborhood. The staff were friendly and spoke English which was helpful.

Loved the hotel, perfect location, minutes from the Macarena Arch, Basilica of Macarena and 15-20 minute walk to Giralda Tower, Cathedral, Alcazar, shopping, etc. The hotel was lovely...old combined with new! I managed to book the hotel on a promotion so the value for money was incredible. it has a new and an old part and it is very close to the city centre, just a pleasant walk through Alamedia de Hercules. Easy access to Seville bikes, rooftop sun terrace. The staff on the desk could be a bit more friendly but i have had a limited interaction with them. […] the breakfast was not very good so if you can find somewhere else, go elsewhere. The hotel was comfortable and clean, and the surrounding area was not as nice (The Macarena district). The breakfast was OK, somewhat pricey, but the staff was very nice. It's about a 20 minute walk to the Catedral and Alcazar, so it's quiet at night, and there's great tapas near by.

this hotel is just on the outskirts of the old town in Seville. If you have a car it is a great place to stay. Driving in the old town is insane. but we were able to get our car within two blocks of this hotel. we pulled over and I walked to the hotel. they sent a bell boy to park our car and we did not attempt to use it until we left. Walking into […] the center of town took about 20 minutes but I would not have chosen a hotel more in the center as getting your car there would have been a nightmare. I think that they cannot advertise that they have wifi if this is not true. The noise is horrible because the metallic upstairs . The place location is not the best. The staff is not nice at all.

Beautiful comfortable boutique hotel in the Macarena district. Quiet area with restaurants nearby. Very friendly and attentive staff. Sad to leave.

Excelent services. Excelent neighborhood. Excelent breakfast. Excelent price.

The San Gil is a bit off the heavy tourist traffic area but within a reasonalbe walking distance. We took the bus one way and walked back. The room was beautiful and the staff very helpful and friendly. The wi fi is only in the common area which is inconvienent.

Dear sir, We paid 16 Euro + for the car parking and was firmly promised to have the car at the entrance at 07:00 the next morning as we had a flight to catch. There was no car and no one could collect the car in the morning. Once we collected it ourselves we found that the left mirror was damaged in the garage by the hotel staff. Returning to reception […] asking for the hotel to take full responsibility, It was rejected and asking to speak with management was only met with " maybe arrives after ten ". Extremely bad behavior. No compensation what so ever. Further more the hotel had a flamenco group exercising next to our room. after 2 hours I went to the reception and told them that I personally loves flamenco but not in my room at this time. Beautiful hotel , a bit far from the city center, around 20mn walk. For those staying in the entrance building , there is no elevator... staff attitude at the reception is a bit aggressive and not pleasant. Lack of working computer for those who need to check emails.... this is not the service of a 4 star hotel.

Helpful staff, comfortable mattresses (not always a reality in Spain hotels that are not five star), impeccably clean rooms and a relatively spacious room made for a nice 3-night stay in Seville. We were there in December and the heat in the room was great! The room was quiet although had our neighbors been louder or had a crying baby it would have […] been a problem as the walls are not extremely soundproof. We could hear a crying baby somewhere in the hotel all the way up to our fourth floor, so noise could be a potential problem if you are extra sensitive to this and all depending on your neighbors. The location is a 15 minute walk to center, but a pleasant safe one, even late, if you keep to the main roads. If you are a woman alone in the evening, better to take a taxi just to stay on the safe side but the entire vibe of the neighborhood was not scary. Taxi is cheap and easy back to hotel from center and worth it for the quiet location, more spacious rooms, pool access and comfortable beds. Great price/quality proposition! The barman was very friendly about giving us hot water in porcelain cups (using our own tea) which made for a nice free morning tea in our room. The pool and sun deck looks great for warmer weather. Beautiful old palace, clean, well appointed and close to city center. Staff was very helpful, especially Germán in the bar.

Arrived at lunch time after flight from London. No complaints at all. Friendly staff, modest and clean rooms. Great value in mid december. A mile walk from the touristy area but good exercise considering all the great food we had.

Hotel San Gil was a perfect oasis, close by bus or even (long) walk to all the major attractions. Courtyard in the center of the hotel a plus.

Nice hotel. Blue collar neighborhood. Not located close to the cathedral or the older area of Sevilla. A little bit of a hike to anything but a nice hotel where I would stay again.

The Hotel is too far away from city centre, about half hour walk along very narrow streets.

