Kaupungin Lontoo keskustassa sijaitseva The Strand Palace on kävelymatkan päässä kohteista Lontoon liikennemuseo, Covent Garden ja Royal Opera House. Lähistöllä olevia kiinnostavia kohteita ovat myös Trafalgar Square ja Coliseum-teatteri.

Hotellin The Strand Palace päivällisvaihtoehtoja ovat ravintola ja kahvila. Rantabaari ja baari / aulabaari ovat auki ja niistä voi tilata juomia. Huonepalvelu on käytettävissä kaikkina vuorokauden aikoina. Hotelli tarjoaa aamiaisen (Täysi, maksullinen). Vapaa-aikapalveluihin kuuluvat kuntokeskus tai -sali ja ilmaiset polkupyörät. Tässä 3-tähden hotellissa on liiketoimintakeskus ja sen palveluihin kuuluvat kokoushuoneet pienille ryhmille, limusiinipalvelu ja AV-laitteet. Langaton Internet-yhteys (maksullinen) on käytettävissä yleisillä alueilla. Tässä Lontoo -hotellissa on kokoustiloja, joihin kuuluvat bankettitilat, kokoushuoneet ja näyttelytila. Lontoolaiseksi hotelliksi erinomaisessa kunnossa ja siisti pikkuhotelli rauhallisella sijainnilla. Hyviä ruokapaikkoja aivan vieressä.(esim. italialainen perheen ylläpitämä San Marco ja loistavaa ruokaa tarjoava pub Sawyers Arms) Lähellä Paddingtonin rautatie / metroasemaa (n.200m). Nopea juna lentokentältä 15 minuutissa koko matka. Pieni huone mutta huippusiisti ja nykyaikainen siisti kylpyhuone. Ystävällinen ja avulias henkilökunta.

Siisti hotelli, bussikuljetukset kentälle, hyvin varustettu baari. Lähellä mukava pubi ja pieni kauppa, josta saa juotavaa ja pikku purtavaa. Kylppäri kylmä, rattipatteri ei toimi, huone 136.
Lisähenkilöistä saatetaan periä maksu, joka saattaa vaihdella hotellikohtaisesti.

Strand Carvery - Contemporary restaurant with an extensive cold buffet and grill. Offers a roast dinners on Sunday afternoons. Open for dinner Monday to Saturday.
Johnston's Brasserie - A split-level brasserie restaurant, with wooden furnishings set against cream-colored walls. The menu offers Modern European dishes and light meals. The Continental buffet breakfast is served here. Open for lunch and dinner daily. Capacity 100.
The Mask Bar - Serving cocktails until the early hours, the air-conditioned Mask Bar attracts the business crowd and features bold decor with a black and orange colour scheme. Open 10 AM-2 AM. Capacity 50 seated.
Hops! Bar - Popular with hotel guests and locals, this upbeat sports TV bar has a lively atmosphere, a substantial pub menu and a range of wines, beers, and spirits. Open noon-11 PM. Capacity 60 seated.

Unbeatable location, fine service, very clean and safe. Highly recommended. Only things that are not first of class are the internet in tv-service ( it sucks) and some noise from the street, but hey it's London, so I didn't mind. Will use again on my next trip to London.

Siisti ja hyväkuntoinen hotelli hyvällä paikalla, kohtuullisen matkan päässä suosituimmista nähtävyyksistä. Sisään kirjautuessa erikseen kysyttiin haluaako huoneen party- vai rauhalliselta-puolelta. Huone myös oli todella oikein rauhallinen. Aamupala erittäin runsas ja hyvä.

Sijainti oli erittäin hyvä, teatterit, Sohon kuppilat ja chinatown lähellä. Myös jokiristelyn lähtöpaikka, yökerhot sekä London Eye olivat lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä. Metropysäkille muutaman sadan metrin matka. Hotelli itsessään ihan perusmesta. Huone oli siisti mutta erittäin pieni. Aamiainen oli monipuolinen.

