Hotels.comin asiakkaan arvostelu marras 8, 2012Hotelli oli hyvällä paikalla ja palvelu oli ystävällistä. Huone oli hyvin varusteltu ja siisti. Hotellissa oli ilmainen ja hyvin toimiva Wi-fi. Kasino ja parkkihalli olivat kiinni hotellissa, joka teki liikkumisesta helppoa. Hotellissa oli myös erittäin hyvä bistro-ravintola jossa oli todella hyvä lounasbuffet hyvään hintaan.

Buy the room for double beds because the price is about the same but more roomy. That is what I did - alone. Free room phone calls around all the USA ! I liked the simple breakfast too - it was all fresh and ok tasting even if it came out of bags...Danishes were great ( I do not usually even eat pastry). The only negative I found was that the walls are not the thickest! Ask to live in the 3rd floor and in the court yard (front side). While in town try Red Hawk's fajita salad, and Olga's Kitchen! ( I used to live here for school in the 90's and they have been around since!)

The area was next to a highway but still was very quiet and calm. Pretty little place. The lobby was great and the breakfast there very good (fruit, woffles, scrambled eggs, bagels, muffins, yogurt etc.). We have nothing to complain about this place and would definitely come back again!

However, three out of four lamps in the room did not work, also the air condition was inoperative. A call to the bell desk brought a technician to my room in a minute or so (very fast) and these things were fixed. The complimentary breakfast was modest, just tee/coffee, some muffins etc. The location could not be better. Both Greektown and the GM Renaissance Center are just around the block.

Staff was friendly and helpful. First time at con. breakfast milk was spoiled and so were waffles. Didn't try it again. Ceiling in room leaked after a rain, was offered a new room but the leak wasn't in an area that mattered to me so I declined. Overall not bad. Location was strange because there was no street sign to indicate where to turn. Also no good signage, hotel couldn't be spotted from main street. But over all, the service was great, friendly staff, room was super clean and smelled fresh. "Quality Hotel: Difficult to Find"

"Housekeeping"
Some of the Housekeeping did not speak English making it hard to express my room needs. The Bathtubs were not thoroughly clean, I found left over dirt in one tub and when my room was change, I found a nice amount of hairs in the tub. When towels were needed to shower the housekeepers tried yo give us wash cloths instead. The swimming pool was beyond […] frezzing level and the jacuzzi did eventually turn to cold water. I was there 3 nights and the we had bacon one time for the Continentel breakfast. Overall the stay was very disappointing The only good thing was the location. The room that I stayed in had a phone that did not work. The blow dryer only worked for seconds at a time. There was no toilet tissue in the room. The hot tub had so much chlorine in it my children smelt like bleach for two days. When we arrived at this hotel it looked abandon. It was dark and really hard to find, we called the front desk to get directions and the clerk was rude and not helpful. "weekend getaway"
It was a nice overnight stay, however when I booked and paid for my room it was for double occupancy and when I got to the hotel they had change my reservation to a King size stated that the hotel was almost filled to capacity. It was a bit noisey between guest running up and down the hallway and the staff talking very loudly while working (cleaning). It was clean, but a little out dated. The hallway at check in smelled like marijuana. Although I was in the non-smoking wing. We never got enough towels. The continental breakfast the coffee was warm. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay for the week there.The staff were polite and professional, the management was even helpful, our room was quite clean, and pretty quiet, with the exception of when I moved the bed, on the floor of the headboard was a dirty tampon. The continental breakfast wasn't the worst with the options given.There was an indoor […] pool/jacuzzi, and fitness room available which my wife found enjoyable. It looks like there are undergoing some slight remodeling, but nothing extensive to interrupt your stay. My stay was awful, no towels the whole trip. There was many families upset with this Baymont. Ive stayed at Baymont hotels before and did have any problems. "Under new ownership"
As it transitions to its new owners and expect the normal inconvenience of rebranding. Doors had tape with room number in it. Condition was a little dirty as they remodel. "Most Ghetto Hotel Ever"
The customer service was horrible and if you called for help you would never get it. We requested towels and a trash can on five different occasions. I asked to pick them up from the front desk but that wasn't can option. The doors were labeled and number with duct tape. The rooms didn't have trash cans. It was the hotel stay that I ever had. "What to do with the trash"
Overall, it was a place to stay for the night. Would i rerturn, probably not. Looks like they were doing some work at some point in the room as there was plaster left all over the chair in the room. In addition there was not one trash basket in the room. I felt funny leaving the trash sitting on the table and wasn't going to be there long enough to […] call and ask for one.
