Right at the Marina Great Helpful staff Highly recommend tis hotel for the price

All I have to say is, "do not stay here". The title if this post says it all. Very poor condition, loud street noise and dirty conditions and lastly, yes I woke up with a spider bite.

The outside of Ramada was unimpressive - somewhat rundown, but the room was perfect for the needs of two. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. I have absolutely no complaints about the room. Internet access was spotty and breakfast was a carb fest. This hotel was overpriced for what it was. I've stayed in comparatively priced hotels that far surpassed the quality of this establishment. The room was cramped and had gnats flying all around it. The air conditioning unit was noisy. Our room was on the 1st floor and I actually felt like we were in the basement. The concrete hallways were littered with […] cigarette butts. This hotel was for a one night stay only with family for a vacation. We stayed the first two nights closer to Legoland. I like the location of this hotel since it's relatively close to the marina/bay. We enjoy walking the bay, eating at Anthonys Grotto, and the USS Arizona Museum. The hotel itself was just okay. It was dated, the toilet was with the shower so closing the door was a slight tight, and the water drained slowly. We didn't try out the pool but it seemed decent enough. I didn't check out the fitness area although my intention was to use it. The breakfast was okay too. The waffles aren't bad at all. Check-in took longer than i wouldve liked it to especially with my 5 year old being a bit inpatient. The young lady at the front desk was sincere about me having to wait, so that was nice. Of course I know it's out of her hand when she is working with picky customers and she was very polite and professional working with the lady I was waiting on. Overpriced; for what I paid, I expect more from a hotel with the Ramada name. Overall impression was one of a musty and dated hotel. Room was clean, but very small and noisy with the air conditioner running. Too much street noise to keep the windows open; not to mention the view of the ugly adjacent building and the old bathtubs lying about the alley […] below. Fitness room is very limited-one each, bike treadmill, and step machine; no weights or mats. this hotel has easy access to everything yet you feel like you are in a calmer part of the town, the rooms have comfy beds and are clean, i have always felt safe at this hotel, there is a free breakfast is better than most other continental breakfasts

Our 2 rooms was located right next to the front door and they were tearing up the stairwell up to the 2nd floor cocktail lounge. We had to call the front desk and find out when the noise would stop! Booked this hotel at the last minute but I was very satisfied for the price. The rooms are surprisingly spacious. There was some construction noise during the day but at night it was very quiet even with the window open.

Very comfortable stay. New furniture old smelling building and it is very very small. Location is very bad if you on vacation for the beach. This is a Great location if fishing and on a tight budget. Good breakfast and wonderful helpful staff

I stayed here one night. Wanted to be close to the Navy base. It was a few blocks. Room was small but I only needed to sleep there. The staff is quite friendly and helpful! I'd do it again

Clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff was very accommodating and courteous. I would definitely stay there again.

Room was small but clean and comfy. Bathroom was very small. Hotel clerk was very helpful and nice.

This hotel was as expected for the price. Room was clean and adequate. Breakfast was GREAT! We were only there one night, so spent little time in the neighborhood - but walked around the waterfront and had a snack at Point Loma Foods.

Shower in bathroom did not swivel so water onlt shot from shower head to opposing wall so washing and rinsing almost impossible.

Stayed there midweek, January 2011. Renovated hotel. Indoor corridors. Rooms on the small side, but nicely redone. Newer furniture, bathroom fixtures, and counters. The room we were shown seemed clean and the mattress was relatively comfortable. There is a work-out room near the lobby, an outdoor pool, an a comfortable mid size lobby sitting area with […] furniture that seemed clean, newer, and very comfortable. They have a relatively spacious and comfortable decent size breakfast room near the lobby with breakfast from 6:30 - 10am, in a comfortable setting which was nice to have. They have a laundry room in one of the buildings. The machines seem dated. We had to use it, and the dryer didn't do a great job after one cycle, but then we put the clothes in for another cycle and it got the job done. They've got a clean and nicely organized little convenience area where little things are for sale near the lobby with some small size snacks, sodas, travel toiletries, and other things you might have forgotten to take/buy before your trip. In case you have that craving for a mid-night snack, or remember that you forgot something, and don't want to get all dressed and have to go out somewhere to pick small things up. You pay the front desk clerk for what you buy and their prices were normal. It was a big hit with us as it's really well stocked and was a welcome perk that was right there, better than dealing with the after-hours vending machine. They have a shuttle van that can take you to the airport, and pick you up as well. It's a suburban area, so it seemed like you would need to have a car to venture out. Although, San Diego has relatively decent public transportation with their buses and trolleys, so I wouldn't be surprised if they have a bus that stops nearby them that can take you into town or to transfer to another one that could take you to where you want to go. The waterfront location of this hotel was great. The hotel itself, however, needs some significant updating. Also, the bed was quite soft and pillows were lumpy.

We enjoyed our stay, as the staff were very courteous. We had a beautiful view of the harbor from our room--especially enjoyed seeing the fresh catch of fish every morning, as my husband is a fisherman! Maid service was excellent--room was sparkling clean everyday when we returned to it. Only cons are that the door to the shower was so close to the […] toilet--you have to be skinny! The pillows were too plump for me--gave me a stiff neck. The elevator and stairway were really rundown. Other than that we were happy with our room and the service. The setup was good for the price. The room was small but had free WiFi, fridge, and microwave. Staff was nice and friendly. We stayed two nights and the first night was not peaceful due to loud guests out at the bar or parking lot late into the night. It was a decent hotel, the service was good and the price was great. I guess I got what I paid for. It was my fault for not booking early enough, I didn't realize it was labor day weekend. THe walls are thin, we could hear everything next door and even all the doors slamming down the hall. Like I said, not bad for a quick stay but not the place to stay […] for a younger crowd. this hotel is close to the airport and the ferry to coronado, restaurant and other, good location

The hotel was clean but very very small we were a family of 5 and had to pay extra to get 2 queen beds that were still not comfortable although the pillows rocked. The waffles were delicious but it lacks of a variety of breakfast items.

The fitness room had an eliptical, treadmill and stationary bike with all the bells and whistles including heart rate monitors. The pool was actually heated which was great for my swim at 9:30 PM.

We were 5 min away from Sea World and 30 min from Lego Land and 5 min from the beach. The only thing I had an issue with was the water pressure.

Our room was very clean but small. A kingsize bed took up most of the room. It did have a microwave, refrigerator, table and chairs which made it hard to move around. Quality service. Continental breakfast was fine. However, hallways smelled of cigarette smoke. Everything about the room was just old and wore; blankets, carpet, even bathroom tiles had an uncomfortable feeling to it.

Close to the city, sea world, san diego zoo and mission bay. Breakfast was great.

Our hotel stay at the Ramada Lmtd San Diego was a great experience. The location is perfect, within walking distance to restaurants and the fish market and marina are very interesting and fun. The staff went out of their way to help us on this stay. Airport/Cruise Port Shuttle was great. Continential bkfst. was nice.
