Erinomainen sijainti - helppo liikkua sekä jalan että metrolla, useita metrolinjoja menee läheltä ja ympäristössä paljon hyviä aamiaispaikkoja. Huone oli vähän nuhjuinen ja kaipaisi jo pintaremonttia, mutta sänky, petivaatteet ja pyyheliinat olivat hyviä. Kaikki muu hyvin, mutta hotellin available wi-fi maksullinen, viereisten kahviloiden verkot näkyivät hotellin aulaan - niitä käytettiin. Ei tätä päivää. Free wi-fi by next door cafe's, not hotel's. Not wise.

Sijainti erinomainen. Huone oli hiljainen ja sänky oli hyvä. Kylpyhuone OK. Vähän nuhruista. Huone olisi tarvinnut isompaakin pintaremonttia. Ei tilaa aamujogaan.

The room was very nice. Clean and comfy. In the middle of everything, and very secure and safe. It was currently under construction when I went, so there was no room service, elevators were very slow and there was no express checkout. We were terribly disappointed in not being notified that the hotel was under MAJOR renovation. The main lobby was closed, no ice machine, no business office, no room service. In a word, nightmare! For the price we paid, whcih was no great bargin we felt cheated.

Recently updated room, modern decor, top fixtures, friendly service, very clean, across from Carnegie Hall, short walk to Central Park, museums. Will stay here next time in New York.

Hotel was outdated and beds and rooms were surface clean but not really clean. Room smelled like moth balls. Also very noisy - noise in halls starting at 7 am.

Not a nice place to stay. It's dingy and used hard. Smells weird too. The only thing it has going for it is its location.

Barely slept because of a jack hammer outside my room at 6:30 in the morning. Checked in late the night before and the hotel clerk said nothing about hotel construction outside my room. Then the next morning all they would do is apologize for the inconvenience.

Hotel under redurbisment no facilties room only grab and go breakfast which was expencive cheaper to go outside. Hotel will be brilliant when finished but this did not help us.

I've stayed at this hotel many times, and always go back to it for location and price. As far as NYC hotels, the rooms beat all others in this price point. I was disappointed to learn upon arrival that the lobby was closed, as well as the restaurant and bar, due to renovation. This also meant no room service. The hotel is going through extensive renovation work; There is no reception, there is barely a concierge, no dining facilities nor room service or gym or whatever. I think the hotel is in a great location. I think that the rooms could have been cleaner. It could have been from the renovations. I will give it another chance after the renovations are done.

The rooms are good size for Manhattan and were clean, except for the grout in the bathtub. We did not hear any noise from the renovation. The location is terrific!

The expensive single bed room faced an ugly light weel on the 17th floor. No sun or views. Could not shut off the loud fan coil unit at the window. No window screen. The shower was older dirty tile floor and small in size with very small sink. The lobby is under construction. I rate this 1 star of 5 stars. Would never go back.

The location was the most convenient available, but remodeling diminished the services (lobby and restaurant closed). Not the best value as a result.

Hotel was perfect, room was beautifully refurbished and modern, staff was friendly and helpful. Totally quiet and comfortable. Great location. The price was phenomenally good for this upscale hotel in NYC.

Great location. Would be a terrific place to stay when renovations are complete. Extremely unhappy that hotels.com did not note that the hotel was undergoing renovations when I booked. The construction is not a big issue, and the lack of any restaurant or other services closed due to construction was an issue. It was fine....some little points- needed to re plenished the caffeinated coffee packet the second day , and the heat turned on in the middle of the night making the room too hot- had to open the window to sleep. Otherwise fine.

For my first trip to New York, I didn't have a lot of time. The location was great, staff was friendly and courteous. The only time I noticed the renovation was coming and going, as it was through side door. I'll be staying there again.

It would have been fine if they warned us that there would be guys working next door and playing loud music while they worked on the hotel. Our room and bathroom were clean and very comfortable otherwise. The location was great - two blocks from Central Park.

My wife and I greatly appreciate the surprise upgrade for her 50th birthday. It made the whole stay awesome! The only two down points were that the TV in the master bedroom didn't work so we slept in the guest. It also took close to an hour to get our car. We called before hand but the message never got to the valets.

Not a whole lot of welcoming feeling here. Ugly lobby. Tour groups sprawled all over. Check-in folks that seemed gleeful at making me wait. Four agents behind the counter, I'm the only one checking in , no eye contact or acknowledgement, for 5 minutes. The room was fine. Renovations seemingly on all 6 sides of my room started at 9. Convenient location to the subway and great view of Times Square. However, Times Square is simply so glaring and flashy that you should be prepared for that if your room faces in that direction (I drew my window shade all evening). Overall, no qualms about my stay.

Disaster of a hotel right now, I'd strongly suggest staying away until remodeling is complete. First, the nice lobby and restaurant you see in the Hotel.com's preview doesn't exist. I was […] on vacation with my son and really didn’t give it a second thought. The actual room was small even for NYC standards, older décor, but clean. But what really upset me was they gave us a room on the 5th floor directly below the 6th floor they were demolishing. Are you kidding me! I went back to my room after a big day of walking around central park and checking out the sites to a demo crew smashing apart the walls and bathroom titles in the room directly above ours. I couldn’t stay in my room nor could I hang out in the lobby since there was no lobby. It was sooo bad it was actually comical. Only complaint was the hotel is under construction and notification of that was nowhere to be found until we checked in. Everything okay except for starting construction before 8am on Monday morning. Staff were wonderful. Hotel was clean, some items such as rug a little worn, hence under renovations.

Although I asked for a King Bed, upon checking in and going to room I was given two double beds. I was told reservations through Hotel.com were not guaranteed for room type. Very disappointed. Also while the location of the hotel is great, they are updating the look and in the transition the overall look was just ok.

It's an ok hotel . The vending machines do not work o. Any of the floors .. other than that one night is good to stay any more days.not recommend. But let's see after they renovate maybe it'll be better .
