It was fine , some really noisy neighbors were the only problem at all

Room was clean and surprisingly quiet given the close proximity to the interstate. Continental breakast was good. Very conveniently located for venues we went to.

This was the second time we stayed at this hotel for a mini-staycation and we were just as happy this time as we were the first time around. We are already planning our next trip and plan to stay there again. The price is right, the hotel is clean, the breakfast is great (and free), and the location is perfect!

Comfortable low cost accomodations. Nothing fancy, but no negative surprises

This hotel was nice for the price, but the beds and pillows were very uncomfortable. We tossed and turned all night. The staff was very friendly.

If you are planning on staying at this La Quinta, please know up front that this is closer to a "motel" than a hotel. I was dismayed by the physical condition of this "hotel." The owners should be ashamed of themselves and La Quinta should be ashamed to lend this hotel their name and reputation. I had a ground level room and ended up changing rooms […] twice due to the smoke smell in the rooms. Other guests do not abide by the smoking rules. Instead of smoking in the designated areas, they smoke out in the parking lot right in front of the rooms (or standing outside the door of their room) and the smoke is carried under the doors right into the rooms. If it is important to you to have a smoke-free room, specifically request a room on the second floor. My second floor room was fresh and clean. However, the plastic casing around the TV was shattered. I immediately called the front desk to be sure that I would not be charged for the breakage. From the double-stick tape attached to the plastic shards, I surmised that this TV had been broken for some time instead of replaced. Tacky. The breakfast bar was underwhelming. There were no hard-boiled eggs, so the breakfast is mostly carbs (toast, bagels, muffins, oatmeal, waffles and dry cereal.) The fresh fruit consisted of bruised bananas and apples. The coffee was fresh and hot (thank goodness). I recommend getting to breakfast earlier than later. At 6 am there was a good selection and plenty of room to sit. At 8 am all the muffins were gone, most of the bread and bagels were gone, every seat was taken, and there were no more spoons. People were very cranky and it was loud and crowded. Also to know in advance - bring your earplugs. The hotel is located at the intersection of a very busy major road and the interstate highway. Traffic sounds are constant and can be quite loud. This is a great hotel Good location clean dog friendly good price Karen at the front desk is exceptional as she took care of numerous faxes for me with a smile. I will be staying here on all business trips to Denver.

Room was non-smoking, but reeked of smoke. Otherwise fine, good location for close proximity to the light rail.

The La Quinta in Cherry Creek has a friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed our stay there and would not hesitate to use this hotel again. The beds are very comfortable and although the hotel is an older one, it is kept in good condition.

The hotel was ok condition, Smells in room and a/c heat was no functioning the first night we were there. Overall it was ok.

Clean and friendly. One of the ladies had to many facial piercings. I didn't enjoy that part of my stay.

Room was clean and comfortable, surrounding area pretty quiet, with several good food options nearby. Free breakfast with standard fare (waffles, cereal, breads/muffins, fruit and HB eggs).

comfortable bed, clean room, nice shower, good HVAC system. The layout of the hotel, the concrete stairwells, and overall exterior appearance were a little lacking, but reasonable value for the location and price.

I stayed here because of it's close location to friends that I visit when in Denver. I have stayed here before and will stay again. Good value for the money! The breakfast is good for being continental, you can get waffles, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, fresh fruits, bagels, ect....

A party of 6 stopped over in Denver for one night before we flew home. The hotel was well located for what we wanted, shopping. The staff were helpful. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. We were on the side of the main road so it was quite noisy ne difficult for people to fall asleep. The only fault in the room was the bath tub was slightly […] chipped. The free breakfast was adequate however, I was slightly disappointed that it was Served on polystyrene plates and cups. Found to be very good room and breakfast for the price charged. Good value. Would recommend to friends and will stay again.

Our first night was terrible. We were on the bottom floor and the people upstairs were stomping and running back and forth all night long. We had to finally call the front office so that they would contact the people upstairs regarding this issue. Our 15-month old woke up three times because of this. Then, at 2:00am, the ceiling above the shower started […] gushing water which woke us (and our baby) up AGAIN. When we called the front desk, they wanted to move us right then, which we did not do (because it was 2am). They did move us to another (upstairs) room for the other two nights, which was good. The inside of the room looked good -- updated. BUT, it smelled like cigarette smoke the whole time (from the smoking rooms, I guess). Also, every time we opened the door or got out of our car, the air outside reeked of grease (like smelly cooking grease). I suppose this was from the Perkins Restaurant next door. YUCK! Lisätietoja

Staff was rude, they had our reservation wrong, we didn’t get the room we needed and did I mention the staff was s RUDE!!! (At check in and checkout)

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. While not shiny and new the rooms were clean and comfortable. The price was great and the continental breakfast made it even better.

