Staying at the Arion Vouliagmeni was like being on an island, even though so close to Athens. The bungalows are fabulous, and anything sea-facing is great. Staff seemed a bit overrun though, the beach waiter was running a marathon back & forth. Beach could have used some cleaning up. Very comfortable hotel with beautiful views over the sea and surrounding area. Excellent breakfast with wide variety of hot and cold food. All the staff we encountered were very efficient, helpful and pleasant. The hotel is a little isolated but within a short walk there are a numerous Tavernas. A taxi from the hotel to the centre of Athens costs around […] 23 Euros although the hotel offers a free shuttle bus but unfortunately it only goes at 09.00 with the return at 17.30. Because of the time of the year November we did not use the swimming pool or beach facilities that are available, but they did appear to be first class. We would certainly recommend staying at the hotel but be aware that it is a good 30 min taxi ride both into Athens.and the airport. Lisätietoja

It is a very good hotel except for paying of the indoor swimming pool. It is not logical to pay 25 Euros per person per day while you will only use for 2 hours. if we are a family of 4 it means we pay 100 euros daily.

The lobby and common areas are nice. The room we were in was worn, stains on the furniture and carpet, broken light switches, little things but for what you pay here you should expect better. It was perfect in every way apart from arriving with missing luggage and spending the first three days missing our personal items! The staff were extremely friendly and highly professional. We will never forget the attention we received from the staff and their steadfast commitment to bringing our baggage issue to a resolution with the various authorities. […] A tip of the hat to the reception staff, Thanos, Athina, Maria, and Vivi. Thanks for helping this mother traveling with a toddler have a fantastic beach/yoga retreat while her son was so wonderfully engaged in the hotel's Kid's Club, playground, pool and beach! Nothing beat waking up to a peaceful and quiet sunrise coffee from the balcony of the hotel room and the sunset yoga I practiced on various cliffs overlooking the sea on the grounds of the hotel complex. The hotel complex is perfectly situated away from the busy city centre and although Athens is a beautiful city, it;s nice to be out on the coast of the Athenian Riviera. The hotel oozes 5 star luxury and is spotless throughout. The reception area is large and beautiful with polite and efficient staff to check you in. Our room was on the lower floor […] with a stunning view of the sea and pool area. There is a small private beach to side of the pool with sun loungers that sit on the sand, inches from the water. Amazing. The restaurant serves a delicious breakfast buffet with stacks of everything you could ask for and main meals and salads are full of flavour using fresh, local ingredients. Went for 4 days and enjoyed every day of it. Gladly would recommend it to every type of person. Great resort hotel within easy reach of Athens. We stayed during the Easter break. The only disappointing aspect was that the pool ( a main selling feature when we booked) was closed and empty. We were offered the use of the spa pool however when we went to use we were asked to pay 80 euro for the 4 of us! Suggest checking before you book.

This Hotel is a must tobe included in someones ....CV. Its position and views, especially in the afternoons are breathtaking. But it is an overpriced giant that urgently needs a facelift. We had problems with the A/C system on the first day and had trouble communicating with the proper service when required. The room was comfortable, very clean and […] the Bathroom space was excelent. Breakfast was as to be expected from a Hotel of this caliber. The Gym was well equiped but some of the system were not working. Surpricingly the Swimming Pool was of sea water. Generally this area needs renovation. We also had a run in with the US Foreign Minister Mrs Clinton and some other VIP visitors. There was a lot of security around both Hotels which was to be expected. The Restaurants within the Hotel and in the general area are 5 Star such as the Al-Fresco and Ithaki. Lisätietoja

As an American, it is difficult to evaluate a European hotel against our standards. I qualify everything I say with this note... I think that the hotel reminded me of a 'once glamorous' American hotel... seemed dated by American standards. There were many aspects of the lobby area that would have made it a 3 star American experience; but according to […] the Greeks, this place is the best in Athens. We were comfortable and felt that the bed, bathrooms were nice and clean. We thought the service was efficient and friendly... but not at an American level. For instance, we were seated at breakfast one morning and no one approached our table for 15 minutes... unusual. We went to the pool in the afternoon and all the towels were used and strewn about; no fresh towels.. and no one in sight to provide any. Next day, when we went to the pool, there were no fresh towels for 20 minutes. When someone finally brought some, they offered towels to only 1 of the 3 people that were lying by the pool (with no towels).. very unusual. I found the initial entrance to the lobby to be dated, with weird rubber floor mats, etc... just did not have presence. Other than these things, the rest of the hotel was on par for a 4 star American experience... We ate one evening at the Grill room and I thought the meal was below average for a hotel of this supposed stature. Lisätietoja

The Westin hotel gives the impression of being in a vessel because of its location at the end of the Vouliagmeni peninsula. The view is really impressive. The architecture and decoration, modern and very tasty is discrete and very clear. We would recommend to ask for a room in a higher floor level because of the noise of the swimming pool. Generally this is a well managed hotel with very good facilities however there are two problems: 1. the hotel is at least 40 minutes drive from central athens and the historic sites. At peak times traffic makes this journey even longer. The hotel runs a free bus service which is great but not very frequent.Taxis would be at least 25 euros one way. 2. […] The cost of the xtras meals drinks etc in the hotel is stratospheric even for a hotel of this quality - 18 euros for a G&T ! Incredibly lovely, incredibly expensive sequestered resort/hotel. Service was wonderful, the room fantastic, the swimming pool huge and bordering the sea. However, we were awoken at 4:30 in the morning by a severely leaking air conditioner. It was evident that this was not the first time that the air conditioner had leaked because there was a rust stain […] the same size as the metal trashcan we used on the same spot to catch the water. Maintenance arrived quickly, fixed the leak and left water all over the floor. When we checked out that day, the management did offer us a free night at another one of their resorts. Lisätietoja

Prachtig hotel met fenominale ligging aan mooie baai. Dicht bij bezienswaardigehden van Athene (20 km en erg gemakkelijk te bereiken) en luchthaven. Goede service en perfecte kamers. Uitzicht vanaf terassen is prachtig. Alle kamers zijn zeezicht. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding is in orde. Uitstekende restuarant on site. Prijs van drankjes in hotel zijn […] ver boven de norm voor dit gebeid. Echt te duur en niet in verhouding. Wij hadden een duurdere kamer op de executive floor geboekt tegen een niet geringe meerprijs. het enige voordeel hiervan was een hoger gelegen kamer maar voor de rest geen enkel voordeel. Dat zou ik dus niet boeken, want dat heeft geen meerwaarde en behoeft dus ook niet te worden betaald. Volgens hotel zou dan het uitzicht beter zijn, maar alle kamers hebben hetzelfde uitzicht. Geen noemenswaardig strand maar prima zwembad direct aan zee met ook ingang in zee direct van een groot betonnen terras. Ook voor de standgangers een perfecte mogelijheid, echter geen zand aan de voeten. Lisätietoja

Wie kann man akzeptieren, dass ein 5 Sterne Luxus Hotel Käfigeier zum Frühstück serviert - das billigste Schrottei auf Europa´s Markt und oben drein Gesundheitsgefaehrdend. Man sollte in jedem Fall Hotels, die diese Eier offerieren von der Liste nehmen. Es ist eine Zumutung !!!!

Flott hotell beliggende med nydelig utsikt. Deilig og variert frokostmeny. Svært hjelpsom betjening. OK treningsrom. Eneste negative er at det er lang avstand til resteuranter, shopping og sightseeing.
