Hotels.comin asiakkaan arvostelu helmi 21, 2013Lentokentälle pääsi sujuvasti aamulla. Huone oli amerikkalaishotelliksi pienehkö. Viereisen moottoritien äänet kuuluivat huoneeseen, mutta ei liian häiritsevästi, sillä ikkunaan oli laitettu lisäeristyslasi. Aulabaari oli plussaa. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja asiallista.

Ympäristö ei välttämättä ole hyvä kävelylle, paikalliset varoittivat rikollisuudesta. Mutta jos liikut autolla niin suosittelen.

Hotels.comin asiakkaan arvostelu maalis 28, 2011Asuimme perheeni kanssa pari viikkoa hotellissa ja kaikki meni yleisesti ottaen hyvin. Aamupala kuului hotellin hintaan ja oli mielestäni hyvä. Ainoat mieleen tulvat miinuspuolet liittyivät epäselvyyksiin: jäi epäselväksi, onko hotellissa lapsille matkasänkyjä vai ei, sillä saimme asiasta kahdenlaista informaatiota. Loppujen lopuksi hotelli ei niitä ainakaan meille tarjonnut, joten otimme yhden mukaan. Lisäksi siivojat vähän liiankin innokkaasti poistivat lapsillemme tarkoitetut ylimääräiset pyyhkeet ja vuodetarvikkeet, mutta asia korjaantui kun sanoimme asiasta siivousvastaavalle.

Hotel and the room was very nice although we found a empty bag of potato chips on the bed which caused us to inspect the rest of the room but found it to be clean. This hotel is almost right across the street from the Johnson Space Center and just 5 miles from Kemah Boardwalk. We had a room with a water view, and it was great! The hotel was priced exactly right for its quality. The room was a great size and the only thing lacking was a nice big bathroom. The bathroom was standard with no bells or whistles and left me wanting something more. The service was superb. When I arrived I asked for a room overlooking the lake and they did me one better and put us in a corner room […] as well. A nice Hotel that is very clean with a friendly staff. Only problem was the shower. I could not get the shower to turn on so I went downstairs to complain. The front desk said you need to pull the handle very hard for it to work. I went back upstairs and pulled the knob out of the wall. When leaving I went back to the front desk to warn them to fix […] the shower before the next guest arrives. There only comment was they were sorry for the problem. I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff was very nice and helpful. When I arrived I asked if I could get a room with a view of the lake. Without hesitation I was accommodated. Prior to my arrival I asked if a microwave could be put in my room. My dog has a special needs diet with requires that it be heated. The gentleman at the front desk called housekeeping […] to make sure it had been put in my room. When I got to the room, the microwave was there. The room was clean and roomy and the view was incredible. Also, there was a lot of open area with a lot of grass where I could walk my dog. The staff seems well meaning but slightly inept - Our room was not ready for our 3:00 check-in until nearly 2 hours later. They comped drinks at the bar for our trouble (our bartender was fabulous!) but 2 hours was a little much. And to add to that, housekeeping showed up an hour an a half before (9:30!) checkout (11:00) the next morning.... Strange. […] Other than those hiccups it was good value for the $ - The breakfast bar was well stocked & tasty as well. Very clean. The caulking in the shower needed another touch up. The shower pressure and hot water were plentiful. Great restaurant. Ask for the burger menu if you are not looking for a full meal. "Different standards than usual for Hilton"
Hotel was not prepared for the amount of customers - there was excessive wait times for room service, the restaurant was out of a lot of the wines and the food tasted mass-produced & they did not carry cold sparkling water. Server was very pleasant & smiley but way overworked & overwhelmed. I had requested a quiet room but the child in the room next […] door was up early as was his entire family, and we could hear their entire conversation - did not get the sleep in as wished. Bathrooms were so very small & ancient. I typically prefer Hilton's over all other hotel chains but felt this one was definitely far beneath the average standards of the others I've visited. "Romantic get a way"
Our stay was excellent. The staff was friendly and very helpful. As my husband and I stayed in our room all day Saturday with the do not disturb sign on the outside (not even housekeeping knocked on the door). "A hotel that teens will enjoy"
We will return. Great location. Kemah is close as is Galveston. Local restaurant, Tookies, was good for the kids, and Valdos had great seafood. Both were close to the hotel. Jet skis close too. "Great service. Hotel is getting a little old."
We arrived to find our room had not been serviced and that it did not have adequate beds for the 4 people on the reservation. The manager apologized and immediately upgraded us to a suite on the top floor for our stay. VERY impressed with the service and attitude of the employees there. For a Hilton hotel, we were disappointed with the beds; much too small for a family of 4. A couple has a hard time fitting into their double beds. Room were not picked up as expected.
