Ihan siisti hotelli. Aamiainen oli OK. Sänky oli hyvä. AInoa mitä puuttui oli golf channel telkkarista. Ravintoloita ja pubeja löyty läheltä, tosin liikenne siinä vieressä oli aika vilkasta. Kadun ylittäminen kesti, mutta maltilla onnistuu.

"Save your money"
It was my graduation weekend, and I had reserved 5 rooms. The staff double booked one room, and we had someone walk into the room while we were sleeping. Another room was completely forgotten, even though I paid in advance. There were vagrant workers hanging out drinking beer outside. "All my clothes smell of smoke"
In all honesty, the room was nice and the beds were comfortable, but the room smelled of smoke even though I had asked for a non-smoking room. I juist unpacked my luggage from the trip and all my clothes smell like smoke. The location was not quite as close to Lamar as I thought but that's more my fault.

We stayed in this hotel for 6 nights to attend a funeral and take care of personal business associated with that. The room itself is very standard and designed exactly like any other La Quinta we have stayed at in other cities - The beds are a size double but they have updated sheets/comforters which is a nice detail. The cleanliness wasn't awful, but […] it was obvious the maid service had done a very quick run through the room as we found bottlecaps under the bed (in that 2" area) and there was a half used mini-shampoo sitting in the tub area. However, there were absolutely clean towels and sheets with clean surfaces around. The area is probably the biggest complaint - We were on the very backside of the hotel and was told that it was the quietest area. The road that faces this backside area does not harbor constant traffic, which we knew, so we believed them. Wrong! There were people practicing their dragracing skills, semis parked there with their engines running all night, and we witnessed a few *ahem* solicitations take place with other people staying further down the outdoor hall area. On a whole, it was entirely adequate for what we needed - a place to sleep. I can't say that I would recommend it highly, but the location (for us) was good and the rate was acceptable. "VERY NEAR THE HOME WE WERE VISITING"
We have stayed in La Quinta Inns before.and have usually found them to be adequate. Yours was definitly more than adequate. One of the things I noticed was how nice and fresh the sheets smelled. Made for a very restful night's sleep before heading out the next morning. Thank you so much !!

There were so many gnats & black bugs. Ants on the ice bucket ... The drainer in the tub was broke. There was a gnat in the pitcher of milk. Unfortunately our room was right next to the door to the lobby which desperately needs a pneumatic closure. The banging of the door was annoying. The staff was very pleasant and agreeable, though.

The location of the hotel is a good central location, but the upkeep of the hotel was mediocre. "Convenient to highways and not too noisy"
Very comfortable and quiet, despite the proximity to I-35. The rooms must be sound-proofed. We stayed 2 nights and I'd stay again. The only downside is that there was only one staff member after 3pm - the front desk person had to do all room service (towels etc) and check everybody in. She was overworked. "Don't even think about breakfast"
The problem with La Quinta is that the range of quality within the chain is tremendous. I recently stayed at the new one in Longview, Texas and it was great! Very nice rooms and a great breakfast. This one is very old and had the poorest breakfast bar of any hotel I have ever stayed in. And, I have stayed in hundreds, if not thousands, over the years. […] In all fairness, the rate is extremely low for Austin, which probably should have been a clue. But if a hotel has the La Quinta name, I expect accommodations than I got at this one. No rollaway bed. Over booked by hotel.com. Strange surroundings. Needed a face lift. Blankets old. Great confusion on prebooked taxi -- others allowed to take cab.
"Location is disappointing"
It is literally in the middle of nowhere. Far from downtown and SOCO. Busy highways are literally outside your room so it makes it very noisy.

"Great Hotel and great Rates"
Our room was so clean and nice, the front desk clerk that checked us in was awesome and so polite and professional. I reccomend this hotel to anyone, great place for the money and located by everything you need.

Hotel staff were helpful and curtious to all our needs, only downfall is the showers were not clean, the rest was okay .
Not bad for the price! close to downtown & ya get what ya pay for.. with that said average/cheap price & the hotel was average. I would recommend it if you're on a budget because it was clean & neat just simply not THE best.

Old and fairly run down hotel. Right under the overpasses for I35 and 71 - very noisy.
My crew did not feel safe, They told me 3 room doors were kicked in. Also, one of our rooms was being painted when the crew arrived. My crew said they would not stay there again.
Good hotel, and breakfast was better than expected! I would stay here again.

"Run down, in need of maintenance"
I had to change rooms due to the toilet leaking and the doors to the closet wouldn't close... Just needs some maintenance. Beds are good, TV selection was limited and some of the channels supposed to be offered, didn't work.

The tub looked like it hadn't been scrubbed in months. I felt like I need a shower after my shower. Gross!

"Good alternative to others in the area"
This is right across the hwy from the Omni and is cheaper, more accessible and more comfortable. The only problem is that the free breakfast is a bit lacking and the coffee cups are way too small. The rooms are newly updated with new flat screens and the beds are super comfortable. There is an IHOP on the property that seems okay...and next time I will […] go there instead of the free breakfast. All in all, it was fine and I would have no problem staying there again. I do wish they would improve the breakfast with more varied types of fruit, some cereal that people of all ages would like and maybe some danishes. Bathroom needs an exhaust fan, no sugar for coffee. Other than that...very satisfied with visit.

Very nice room for the money. Decent breakfast. Dog friendly, a must for us. We have been forced to stay in smoking room before because of the dog, but were given a nice non-smoking room.

we were told check in time would be 1PM WE arrived at 1PM to be told our room was not ready. The room was ready at 2PM.our room stank,the matress on the beds were old an sunk in. There was no stoper in the tub and the over flow cover was completly missing with a jaged smelly hole where it should have been.The televison had a red screen on all stations.This […] was not a hotel but a very old motel.I have stayed at better motel 6. I reserved 4 rooms thru hotels.com with the understanding that 3 rooms had hide-away-sofas. Once checking in, we discovered the sofa"s turned out to be hide-away-recliner that a normal size person could not sleep on.Therefore 3 kids slept on the floor. You would think that honesty would have worked --NOT.

La Quinta prices can vary greatly depending on hotel age and location. This is a more economical La Quinta since it is older, has limited parking and is next to a busy freeway.
