Ystävällinen henkilökunta, toimiva hotelli hyvä aamiainen. Siisti huone. Pikku miinukset huoneen ollessa moottoritien puolella ja ilmastoinnin meluisuus, mutta miellyttävä kokemus.

Vierailu sujui aivan, kuten piti. Huone oli sellainen kuin luvattiin ja näimme molempina iltoina Disneyn ilotulituksen ikkunasta. Palvelu oli tasokasta ja aulabaarin ruoka hyvää. Edestä pääsee bussilla Disneylandiin, mutta kyllä sinne kävelläkin jaksaa. Yöpyisin mielelläni uudelleen.

Hyvä sijainti Disneylandissä käyntiä varten. Hotelli ja henkilökunta hyvää kolmen tähden perustasoa. Siisti, sängyt OK, aamiainen OK, pysäköintihalli OK, kolmen aamun käyntiin, huoneessa jääkaappi, kahvinkeitin, tallelokero, langaton netti, suihku. Eli kaikki mitä odotettiin oli ja toimi. Useita ruokaravintoloita lähellä, joista The Cheesecake factory paras.

"Very good hotel for the price I paid"
If I didn't read other people's reviews, I would be unhappy paying $27 per day for the parking(no choice but valet ) but I was ready for it so it didn't upset me, besides that the beds and pillows were so comfortable especially the pillows, I could never use hotel pillows usually because they are too high but thier pillows were very soft and I had no […] problem. Also I read the reviews that the airconditioning always makes noises by turning on and off automatically so before we went to bed we opened the window and turned the airconditioning off so it was quiet all night. Also I read that lower floors might smell cigarete smell from downstairs so I requested higher floor(8th) they gave me no problem doing that. And I signed up for some hotel club memership at the check out so they waived my wireless internet fee instead of paying $13.99 per day. The beds were sooo wonderful and very comfortable. I slept very well and can't always say that. I thought the pool was very small for such a large hotel and the spa was like a baby pool instead of jaccuzzi. We didn't realize there was ONLY valet parking. The Fairmont is very convenient to the John Wayne Airport which makes for convenient access the entire Orange County area. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The rooms are spacious, clean and well-appointed. The pool and pool area is an excellent place to relax. "A good deal for Newport"
Beautiful hotel, Fabulous pool. Room was very comfortable. Valet was fast and friendly but the cost was a drag. Close to Fashion Island, Balboa Island,and beaches. Breakfast can be expensive.

WE FOUND THE ROOM TO BE SMALL, THE LAMP NOT WORKING, VALET PARKING IS MANDANTORY, AND THE ELECTRICITY WAS SHUT OFF FOR SERVERAL HOURS ON BOTH NIGHTS WE WERE THERE. I LOOKED OUT THE WINDOW AND ALL THE OTHER BUSINESS' WERE LIT UP BUT WE HAD NO AIR CONDITIONING . I USE A C-PAP MACHINE FOR SLEEP APNEA AND WAS AWAKENED WHEN THE POWER WENT OFF. "Big fancy hotel : good price /bad stay"
I was so excited that I got such a fancy hotel for such a good price but when I got there it was a different story. the first thing i quickly found out was there is only vallet parking which was highly inconvineint. It was a twenty min wait everytime to get your car and if you needed toget anything from your car they had to bring it around. not only […] that but they expect a tip everytime. The first night they forgot to give my car a number and it just sat out front being moved over and over out of the way until i complained. the second night they left it out front with the windows down and i had all my stuff in it including expensive golf clubs. they said they had to keep the windows down because they keep the keys on the visor- so its readily accessible. Wow how easy to steal a car from there. When i checked in I booked a 2 bed non smoking hotels room. The guy gave me keys to someone elses room and i went up to what i thought was my room and opened the door to find another family. how embarrassing. When i told the guy about his huge mistake he comped me for vallet parking which is in the fine print that its an extra $28 per car per day. lame. We were situated on the bottom floor next to the dining room which was very noisy. We could hear all the parties going on all hours of the night. made it really hard to sleep. Everone that worked there was very snobby and treated us like no one because we were not wearing dressy clothes like everyone else staying there. My friend who is mexican went down to the bar to get a drink and he said the bartender just kept ignoring him and giving him dirty looks. Then i was disappointed to find out that there was no breakfast offered, no fridge in the room, and the pool closed at 11. I stayed at another hotel just before that for half the price and it was ten fold better. i would never recommend this hotel to anyone unless you just have money to burn. Lisätietoja

"A Wonderful Stay"
We only stayed for one night, but it was amazing. Great service, comfortable rooms, beautiful surrounding area. We brought our dog and the staff was very friendly to her which meant a lot to us. Highly recommended.

