Quality Inn I-40 & I-17 - Flagstaff

This was stop #2 on my way across country last weekend. I found the location and the Hotel to be extremely beautiful. The Quality Inn certainly deserves it's title: my room was pristine, spacious and totally comfortable. Staff was most helpful, and added extras to my stay. This hotel is pretty ancient. The hallway looks like a roller coaster. Smelled old. Find another place.

Our stay was great. The room was pretty clean and comfortable, though they do need a little work. Their breakfast was pretty good and decent. Overall was a grood stay.

Clean, quiet, friendly front desk people, nice complimentary breakfast.

This hotel was within walking distance to many restaurants, a Target, etc. The staff were very friendly, the room was clean, the shower had great water pressure, and the beds were comfortable. Definitely worth the money.

It is nice clean and the staff is highly trained and friendly. The hotel is worth the price.

We do not know how the rating for the hotel was so high. The carpets were dirty, the bed sheets looked like some body already slept in them before and the mattress had no support. We will not stay there again. It was not even cheap to stay there. You might as well stay at Motel 6 and pay $30 less.

Paint choice is not attractive, but the breakfast is delicious. Also, the desk people were friendly and kind when handing out towels for the pool.

We stayed at the Quality Inn I-40 and 17 in Flagstaff because it is a good hub for visiting Sedona, Grand Canyon, Tuba City. But we also found many interesting sites in the immediate Rt. 66 Flagstaff area.

very nice hotel for your vacation in Flagstaff, we enjoyed our stay and rates are reasonable. The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful , we would stay there again for sure.

After a long drive this hotel was in a convenient location to the freeway and comfortable

The hotel is old. Carpets in the room were dirty. The room did not have an AC. There was a block of wood near the window to keep it open. The room was very stuffy. Only heaters even in 75 degree temp.. We were having difficulty with the regulator to start the ac only to be informed that it did not have one. They sent a big fan in less than 5 mins. Y […] would we use the heater more than that keep the windows open for fresh air. They should voluntarily keep the fan in the room to lessen inconvenience to travelers travelling long distances. Bfast is on the lower level. the bfast room is upstairs. You have to come down and go up every time you want more juice, bread etc. There are no elevators. Better to avoid that town altogether

We did not care for this motel and will stay there again. We did not like the building or rooms.

We have stayed at this property on previous visits to Flagstaff, and I'm sorry to say the quality of this hotel has gone way done from our last stay in November,2010. The condition of our room was at best adequate, the room temp at 11:00pm was 90 dgrs, because as the front desk told us they make they decided it was going to be cold that evening, so […] they turned off the a/c and turned on the heat. I would think in late may, even in Flagstaff, the guest should decide if they want heat, or as in our case, a/c. We were brought a box fan and told to :open our window". That in it self has made me decide never to stay at this Quality Inn. There were a number of other issues with the property, but suffice it to say, we will not be returning to this hotel! When you see the sign for this motel, coming northbound off of I-17, stop because you have to turn in to the driveway just before the sign. The carport is pink, which my daughter loved. The overall room was ok, a little outdated but not bad. I did not hear our neighbors at all. The only bad thing I have to say about the room is the AC didn't do it's […] job. We had it cranked down to 40 and it was still 80+ the next morning only to find out that outside it was about 50. You may want to open the window overnight instead of using the AC. Only other complaint about the motel was the pool was empty. Normally this wouldn't be a big issue but we booked the motel on the basis of having a pool-oops! Not a bad motel if you only need a night's sleep. The breakfast the next morning was adequate only complaint there was tiny muffins. Afternoon staff was more than helpful. Lisätietoja

this hotel was good value for money, bathroom was small, but apart from that it was absolutely fine for our stay in flagstaff. it's not in the downtown area but only a short drive away. i woudl recommend this place. you also get a free breakfast which wwas nice.

