Days Inn Cincinnati Sharonville - Cincinnati

We got a really good deal on this hotel from Hotels.com. The staff was efficient. The room was fairly clean, but really needed an update - our room really needed a good paint job!

My men report that both rooms had stopped up bath tub drains which afforded them the opportunity to stand in 8 inches of water while showering. The electronic door loack on room 126 was unstable at best. Every time they wanted in, they would have to solicit help from the fornt desk. The heating unit in 133 was out of control. The hotel staff were rude. The hotel is very dirty. I had a sick child who threw up in the bed, the hotel staff refused to give us clean sheets. I didn't ask them to change the sheets, just provide clean ones. One of the rooms we stayed in had a non-functioning AC unit - it was 90 degrees outdoors. We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. Ash took care of us and made us feel like we were his only guests. It was close to Kings Island, clean and quiet. Beds were very comfortable. I have not stayed in a hotel in such bad shape before. It is really old and not kept up. Our carpet was damp throughout, holes in the wall, blanket had holes in it, room smelled bad, hallway was very hot, dead bugs on the floor and one live bug in the bathroom and the whole hotel was very dirty. I booked 6 rooms for 21 people at this hotel. Here is a list of the problems with the accommodations. - I was charged an additional $84.50 in addition to what I had paid to hotels.com - Bedbugs (yes, bedbugs) - Fluid stained mattresses - Cigarette burns in the mattress - Cigarette ashes on the pillowcases - Water damage on the ceiling and walls I […] asked for the name of the manager and was given several different names. the hall to the room had heavy smell of smoking and our room was non smoking but it could still smell from the hall. And the cleanliness of the room isn't great! Will not go back there again.

We should not pay hotel rates for a motel like this. My body still hurts from the matress' springs. I asked for a king size room, they assignmed me to a room for handicapped. The halls were filled with standing water from where the ice machines were draining onto the floor. The bathroom was dirty. We had a dirty crusty blanket in our room, we took the blanket to the front desk to get an exchange, the attendant REFUSED to exchange it stating that the linen room was locked. Requested my money back and was told he could not […] do that. I had to sleep without a blanket. The pool was dirty! The railing to get in and out of the pool was loose and very rusty. The hotel was adequate for a brief stay. The complementary continental breakfast was the only real amenity the hotel offers.

The hotel was good for what I needed it for. Sleep! I only stayed one night. However, if the situation were different and all the other hotels weren't booked...I would have stayed somewhere else.

In general the place was not clean.The room was OK,but the hallways were filthy and needed new rugs.

Of all the hotels I've visited across the country, this was the worst I've ever experienced. The room was uncomfortable, the beds were uncomfortable, and the management was not helpful/did not honor simple requests (e.g for enough towels for the people stayingn in the room). NO one ever brought us towels after we called asked them. hotel was disgusting we will never stay in a days inn ever again.

I was very pleasantly suprised by this hotel! The surroounding area wasn't the best, but it was right off the highway. The room was very clean with plenty of linens and very good cable. I would recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a decent room for fairly cheap.

I was very pleased with the whole experience at The Days Inn! I would tell anybody to stay there!

other than being a little dated the hotel was what we needed for the money, very clean,very important, and always had a fresh cleaning smell when we came and went. we stayed for two nights, did not get to use the pool due to weather but looked in very good shape and would have been nice to use. the cont. breakfast also would have been good, but we did […] not have time to wait on a few of the families in front of us, not their fault, so we had to go. very well located to manson where we were going to. i would recommend and will problably look it up again next yr. The customer service of this hotel is the worst of anywhere I have stayed. We checked in and the drain in the hotel didn't work. My wife pulled it out and it was full of a hair. Lots of hair. We told the hotel staff and they said it must be our hair, even though we had not taken a shower yet. There was a very large group of people that showed up on […] a bus and were being very loud. We complained to the front desk and they did nothing. We then asked to be moved to a room farther away and they wouldn't do it because we were only staying one more day. Then I had my GPS stolen out of my car. Not that I really think that is the Hotels problem, but I went to the front desk to tell them about it, hoping they would at least contact the police for me and they said it wasn't their problem and that they didn't want the police there. When I got there I had to ask for clean linens. They were dirty, but the beds had been made. the room was not very clean at all.

Hotel rooms were below average in cleanliness and upkeep

the room was very clean, well maintained. my only complaint is that i couldn't get internet access in my room.

The room we booked at this hotel was nice, especially for the price we paid. The only problem is that the breakfast selection was not the greatest by any means, but it was right across from a Waffle House. Even though we had nonsmoking room, as soon as door was opened, very strong smoke smell. They were quick to respond to any needs.

The hallways were kind of narrow and drab but the room was large, clean and comfy. The breakfast was just fine -- cereal and fruit, juice and coffee -- the basics. The pool looked great but I didn't have time to try it. For the price, it was a wonderful place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone.

The only issue I have noticed with ALL the hotels & motels in Ohio, the staff needs to know how to get to the area attractions.