I'm glad that I didn't read the reviews before I booked this room. After reading them (in the room, using the free wi-fi), we made a close inspection of the room and discovered that it was exceedingly clean. The front desk staff and cleaning staff were very friendly; and we even got a "welcome, is your room comfortable?" phone call from the front desk […] within 30 min of checking in. There is a sandwich shop, an Asian noodle restaurant, a Perkins, and a natural food grocery less than 1/2 block from the motel. There is a mile of very nice sidewalk along a grassy area less than 1/2 block from the motel. It was a wonderful place to walk the dog. Fan in shower did not work. Wierd substance on TV remote, looked like vomit. Noisy room near highway.

I've stayed here on numerous occasions due to its close proximity to work needs. It always provides a nice room at a great value. I also like that they accept pets, without an extra fee. They've upgraded to flat screen HDTVs as well, which is a nice amenity at this price point.

This location is older with exerior doors and the exterior certainly shows its age, but the rooms themsleves look like they have been recently redone and are actually quite nice. Older property but very nice. Recently remodeled rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Friendly staff.

The room was dirty, we requested non-smoking, the bed cover had cigarette hole in it, smelled like smoke, dirty toilet, sheet has stain...I felt dirty staying there. I was at conference that ended late Thur & Friday, decided to stay since my employer paid for hotel, I will never recommencd La Quinta or stay at a La Quinta hotel again

This La Quinta has improved greatly since my last visit 2 years ago. The rooms have been renovated with new mattresses and flat screen TVs. Not fancy, but clean and pleasant, with easy parking. The staff was friendly and helpful. Although the free breakfast is awful, there is a Perkins restaurant next door which has a decent and inexpensive breakfast. […] Very convenient location. Great staff and nice hotel.

room was nice, bed was comfortable but room was in a walkway (tunnel like) that amplified any and all sounds including the drunk party at 12:30 am that hung out for an hour. otherwise it would have been completely enjoyable

the outside of this motel looks pretty old but the rooms have been redone and are fine. Careful which room you get as it's on a busy road.

Very friendly from the moment I checked in to the phone call from the front desk asking if everything was ok when I got to the room. Also, this hotel was conveniently located near the railway station to get to downtown Denver...a major plus!!

A new televsion system had been recently installed, which was not working. No TV at all the first night. Requested maintenance the next day. Had only a few intermittant channels the second night. I would not stay here again until they resolve this.

The LaQuinta Cherry Creek is a very convenient location (that is where the positive ends). The hotel website said that check-in is at 1pm. We arrived at 2:15 to be told that the check-in is at 3pm. Our room was not available until 3:30pm. The TVs were being updated (which sounds like a good thing). WRONG! The TV mystically turned itself off and we did […] not have TV or only limited TV (1 channel - TV Land) for 3 of the 4 days we were there. On day 3, they gave up and disconnected the HD and gave us standard cable for our last night. The sign in the lobby said that we would be inconvenienced for 20-30 minutes during this upgrade. In addition to this annoyance, the technician knocked on our door and when asked to wait "just a minute", he proceeded to unlock the door and walk in ---while I was changing clothes (don't think I need to be more graphic). I'm not sure that there are many women that wish to be caught in such a vulnerable situation by a strange man. So, this is a bad stay....not finished. On day 3, the manager was prepared to offer us a one night free stay at her facility, but when she tried to call our room, the phone didn't work. That's right...another technician at the door (this one didn't just walk in) announcing that we didn't have phone service. News to us, but why not. OK, so it's finally time to leave. What could possibly happen on the last morning of our stay. We woke up to no water. YES....the entire motel with no toilet, no shower. So after a long intense conversation with the property manager, we finally got a refund, but this does not make up for the miserable stay and the damage that this made in our total vacation experience. This hotel is located in a highly trafficked area and appears to have been there for quite some time (run down). Basically, for a similar price you can find an updated/newer hotel in the area. I would encourage such.

After booking a king bed non-smoking room we were told when we checked in that there were none available and we had to have two double beds. The beds thankfully were very confortable but the hotel itself if rundown.

The room was comfortable and clean. It was easy getting in and out of the property. The complimentary breakfast area seemed too small and it was congested around the breakfast items.
