Millennium Maxwell House Nashville - Nashville

Have stayed at this hotel 3 times and have been satisfied each time. Friendly staff, free shuttle to/from the airport, as well as to/from downtown Nashville. Much more affordable than hotels directly on Broadway (downtown). Rooms are clean and spacious.

My family only stayed one night in Nashville, but we may return sometime for a longer stay. If we do, we would definitely consider staying at this hotel again. The hotel was very clean and had a nice little outdoor pool. The views from many of the rooms and from the glass elevator were a beautiful view of downtown Nashville. There was no free breakfast, which was a bit of a downside, but the hotel's restaurant was not ridiculously priced and the food was good. My son devoured their blueberry pancakes. There was no fridge in the room and I heard a staff member tell another guest that most rooms lacked a fridge. That was a bit of a downside, but it didn't ruin it for us. The service at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. I think I made friends with a couple of the women up there. Best things about this hotel were the reliable shuttle to downtown (except one grumpy old man driver) and the personnel. Very friendly and helpful staff from desk to housekeeping. But the hotel needs a major renovation. Tub had standing water (though they tried to fix it), mildew on ceiling above the sink, peeling wallpaper in the bathroom, and clammy […] old sheets. The Free shuttle service was very nice we had one driver who was very rude but the other one was very pleasant. The staff at the counter when i checked in was more than welcoming very nice asked a lot of questions about my stay and why i was visiting. staff the next day was very rude and lied about what they were going to do when i asked questions simply […] just didn't care they seemed to want to answer the phones more so than deal with me who was there first right in front of them. i waited through about 20 phone calls (no joke i started counting) and to still recieve poor service after i waited through that was frustrating. I ordered room service my first night and the guy who delivered was very nice and the food was good! The cleaning staff on my floor was beyond nice and very funny and was just having a good time. Although there were 2 very young guys who were cleaning on my floor swearing and yelling in the hallways making fun of guests and what they found in rooms or what people were watching or listening to they even used were calling each other f*gs and other profanity names. Very upsetting to hear coming from staff and throughout the entire hallway not a good way to start my first morning there. My showere leaked my entire stay the room was rusted and very dirty there was garbage in piles under my bed as well as food yuck! I normally do not post bad reviews, but I felt like I needed to for this hotel. This is a very aged hotel. When we check in we asked if we could have a quiet floor. The staff member said, "There are no quiet floors. This is a party hotel." We found this true. It seemed like this was the place people came to stay to party and visit the party area downtown. […] It was not uncommon to see people walking around with beer in the hand in the lobby or elevator. Stayed for a few nights on a business trip. It was clean, comfortable, and it was offering shuttles to the CMA festival that was going on which seems pretty cool. Good value too because there wasn't much available due to the festival. I would recommend to it to friends or colleagues.

The hotel is average, we booked last minute for a weekend and unfortunately not much was available in the City centre, I'm sure if we booked in advance we could of got something more central. the hotel does offer a free shuttle service to town but you can be waiting a while, both for a lift in the first place and a return ride, but at least it is offered. […] We in the end decided to drive into town rather than wait 30mins +, couple of occasions we got a taxi which is about $10 each way. Stayed here driving cross country, and its conveniently right off I-40. Very clean, comfortable rooms, especially for the deal we got. Only wish it had been closer to downtown, but they do have a shuttle that runs until 10:30 (at least on week nights).

The hotel is pretty outdated and front desk agents were less than happy to really be helpful... None of them seemed happy to offer any customer service. Shower drain was extremely slow. Our friend found this hotel last-minute, and we decided to go for it because of the competitive rates. It turned out to be a great choice. Located just a few minutes away from downtown, the hotel was nice and clean and the front desk staff were very helpful. An added bonus was the free shuttle to downtown and surrounding attractions.