"Strand Palace Hotel"
Having stayed here several times before, I was happy to book in for a couple of nights for some work in London. The location on the Strand is ideal for me, right opposite the Coal Hole, which is a great little pub with good food and excellent choice of real ales, as well as being an easy walk to Covent Garden, West End, Holborn, and easy access to Templet, […] Embankment, Charing Cross or Covent Garden tube stations for travel slightly further afield. Having been refurbished, the room was very clean although slightly on the small side, but in reality big enough for my needs. The hotel is quite easy to locate and in a convenient part of town to Theatres and Museums near Charing Cross station. The room was incredibly clean, quiet and comfortable, and we'd recommend the breakfast!

Nice hotel, had a room on the back onto Exeter st. Nice and quiet, very central and great location. Close to plenty of restaurants and also useful coop and tesco express.Breakfast was ok too - a plentiful choice of cereals and cooked breakfast and porridge. Stayed at the hotel before and it has always been good however this time the room was very small the bed was extremely uncomftable and the toilet did not flush properly. When I reported the problems in the morning the reception staff seemed uninterested I got a very insincere apology not what I expected for the money paid.

"Perfect except for the bed!"
This hotel was exactly what I was looking for. Great location, great service and free wifi. The rooms were very clean, but the bed and pillows were extremely hard, making if uncomfortable to sleep.

I was a little disappointed in my room. There was no fridge, only plastic cups and I was not able to regulate the heating. The bathrobe though was lovely and the service excellent. Thanks

I booked a superior club double I did not exspect a box room with the bed next to wall which made it dificult to get in or out of bed without disturbing your partner.I will say it was very clean but maybe I exspected to much .I would not recamend this hotel to any of my friends.I would like to say that I have stayed at this hotel on about 4 other accacions […] and that is why I chose this hotel and the rooms where better than this one. All the rooms have been totally refurbished since our last visit and we were upgraded to an Executive room as it was my birthday. We had stayed here about two years ago and they had obviously kept our details. The room was very modern in decor with a king-size bed. Complimentary newspapers and daily replenished water and fruit were a nice touch together […] with free internet and in-house movies. As well as 10% off all hotel charges booked to the room such as drinks and meals, the Executive package includes the exclusive use of a new Covent Garden breakfast room which is tastefully laid up with crisp white table-cloths and provided with excellent waiter service and therefore avoids the long queues at the weekend. Seems we must pay over the top for London hotels, great location,service not that special, however the room was like a match box and very compact, for the price I beleive the room should be better. Would not stay again, Im sure I could find better in central London for the price.
Everything was fine except for the check in which was really slow. I gave up the first time and had to make a complaint the second try

Good - friendly staff, good service, clean and well maintained, close to City, theatres and tourist sites. Bad - tiny room and petty charges for left luggage.

We stayed for one night in February. Reception was fast and welcoming, with clear directions to the room and offer of help with luggage. Room was small, as are most central London rooms, but there was plenty of storage space, and it was spotlessly clean. The room was larger than expected (I have stayed previously and some have been small), clean, comfortable and well decorated in a simple, contemporary style. "Not comfortable for the price"
Good location - everything else is very basic. Room is very small. Food in restaurant was reheated from frozen as far as I could see. Expensive. Bar was very cold - the heating was broken according to the barmaid. All in all a very drab experience.

"Great breakfast!"
Our room was facing inward rather than on to the street so lovely and quiet. The window was a bit rickety when we opened it, most likely the reason for the scaffolding on the outside. The breakfast was great, and all the staff were exceptionally friendly and very efficient in the restaurant. Such a central and convenient location too. Would stay here […] again. Lisätietoja

Clean, comfortable, convenient. Small rooms but adequate for a few nights. I stay there frequently although it's important to book early to get the best rates and it's often sold out in the summer months.

We stayed in December, and it couldn't have been better. The location was amazing. That being said, I did note that the hotel is not air conditioned, so I wouldn't stay here in the summer months. If your trip is in the fall or winter, this is a great stay!
