Mukava hotelli, mukavalla paikalla monessakin suhteessa. Olimme keskellä talvea viettämässä pitkän viikonlopun täällä. Lontooseen tuli talvi, mutta ongelmia ei ollut lämmön tai muunkaan kanssa hotellissa. Metro/Juna yhteys toimii läheisen aseman kautta hyvin. Kävelematkan päässä Chelsean kotistadionilta. Aamupala perustasoa, mutta varmaan englantilaisittain kuitenkin jopa parempaa keskitasoa.

Olimme erittäin tyytyväisiä hotelliin. Sijainti oli mainio metron, ravintoloiden, ruokakaupan ja luonnontieteellisen museon läheisyydessä. Saavuimme hotellille hyvin myöhään, ja siksi ilmoitinkin kahteen eri otteeseen myöhäisestä saapumisajankohdastamme hotellille. En kuitenkaan saanut sähköposteihini vahvistusta. Saapuessamme hotellille kahdelta yöllä varaustamme ei ensin tahtonut löytyä - henkilökunnan puheista ymmärsin, että hotellissa oli tulkittu ettemme ole tulossa ollenkaan. Tästä huolimatta, palvelu oli koko ajan erinomaista. Tässä hotellissa yövymme varmasti uudelleen.

Kaupungin Lontoo keskustassa sijaitseva The Strand Palace on liiketoimintaan sopiva hotelli kävelymatkan päässä kohteista Lontoon liikennemuseo, Covent Garden ja Royal Opera House. Muihin kiinnostaviin kohteisiin kuuluvat Royal Courts of Justice - Law Courts ja Banqueting House.

Hotellin The Strand Palace päivällisvaihtoehtoja ovat ravintola ja kahvila. Rantabaari ja baari / aulabaari ovat auki ja niistä voi tilata juomia.Huonepalvelu on käytettävissä kaikkina vuorokauden aikoina. Hotelli tarjoaa aamiaisen (täysi, maksullinen). Viihdepalveluihin kuuluu ilmaiset polkupyörät. Tässä 3-tähden hotellissa on liiketoimintakeskus ja sen palveluihin kuuluvat kokoushuoneet pienille ryhmille, limusiinipalvelu ja AV-laitteet. Langaton Internet-yhteys (maksullinen) on käytettävissä yleisillä alueilla. Tässä Lontoo -hotellissa on kokoustiloja, joihin kuuluvat bankettitilat, kokoushuoneet ja näyttelytila. Hotellissa on tarjolla lentokenttäkuljetus - menopaluu (maksullinen palvelu). Hotellin lisäpalveluihin kuuluvat muun muassa concierge-tiski, kielitaitoinen henkilökunta ja pesulapalvelut. Tämä hotelli on savuton hotelli.

Majoitusliikkeen The Strand Palace 785 huoneessa on tallelokerot (kannettava tietokone sopii). Kylpyhuoneissa on hygieniatuotteet (sisältyvät hintaan) ja hiustenkuivaaja. Langaton Internet-yhteys on saatavissa maksua vastaan.Televisiopalveluihin sisältyy maksulliset elokuvat. Käytettävissä ovat myös kahvin-/teenkeitin ja avattavat ikkunat. Asiakkaat voivat pyytää seuraavia palveluita: silitysrauta / -lauta ja herätyssoitto. Siivouspalvelu (päivittäin) on käytettävissä. Kaikki huoneet ovat savuttomia.
Lisähenkilöistä saatetaan periä maksu, joka saattaa vaihdella hotellikohtaisesti.

Strand Carvery - Contemporary restaurant with an extensive cold buffet and grill. Offers a roast dinners on Sunday afternoons. Open for dinner Monday to Saturday.
Johnston's Brasserie - A split-level brasserie restaurant, with wooden furnishings set against cream-colored walls. The menu offers Modern European dishes and light meals. The Continental buffet breakfast is served here. Open for lunch and dinner daily. Capacity 100.
The Mask Bar - Serving cocktails until the early hours, the air-conditioned Mask Bar attracts the business crowd and features bold decor with a black and orange colour scheme. Open 10 AM-2 AM. Capacity 50 seated.
Hops! Bar - Popular with hotel guests and locals, this upbeat sports TV bar has a lively atmosphere, a substantial pub menu and a range of wines, beers, and spirits. Open noon-11 PM. Capacity 60 seated.

Hyvä hotelli, aamiainen myös hyvä. Kommunikaatio vastaanoton ja muun palvelusväen välillä jätti toivomisen varaa.

Unbeatable location, fine service, very clean and safe. Highly recommended. Only things that are not first of class are the internet in tv-service ( it sucks) and some noise from the street, but hey it's London, so I didn't mind. Will use again on my next trip to London.