"Snooty Hotel for people who like to spend money"
I had not noticed when I booked this hotel that it was valet parking only. This usually means you will get nickle-and-dimed for everything,... sure enough that is what happened. Sometimes parking is only valet because the parking space is limited (or tight) in this case that is not true. There is ample (valet) parking easily accessible from the hotel. […] So the only reason they do valet parking is to make an extra buck. Parking was $28 per night The internet was $13.99 per day and the business center cost extra as well. (Pro-tip: If you become a member of their rewards program they give you the internet for free...) The first floor allows smoking, which wafts up to the second floor. Which smells really bad of smoke. They tried to hide this fact by bolting the windows shut on the 2nd and 3rd floor ( and then using an excuse when we asked about opening the windows: "People were jumping out of the windows",... really? , more like they are trying to prevent smoke from coming in to the rooms) After moving to the 4th floor we found the rooms to be comfortable with windows that opened. "Fairmont Newport Beach - Not As Good As Expected"
Excited about getting such a great brand name hotel for a Hotels.com price, but was ultimately disappointed. Called for an early check-in. Ended up getting in at 3:30pm but room wasn't ready. Front desk clerk said she would check with housekeeping to see if our room was ready. Waited 10 minutes, and front desk clerk I was dealing with disappeared. […] Went back to new desk clerk and got room. Had never been to hotel and had to ask the clerk where the elevators were. Front desk clerk was not forthcoming with information. Valet only parking causes delays. Thank goodness we got out before the whole wedding party arrived for a wedding at the hotel. Jacuzzi was not filled and tiles were missing from the sides. There was a piece of sandwich bread on the side of the jacuzzi. I asked a staff member to remove it. Overall room was nice though and staff was generally friendly. Lisätietoja

"Great room/mediocre service"
The room was great but the door to the bathroom had several large gouges that could've easily been patched and painted if they were on top of their game. This did not affect the overall quality of the room which was excellent. When we tried to check out the sole agent at the desk was in a discussion with a guest that lasted a full ten minutes while […] we were standing there and she seemed oblivious to us. Had to ask 2x for another person to come to the desk and check us out. This shows lack of training of the people at reception and have not experienced this elsewhere. The hotel is perfectly located if you are after easy access to Orange County International. Other than that it isn't close to much. "this hotel is so so"
I called in before to let the hotel staff know my president's club number and the never processed it. It took me an hour to get the internet going. Overall i was not impressed at all, not the usual Fairmont quality, this hotel needs more.
Lovely hotel! If you are visiting Los Angeles it's 1 hours drive away! Nothing to complain about but just to be noted if that is your reason for staying in hotel!

Went to the Fairmont for a wedding. We were there for the weekend and had a amazing time.. We booked thru Hotels.com and got a good rate. The room was very spacious and had nice amenities.. The pool was very nice with cabanas, and cocktail waitresses at your disposal for a nominal fee.. ( Expensive) lol But well worth it.. :) There was parking, valet […] only.. At 28. a night!! "THE AIRPLANE IS IN YOUR ROOM NOT AT THE AIRPORT."
Overall the place was great. The staff was super friendly and very accommodating. I didn't use the pool, but it looked nice. "Mandatory Valet Parking"
No self parking area, so going in and out becomes a hassle. I called the front desk to make sure there would be no extra charge for the valet parking except tippings. Other than the parking, the room was comfortable, moderately clean and quiet.

"THE WORST!"
I have stayed a several Fairmont's and this is easily one of the worst hotels that I have ever stayed at....under ANY banner. The hotel/room had the following problems: NO self parking....ALL valet for $28 a day and lousy valet service. We had to wait 15 minutes once valet loaded our luggage onto a bellman's cart because there were no bellman available...but […] there were plenty of carts and we were told by the girl at the front desk that we were NOT allowed to take the cart ourselves to the room even though we had our room key. There was no refrigerator in the room...we were told that was due to remodeling. The hair dryer did not work. The Air Conditioning unit cycled on and off repeatedly and kept us awake all night...and it was LOUD. The shower water control handle came of into our hand...a very dangerous thing if hot water were to come out. Although the room was reserved for 2 people, only two towels were in the room....are they trying to limit our showers? We had to call for more towels and I requested 4 towels...they brought 2. I was disgusted with the attitude and the poor service. The head valet guy in the hat stood in front of our car and carried on a conversation for about a minute instead of just moving out of the way....and then looked at us like we were getting in his way.....my car has an electric fan so there is no way he didn't hear the vehicle. We would also call as instructed about 10-15 minutes prior to going downstairs but still had to wait every time for our car...I guess they were getting their $28 and didn't care about tips. To say that I was shocked by how poorly the hotel was kept and how bad the service was would be an understatement. If this is the trajectory of the Fairmont chain, it is time to short the stock and start staying elsewhere. Chris M Lisätietoja
"Nice hotel, great pool area"
Terrific spot, clean comfortable and great pool. Only downside was the bar service and attitude of our server. He was clearly overwelmed but let everyone know he was. In the end service was slow and bad. But the rest of our stay was fabulous so I wouldn't fault them for the one bad apple.

This is a good Fairmont, not great and the price reflects this. It is well- situated near the airport But they need to work on the air-conditioning. It is loud and drips out of the ceiling. Pillows are excellent.

This hotel is gorgeous. Close to the airport, but not loud. The bed was so comfy it was ridiculous. I was traveling with a coworker on business and we both really loved the place. The fitness center was a good size and clean, and the outside pool/hot tub area was nice. The hot tub was not as hot as I would have liked, which is really the only complaint […] I can think of.
