Really enjoyed our stay, had a great supper and breakfast, for a reasonable price and the room was superb for the price. Will stay again.

All in all it's a good place but my bed was not comfortable at all. Way to soft for my liking

I will start by saying I enjoyed this hotel and will likely return.... but I do have a beef or two. The neighbourhood stinks as it is in an industrial park, but the location was close to a friend's place so it worked for me. The beds were to die for!!! They actually inspired me to buy a new bed...like sleeping on a cloud. Complimentary breakfast buffet […] was very good (eggs, sausage, bacon, cereal etc.). Now the negatives: I booked a king size bed and when we arrived we were given 2 queens. I called the front desk and they didn't apologize, no, they told me I got an upgrade because they ran out of kings. I'd rather they admitted that they screwed up... this is not an upgrade when a married couple are the only people staying...???!!!! They allow pets so there was a barking dog next door,....yes I could hear it. Thankfully they left after the first night so it didn't turn into much of an issue. There was also some construction noise but I knew about this when I booked. It almost seemed like they gave me the worst room becaue I got a good deal on hotels.com . We understood this hotel to be brand new which was only partly true. It was an old hotel that had a new wing that was still under construction. We stayed in the older part. Beds sag a little and I prefer firm mattresses. Also hotel was miles away from anything worth seeing. free internet, free parking and a very good buffet breakfast. only drawback was that it was a $40 cab ride to west ed and a $20 cab ride to whyte ave. other then that very nice renovated rooms and great service.

The staff was very friendly, and the rooms were very clean. Service was great. Very nice hotel for an affordable price. I was there for 4 nights for a weeekend get away and was very pleased. Only complaint I would have is the location. It isnt near any of the shopping centers. You also get a FREE HOT breakfast each morning, which was AMAZING!!

Bed was comfortable (foam top), restaurant hot breakfast buffet was good, room was quiet. Under renovation, no sidewalks from parking lot, bar fridge very rough shape, armchair and ottoman old and beat, toilet too small (odd I know, but it was), dark bathroom, and located in industrial area not close to much so had to drive to do anything.

The beds were very comfortable. Internet was reliable. Parking was free (although the parking lot was muddy). Reception on a few of the TV channels was a little snowy. The on-site restaurant served good food which is good because there hotel is located in the middle of an industrial park without much else in the neighborhood.

We only stayed one night and the hotel is currently being extensively rennovated but it was still a very nice stay. Our room was lovely and clean, service in the lounge on the evening was great and breakfast the next morning was perfect, just right to set you up for the day. check in and out was easy and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. […] Not really a great location if you dont want to use your car. Far away from Whyte Ave. and stores, But nice to stay as its quit and really nice rooms. If you have a car or take a texi your set!! It's close to some major highways but not much in walking distance!! So nice the people are and such clean rooms!! They are the best.

A lot of construction going on, and not an ideal location more industrial instead of shopping or restraurants. But, the customer service was outstanding!!!! It was by far the best customer service we have ever had a hotel, also they have a restaurant and lounge right in hotel. Food was great and priced right. We would definately stay again.

My husband and myself went for a relaxing weeked getaway,We must say it was overall the most comfortable hotel stay we have had in Edmonton area! Breakfast was amazing( good variety) awesome service. Beds were a little soft

I was in Edmonton for five nights and could not have picked a better hotel. The room was very comfortable and roomy and had everything that I needed. The complimentry breakfast was fantastic. I took advantage of the steam room and the pool area. The Staff were very friendly and helpful. My hotel of choice when I am in Edmonton.

New hotel, still under construction. Very nice room, clean and quiet. Service was a little lacking in the restaurant (manners would have helped), but overall a good value.

4 words: great restaurant, soft beds.

The value for our price was great. The hotel is modern, clean and very nice looking. The staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms were spacious, well decorated and the bed was very comfortable. However, there were major renovations going on (Feb 2012) so the exterior of the hotel looked a bit rough. The pool area could be updated, it's obviously older […] than the rest of the hotel. The room was very comfortable and clean and staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was delicious and enjoyed by the whole family. I would definitely look at staying here again when traveling to Edmonton in the future.