Parking lot can be difficult to access, have to drive through a gas station to get there and then it runs one way around the building. Not a lot of parking spaces so we couldn't get close to our most convenient entry door.

The staff of the hotel were quality people who worked very hard to insure that guests were treated with courteousness regarding their needs. The staff served an incredible daily breakfast, were friendly and affable in every respect. The cleaning crew was attentive to persons in the room, and did a great job while they were absent to make up the rooms. […] Plus, the hotel desk staff accomodated any or most requests if possible. Nice place, but the heater in my room did not work well at all. I was freezing all night. ALso, it would be nice if breakfast started at 6 instead of 7am.

First, this hotel is a bit tricky to find, do not take the street on the left side of the gas station, you have to enter via the gas station and go up the ramp on its left, so it is directly behind the station. Great location, close to restaurants and busy street but quiet hotel, we did not hear the trains at all. Breakfast included, the best is to […] take a tray and bring it back to your room as the lobby is not a dining (or "breakfasting" !) place. Nice size rooms, clean. I would say the "bad experience" I had was that the air system is not perfect, the first evening we could smell some neighbours smoking in their room (even though it is a smoke free hotel) and after 5 am it was like sleeping in a kitchen, with all the greasy smells, even though we were 2 rooms from being the furthest from the kitchen. If you like to stay in noisy dumps, this place is for you. And if you have dogs, bring them. They will have lots of company here.

The location of the hotel was fine - right off the freeway and close to restaurants. Unfortunately, the bathroom had not been cleaned - there was hair on the toilet and in the bathtub. Pretty disgusting! Won't stay there again.

Hotel was older but very clean and staff was friendly. The room was nice, clean, and spacious. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Sink outside. Breakfast was okay with hot scrambled egss and sausage as well as cold foods such as bagels, pastries, yoghurt, and fruit.. The staff was quick to replenish the food. It was akward to manuever breakfast trays […] and climb to the breakfast room one floor above. But once there the seating was comfortable. The only problem was that there were not enough outlets in the room. No lifts, which might be a problem for the elderly or others in taking luggage up a flight of stairs. I would stay here again, the room was clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was good, with both hot and cold items. The clerks at the front desk were abit indifferent, but not impolite. Very close to NAU, and the I-40/I-17. Good value for the price we paid.

Very nice, fun lobby. The breakfast was great.

This was our second stay at the Quality Inn I-40 & I-17 as we traveled between NM and CA. We were so satisfied with our previous stay that we decided to stay there again on our return trip. The location is very convenient to both major freeways, yet there was no freeway noise to disturb our sleep. There were several restaurants within walking distance, […] and the hotel provided a complimentary breakfast with hot and cold breakfast items. First - let me say, this is not the Ritz. It is an older hotel that needs more updating than what they've apparently done already. It was obvious that the carpet in our room was pretty new. The tub was stained. I never could figure out the a/c system, so it was pretty stuffy in the room overnight. The bed really needs a new mattress. But all of the […] linens were very clean - and it was really quiet. There was nothing DIRTY - it's just been well used. It was fine for the overnight stay that we'd reserved - and I would stay there again. For the price that we paid, I felt like we got a pretty good deal. But - I do feel that the front desk personnel should be wearing nicely pressed uniform shirts. They were cotton button downs...and the two folks working the desk the night we checked in looked really rumpled. This hotel is right off the freeway, and easy to get to. It is at a central location, not too close to the campus, but not far. This is def a recommendable hotel!

We spent one night at the Quality Inn I-40 & I-17 on our way from southern California to New Mexico. The location of the hotel was very convenient to the freeways we were traveling on. Check-in went smoothly, and the staff was very welcoming. The room was comfortable with working A/C and a good shower. (The pillows were very small, but that didn't stop […] us from getting a good night's sleep.) The beds were ok for one night. The front desk attendant was unresponsive when asked details about the breakfast, which was good. The restroom in the lobby had feces smeared on the floor. Unbelievable that no one noticed that.
