We were here for Family Day and Graduation at Ft. Jackson. The hotel was clean and close to the base and lots of dining places. The staff was friendly. We stayed here because it was convenient to the Williams-Brice Stadium. Our check in was quick and easy (and the lady was very nice, she gave us suggestions on cabs and a shuttle to the stadium.) It's an older hotel but for the price we paid and to stay one night after the Kenny Chesney concert, it was perfect. It was clean and the staff was nice and helpful.

The sinks were in bad shape, lamps didn't work, no tray in microwave. Needed TLC.

The sinks still needs to be replaced. I read a review two years ago before staying there that they were in the process of replacing the sinks. Needs someone to check on housekeeping and a little TLC in maintenance.

I really enjoyed this hotel. The service was excellent. I needed something faxed to me and the desk clerk brought the fax to my room. My stay there was wonderful.

Awesome breakfast, great and helpful staff. Great directions from the staff to where I wanted to go. Housekeepers did a most excellent job. Would definitely return and stay again if I needed to

We all found disgusting things in the rooms. Breakfast tasted horrible. Attendants were not kind. If you are looking for a clean place this is NOT it.

The bed was truly uncomfortable, the sink was cracked up. The worst part, was finding dirty underwear behind the ironing board. That tells how much they really clean, because if they would have moved the ironing board to vacuum they would saw that. Grateful, that it was close to Ft Jackson, but never will stay there again.

Our stay was fine. The only real issue I had was with the tile in the shower. It needed to be cleaned better, the was mold in the grout on the walls. There was also no vetilation in the bathroom which could be the reason for the mold.

For my short stay the hotel was great the room was clean. They could do better with the bathroom. The oddest thing I saw was the coffeemaker in the bathroom that is unsanitary to me but anyway it's a ok hotel for a short trip.

Had to get a room in this hotel due to all the hotels in Augusta being booked for the "Masters" Walls are a little thin, could hear the neighbor's child carrying on, we were guessing he/she slept all day and was ready to go that night. Other than that, stay was ok.

I traveled from MN to see my husband graduate from Basic Training and was here for 3 nights. everything was great but when we went to the pool, the outside sliding doors were open and it was only 40 degrees outside. other than that we enjoyed our stay and would return.

When I got to the hotel, mind you I had already paid in full for my stay, they try to charge me another $128.50 . They have claim it was a mistake of a new trainee but I found it weird how they made the same mistake twice with my sister inlaw. Hotel was a little bit to old as in roomwise.

Hotel was fine and the breakfast is great. It needs a little updating and the beds are extremely hard.

The outside of the Hotel is maintained but inside need a face lift. The stay was ok, the rooms were clean and linen were clean. Those were a definite plus for me.

Hotel wasn't bad, could use some srpucing up. (Lots of cracked tiles, the headboards were mounted really high on wall) The mattresses feel like they need to be replaced.. If you are looking for a hotel close to Fort Jackson at a reasonable price this did the trick. It was about a 5-10 min drive to the base and the hotel is right off the highway and easy to find. The rooms were bigger than average and clean enough. The toilet seat could have been replaced and the windows washed better, but all in all it was a great place […] for the price. The staff was very friendly and helpful. One thing is if you go when it's cold, you will not want to use the "indoor" pool. It is enclosed, but there are 2 doors on each side that do not close, so you get gusts of the cold air inside the pool enclosure. That was another downfall. I would stay here again though. If your going to fort Jackson it's great location you are right off the interstate all you have to do is jump back on 77 and go up 2 exits and your there but the beds were hard as a rock felt like I was sleeping on plywood!

The location and price were right. The continental breakfast was good, but the hotel was old and well used. The room and most of the hotel could have been cleaner. Forget the pool, unless you like polar bear swims. It's basically outside.

I was in town for events at Ft Jackson. The hotel was conveniently located to post and to several restaurants. The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating. The only real issue I had was with the condition of the rooms. They were clean, but well worn. The Hotel is very dated and needs upgrades to the linens,spreads, restroom,TV's. The color of the building was a bright yellow. It sticks out like a sore thumb. Garment cart was nasty and torn up.

For the price, I expected a little more. The room I requested was non-smoking. But the room I had was filled with a smoke smell. Not very clean and the customer service was substandard.

The hotel was AWFUL! We booked it for our family of 4 because of its indoor pool. However, their "indoor" pool is in a room with 2 sections (floor to ceiling and about 6-feet wide) that are wide open. It was FREEZING! We could not even walk into the room without shivering let alone allow the kids to be wet with the cold outside air blowing on them! […] They should not be allowed to book this as an indoor pool! We asked the front desk if there was anything they could do about it- and they said "no." The room itself was SO RUN DOWN! There was MOLD inside the refridgerator and bath tub! There were large tears in the comforter, chair, blankets, towles, and bed skirts! The breakfast (which ends at 9 a.m.- seriously- who has EVER heard of breakfast ending that early?!?) was very minimal with little selection. We got there at 8:30. By the time we went for seconds (about 15 minutes later)- the staff was already cleaning up and had refused to allow the people in line in front of us to eat- saying they were already "closed." The hotel was great overall. Rooms were clean, breakfast was good, plenty of parking. The hotel does need some upgrades. Some of the doors were cracked and broken and whoever painted it needs to be trained better. Splatter all over the place. Other than some of the maintenance issues, I'd definitely stay there again.