When we arrived our heart sank. The Internet pic showed a beautiful hotel with a wonderful face. It was way out and slap bang in the middle of an industrial estate. Nothing around except industry. Scaffolding everywhere as building was going on. We went into reception and the reception felt huge, cold and empty. Just one person on the desk, and he wasn't […] courteous at all. A very unwelcome reception. On checking out, we waited in line for 25 minutes as there was only one receptionist. There was no quick check out dropbox. Once we got at the front of the line the receptionist informed that we could have just dropped off our room key.........dropped off where???.? Whenwe walked into the room it seemed very nice at first glance, but then we realized that one pillow was in the middle of the bed with no covering, the lotion was used, the bathtub was dirty. It seemed that the housekeeper was sleeping on the job. The pool was yellow, the hot tub was luke warm and the steam room was cold. The Hotel is in an industrial park and difficult to locate. I completely missed the elevator because it was in a complete construction zone and and did not have a sign indicating it was an elevator. From the time I arrived I sneezed from the dust in the air. My room was next to the elevator which was convenient except for the wheezing noise the elevator […] made whenever it was moving. There were only 2 luggage carts, both being used. Front Desk attendant helped me carry my baggage to my room. The staff was helpful and trying their best to deal with a difficult situation. Very hard to find and in a run down area. The building is under construction so the appearance is not appealing. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Was alittle liery coming in late at night, not seeing any lite hotel sign, in the middle of indrustial park with the parking lot and whole front of the building under construction. They are renovating this hotel so it looks alittle rough but the rooms are very nice.

They are still doing renovations. Elevator is a little sketchy but overall happy with the stay

We arrived quite late, around 2am and it was hard to find the entrance because the front is a construction zone. They are in the middle of renovations. But once we were in the hotel it wasn't bad. My husband & i really wanted to use the fitness room to unwind from the trip and was pleased to find out it was open 24 hours, although the pool had closed at 11pm. When we got down there, it was a construction zone storage, with various bits of diff. construction materials and tools. We were not impressed by that. Room was clean and modern with wide-screen tv (which we never used). The shower had 2 shower heads, which we still don't understand and the shower curtain was too long once you put it inside the shower to take a shower. I had really wanted to soak in the tub, but couldn't figure out how to plug the drain. That was VERY disappointing. Maybe it was me, but my husband looked at it too and couldn't figure it out. Also, they have a really huge, wonderful magnifying mirror, but the lighting in there really sucks. The beds were a little too soft for my liking, but not too bad. But, i did not have a back ache when i woke up. That's a good sign. But the pillows were not normal size. They are 1/2 the size of most hotel (normal size). I think it will be nice once they get the reservations done, but the location is on the outskirts (or so it seemed to me) of Edmonton, in sort of a warehouse area. Can't say anything about the food, as our package didn't include the breakfast but we were meeting friends for brunch anyway. Peeked inside the dining room, and it looked nice. All in all, it was great for one night, and if we were travelling back that way we might stay there again. I was put in the old part of the hotel with not so clean bathroom and bedding. the furniture was worn out. they changed my room to the new section that was good for an additional 30 dollar/night. the location is terrible, does not have any decent facilitty for buying basics (food, restaurants etc). Internet at the new section did not work. Reception […] staff acted as if they had me locked down since it was paid in advance for 3 days with hotels.com. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. The Hotel is in the middle of a major renovation. The room was clean and comfortable, for the most part seemed to be renovated already, I slept good the first night and not so good the second night. The hallways and elevator were in rough shape still though. I had to search all floors before finding an ice machine. The Lounge is fair sized (as is the […] pool), but I only stayed for one drink as the atomosphere bored me. The work out room sucked, equipment was in need of repair, it is small and crowded and there were no free weights. There were several guests who had there dogs with them, not a problem for me but it seemed a little unusual as this Hotel is labeled a convention centre, implying that the customers would prodomently be there for business purposes. We stayed in this hotel passing through on a trip to AK. The hotel was in the midst of remodeling and the competed rooms were beautiful. If we had a complaint, it would have been that the rooms are dark - we had to ask for an additional lamp to be able to read our maps! The pool and jacuzzi were beautiful and the steam room appeared to need remodeling. […] We felt they just hadn't gotten to that area yet. Regardless of that we thoroughly enjoyed the pool area! Hotel was disappointing - although it was supposed to have been updated recently and is still under renovation it looks old and somwhat run down. Breakfast on the other hand was a nice surprise.