From the moment we arrived we felt welcome. Lcoated in the Macarena "barrio", the hotel is not right in the centre of Seville but we could walk to the main tourist areas in around 15 minutes and take advantage of the cheaper bars and restaurants nearby. The hotel is just 15-20 minutes drive from the airport and close to the Feria street where there […] is an interesting and colourful local market. We had two separate stays and both rooms were good, but the first one in the newer part of the hotel didn't have a lift and reaching the 3rd floor with luggage wasn't much fun. It looked as though the lift installation is nearly done, so probably won't be a problem in future. A lovely hotel on a quiet street. Our very modern room was in the new addition to the original hotel and very comfortable. A very enjoyabe 20 minute walk to the centre of Seville. Breakfast was excellent. Great top floor pool and deck for sunbathing. Our only issue was with the elevator in our part of the hotel which was out of service for the 3 days […] we were there. If you want an American style chain hotel near the tourist spots, this hotel is NOT for you. If you want a charming, well-maintained Spanish hotel near a lively plaza in the Macarena area of Seville, you will LOVE this hotel. Pros: good amenities (Internet, laundry, room service, mini-bar, roof top pool and sunning area with F&B service). Cons: Rooms […] are small by American standards (but very well maintained) and breakfast was nothing special. The interior courtyard is peaceful and the interior light corridors give natural light to all interior rooms. The hotel is quiet at night, yet 5-6 blocks from the Hercules de Alemeda plaze which has tons of bars, restaurants and whatever. This was my 3rd trip to Sevillas and I will stay at this hotel again. Although not the best area of Seville we could not fault this hotel for its facilities and service. Excellent in every respect.

I must admit that this hotel was not my first choice when making my booking for a family of five. It is on the other side of town of most of the major attractions in Seville. I was also worried at some of the negative reviews the hotel has received on Trip Advisor. Checking in was a pleasant surprise. The staff was curteous and accomodating. A problem […] we had with our booking was immediately resolved to our satisfaction. We were offered a suite instead of the two rooms that I had booked originally, initially at an extra cost, but this was waived at check out. Top marks for customer service. The use of a car is not recommended as the hotel is located in a maze of extremely narrow streets. Driving in these street is only recommended for those that have experience in such conditions. Even though the Hotel San Gil is about a 20 minute walk into the very centre, it is an excellent boutique hotel with every comfort available. The walk through the winding streets was fun, and for those who love to get to know a city well when travelling, this is an excellent location. It is 4 star hotel absolutely. Warning: if you don't like walking, […] perhaps don't visit Sevilla at all. You definitely will need a good pair of walking shoes, and even then your feet will be sore at the end of the day. It is completely worth it though as it is such a great city to explore. The hotel itself is located in the Macarena, a very cool side of town. The location is safe, if not hidden, and very quiet at night, while still being only about a 5 minute walk to tons of wonderful tapas restaurants and bars, and just around the corner from the Almeda de Hercules, a very lively plaza. The service of the hotel staff was always friendly and exceptional, and they were always more than happy to assist with anything I needed. The breakfast buffet was delicious and worth E8.50. Great Flamenco show on one of the evenings we were there - I highly recommend this private show in the comfort of the hotel's gardens. The rooftop pool was wonderful, especially in the heat of the siesta hours. (note: rooftop pools are not meant to be big "swimming" pools, but they are definitely needed to cool down and chill out if you are visiting Sevilla anytime between May and October). The rooms were spacious with a full bathroom, free internet, wonderfully soft linens and incredibly comfy beds. We are a couple that spent 2 nights in Seville. The hotel San Gil was a pleasant surprise and good value for money. It is tucked away in a little alley (dont bother trying to find it yourself, just take a cab), very close to the Macarena and the Herkules square (which is amazing for tapas, dinner, wine, sangria, you name it)) and walking distance to […] the city centre. We loved exploring the neighbourhood. The hotel itself is pretty and very quiet. There is a roof top pool, which allows talking a bath in the middle of the city, full secluded. Bathroom was clean and big, the rooms were good too (only downside was that we were unable to figure out the aircon...but you can always ask :) ) We would definitely go back Lisätietoja

Away from the hustle & bustle of the cathedral area, this hotel was superb, amazing spacious rooms, very relaxing & in an area far less touristy but very authentic 'Seville' . A pleasant 15 minutes winding walk to the Cathedral & Alcazar with plenty of good spots to stop off on the way including the amazing El Rinconcillo Tapas bar...