Siisti ja hyväkuntoinen hotelli hyvällä paikalla, kohtuullisen matkan päässä suosituimmista nähtävyyksistä. Sisään kirjautuessa erikseen kysyttiin haluaako huoneen party- vai rauhalliselta-puolelta. Huone myös oli todella oikein rauhallinen. Aamupala erittäin runsas ja hyvä.

Sijainti oli erittäin hyvä, teatterit, Sohon kuppilat ja chinatown lähellä. Myös jokiristelyn lähtöpaikka, yökerhot sekä London Eye olivat lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä. Metropysäkille muutaman sadan metrin matka. Hotelli itsessään ihan perusmesta. Huone oli siisti mutta erittäin pieni. Aamiainen oli monipuolinen.

Good - friendly staff, good service, clean and well maintained, close to City, theatres and tourist sites. Bad - tiny room and petty charges for left luggage.

We stayed for one night in February. Reception was fast and welcoming, with clear directions to the room and offer of help with luggage. Room was small, as are most central London rooms, but there was plenty of storage space, and it was spotlessly clean. I was really pleased with this hotel where I stayed for a conference. The room was larger than expected (I have stayed previously and some have been small), clean, comfortable and well decorated in a simple, contemporary style. "Not comfortable for the price"
Good location - everything else is very basic. Room is very small. Food in restaurant was reheated from frozen as far as I could see. Expensive. Bar was very cold - the heating was broken according to the barmaid. All in all a very drab experience.

"Great breakfast!"
Our room was facing inward rather than on to the street so lovely and quiet. The window was a bit rickety when we opened it, most likely the reason for the scaffolding on the outside. The breakfast was great, and all the staff were exceptionally friendly and very efficient in the restaurant. Such a central and convenient location too. Would stay here […] again. Lisätietoja

Clean, comfortable, convenient. Small rooms but adequate for a few nights. I stay there frequently although it's important to book early to get the best rates and it's often sold out in the summer months.

We stayed in December, and it couldn't have been better. The location was amazing. That being said, I did note that the hotel is not air conditioned, so I wouldn't stay here in the summer months. If your trip is in the fall or winter, this is a great stay!

I found this place to be somewhat expensive for the accomadations and size of the room. It was however very clean and in a very nice location. Beds were not very comfortable, but it was only a two day visit, so it was tolerable. The inside of the Hotel was beautiful, We thought the rooms were going to be the same. They were just very tiny, but like […] I said, very clean and they had what we needed. The Mask bar was a very nice place to hang out. The club room we stayed in was well appointed and maintained. All staff were friendly and helpful. I would have preferred not to have been charged £2 per each item of luggage i wanted to leave in the hotels keeping while i had one last look round Covent Garden before catching my train home.

Stayed in a room for one. Clever use of space but no room to swing a cat. Luckily, I left the cat at home. Got the munchies at 3am in the morning and room service brought up the best club sandwich ever!

I love this hotel. Have stayed there the last 3 years. Great central location, the restaurants, bars are good and the hotel staff friendly and helpful. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in London.

Although our first impressions were excellent - early check-in, good room, pleasant and clean -we were very unhappy later when a good night's sleep was impossible. The state of the single- glazed window frame let draughts into the room and did nothing to alleviate the noise of traffic. The frame was very loose with large gaps. Added to that, work started […] on the building across the road at around midnight to assemble a covered walkway on the pavement. This was to protect pedestrians from the next part of the work, to clean the exterior of the building, which started around 6 am. Whilst the hotel had no control about the work, the state of the windows IS their responsibility. Our sleep would have been far less disturbed if double or even triple glazing had been fitted. "FANTASTIC"
I stayed in this hotel for weekend away with my family and all I can say is it is top class. I plan to return before christmas.
The Strand Palace was, clean, busy and rarther big, but, clean friendly and idealy situated for Theatres, I was delighted bacause of the cheaper rate I paid. The Savoy is situated accross the Street, ideal for a pre Theatre cocktail !

Plus points..... Wonderful building and decor. Great location. Excellent staff and service throughout. High Quality and plentiful food. Brasserie exemplary. Minus points..... Room too small, too hot, not enough ventilation. Breakfast Room too hot. I think paid too much for room !!
"Clean but....."
I did enjoy my stay and it was incredibly spotlessly clean and to some degree comfortable, but it was tainted by the lack of suitable sound proofing and Air conditioning. I was kept awake one night by a snorer in a neighbouring room and a late night TV watcher on another night. A Fan was provided but it didnt make a difference. I had inner courtyard […] facing room which didnt really have any kind of view and the window boards would only let a small amount of light in. Probably would not choose again unless they had different rooms, but to be fair the staff were pleasant and as I said before the rooms were spotlessly clean . Lisätietoja

Great location in busy and safe area. Hotel staff impeccable for help and directions etc. As usual however, things such as internet access and movie rental are unnecessarily expensive. The room was also rather small, and most disturbingly noisy from people entering and leaving surrounding rooms