This hotel was just ok. I paid quite a bit more than I would have with another chain that I frequently use. Not impressed with what I received. Don't waste your money here. The lobby does have a foul smell to it. I expected more for the price you pay for the room. All of the amenities cost more as well. The rooms do not have a microwave or refrigerator in them. If you want them they will brings the in and charge you rent. Bedding is old and dated. No wireless internet unless you pay more. Resturant […] has very low quality food at a high price. Waited on the shuttle to take us downtown. When we wanted to come back we called for the shuttle to come and get us. 45 minutes went by no shuttle. We took a cab since it was raining and we were soaking wet. This hotel caters to those going to Nashville who want to dive into the music scene for the most part, as evidenced by the theme and tour bus schedule. For those of us not interested in all that, it was obviously a very nice hotel and is still fairly nice, but she's showing her age. The hotel is right outside a pretty rough neighborhood. The air conditioner in the room was so loud that every time it started it sounded like a horn playing, and it would start every 15 minutes! The walls are pretty thin also, so you can easily hear your neighbors. A very sleepless night. Wont be returning.

We stayed here on a Friday and Saturday night while visiting family in Nashville. It was decently located near interstates/downtown and the lobby is fun with a "nashville" feel, but the rooms were verrrrry dated and had an altogether unclean feel. The carpets felt like you didn't really want to walk around barefoot, the bathroom was just a little grimy […] and the bed/bedding felt old. A coil was poking out of the mattress under my pillow.... I have never paid $137.00 for a hotel room and didn't have a microwave or refrigerator. The room was very small with twin beds. The heater didn't work in the first room plus the bath tubs were very dirty. In order to have a microwave and refrigerator, you will have to pay an extra fee. So what are we paying for, just a basic room?? The price we got […] was discounted because we did it online. If you pay in person the price will be much higher($169.00). Rooms could use some updating. Air pressure pushes shower curtain in toward you. Water would not shut off in shower. Overpriced for what you get. Lobby and restaurant are nice.

Doesn't have free wifi or a fitness center, which is odd for such an expensive hotel, but it is nice, safe, comfortable. Has a mini fridge and microwave and coffee maker. Very nice, but it should have free Internet and a fitness center for that hefty price.

The hotel is decent but outside of cosmetic updates it is dated. The bathrooms are 20 years old. The courtesy shuttle was great to help on cab fair to downtown but was not always reliable. Desk clerks were not very friendly.

Pros: hotel location is ideal for quick drive to downtown area, and hotel offers free shuttle service within 5 miles; ample free parking available. Cons: breakfast should be included for the rate; wifi is free in lobby but costs you ten per day from your room, whether you connect to wifi or internet cable (which didn't work). Hotel staff really didn't […] seem to care if we enjoyed our stay or not. They weren't rude... just seemed that they were going through their tasks and guests were just something that had to be managed. First thing at checkin is to sign a statement that you agree to all the penalty fees and understand that they are not responsible if the maids steal anything from your room. They didn't explain the wifi situation. The maid didn't get around to cleaning our room until around 4 p.m. the following day, while we were back there for showers prior to going out at night. She basically wanted us to get dressed and let her come in to do a very quick clean because it was time for her to finish work for the day. The room was quite dated (as was the hotel) and the bed was not only uncomfortable... it was actually bowed... you could actually see it easily. The room was great and the front desk was great. The restaurant and bar were not attractive and not a place you would want to hang out. The hotel is not walking distance to anything except for a few fast food places. I used the shuttle to get downtown and back and had a good experience. But waited for over 45 minutes for a shuttle from the airport and […] had some mix up for the shuttle to the airport. The desk will tell you the shuttle to the airport is from 7 to 10 at the top and the half hour, which would be excellent service. But, after waiting for nearly a half hour, from 9:50 until 10:15, the shuttle that arrived told me I missed the 10am shuttle and he was going at 11. The next shuttle told me now, I would go on the first. Eventually, I took the first shuttle and left about 10:30. A needlessly, stressful experience. The day prior, a group of guests complained about the shuttle, and the manager's response was that the shuttle was complimentary. Cab rides to downtown are about $10-$15, but there weren't any cabs standing by at the hotel. Lisätietoja

Disgusting! I don't know how this is rated as a 3.5 star - I would rate it as MAYBE a 2 star. There is a nasty little restaurant downstairs (this was the reason we chose this place as everything else was closed, restaurant-wise).
