Stayed for 5 nights and can recommend it! Value for money in Manhattan. Very spacious room, plenty of room for 3 women to stay (big beds) and for 6 pieces of luggage and all shopping. Good location, short walk to the nearest subway (columbus circle) and walking distance to central park and even Times Square. Lots of cafes, restaurants and shops nearby. […] Nice area. Reception and cleaning staff very friendly. We got a late check out at 2pm when we asked for it cos our flight was in the evening. Clean rooms, bathroom and beds, except the carpet should be changed; prepare with slippers :) Only negative feedback I have is the smell in the corridor and in the room, too. Hotel was changing the carpet in the corridor and it smelled very moldy. Room didn't smell as bad but it wasn't fresh either. We kept the window open all the time, it helped but we needed to wash all our new clothes when we got home because they we're smelling bad. The smell didn't bother sleeping or anything, so, it was ok since we stayed out every day from 9am to 9pm. If your window is towards the street, it can be a bit noisy during morning traffic, I recommend ear plugs. This didn't bother us, it's the same everywhere in Manhattan anyway :) Lisätietoja

Holiday Inn on 57th street is a big hotel only a couple of blocks away from Central Park and subway. You get what you expect from Holiday Inn, but in a bit worn out fashion. Carpets, wall papers, some tiles etc. need to be replaced. Lobby and the bar are quite bearable, and the breakfast area even nice (good service there too). Corridors have the freshener […] smell covering the real odour. The room was spacious, rare in NYC. Bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom were clean. On the other hand wireless was sluggish at times, the old TV really hadn't even tolerable signal, furniture were somewhat shabby and thin walls didn't stop the noise from the other rooms. Ask for a room facing the rather unpleasant backyard, if you know that the traffic disturbs you. Rooms on that side are really rather quiet (if you have good neighbours). Service was ok, good in bar & restaurant, a tad ignorant on front desk and with luggage. Concierge service was very nice and they help with transportation too. It was very easy to hail a cab to midtown direction when I needed it. Most often there was at least one waiting. It is not a stylish hotel, but if you value spacious room close to the Midtown Manhattan, and get a good price, this may just be the right one for you. For business travellers there are better options and if you plan to spend a lot of time at the hotel, look elsewhere. Lisätietoja

Enjoyed our stay. Didn't spend too much time in the hotel room. The hotel hosted the meetings that brought me to town. The meeting rooms were very nice and convenient.

Was surprised at the size of the beds - not seen beds that small in an American hotel room before, especially as there was plenty of room for bigger ones - we had booked the room for 3 adults - two in a bed was cosy!

Very nice hotel. Walking distance to most everywhere we needed to be. The room was remarkably quiet! Would stay there again.

This is a convenient location for Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, and all that midtown has to offer. Hotel rooms are big for New York City, and the rates are reasonable for this area. I will stay here again.

Concierge and hotel staff were wonderful and friendly. The hotel dining room gave us our bill with gratuity added and then, after presenting a credit card to them, produced a receipt with the exact same amount shown as pre-gratuity price. This happened both times we ate there.

Great hotel in a superb location. Renovations are underway and the hotel will be much nicer once it is completed. Staff is nice and helpful. Only issue was the cleanliness of the bathroom.

This is a nice tourist hotel close to many mid town NYC attractions. The staff was great. Rooms are small but OK and could use renovations. A 40" HD TV is provided with HBO but curiously no business channels. (It IS a tourist hotel I guess.) Breakfast is extra but not outrageous in price for NYC. This hotel is close to Columbus Circle. It is clean and undergoing renovation. The rooms are good sized for NYC, but the beds are small and the mattresses very hard. Bathroom was small and outdated. Service staff very helpful and pleasant.

Nice hotel , rooms had two double beds and were spacious, clean and well looked after. Quick efficient check in and nice staff. Hotel has a shop, restaurant ,bar and gym. Each level has either a soda machine or alternatively an ice machine. Location is ten minutes from times square ir ten to fifteen from port authority bus terminal. Rooms have shower/ […] bath. Filter coffee machine restocked daily. 40 inch lcd tv with 50 channels. Beds are comfortable and there is achoice of pillows.restaurant us nice but nothing overly special. This hotel was very nice and clean. It was very close to the 59 St / Columbus Circle subway station which made navigating the city very easy. I would definitely stay here again!

The location of the hotel and price are fine, but the service and cleanliness left plenty to be desired. When we arrived in the morning, there was a dirty room service tray with old food on it in the hallway. It was still there when we returned to the hotel after dinner and wasn't removed until we called to complain. After we checked out, we realized we left an item in the room, but the housekeeping staff did not help in finding it. Bed wasn't super comfy and the coffee was terrible but overall it was great. The only major issue was that our 6 year old rolled in her sleep and was pinned between the bed and the nightstand. She got out but was scared a bit.

Checked in like 4am on Sunday morning the clerk was rude and highly annoying. Definitely won't stay there again

This is a decent, clean, hotel with comfortable rooms in a central location to walk to almost anything. I was there for a tradeshow at Pier 94 which was a 10 minute walk. About 200 small restaurants and delis in a 3 block radius.

This is a very well rounded hotel, with great location good staff, decent amenities. It's clean and has everything you could want for a New York stay. The rooms are very big for NYC standards.

I was amazed by the size of the room which was very large for a city room. Plenty of room to store luggage as well as space to leisurely lounge. I would definitely stay in this hotel again.

Room was clean and comfortable. We ate breakfast in the hotel dining room, which was reasonably priced. The staff were efficient, but curt. Not out to win friends or influence people. Overall a OK experience.

You get what you paid for. It's a cost effective place to stay in the city, and it works well as such. The location is great since you're a block from the Columbus Circle station and can get anywhere in the city with ease. I've stayed at swanky NYC hotels, which feel great, but if you just need a place to sleep & shower, this is worth it.
