Best Western Posada Ana Inn - San Antonio

We had a great stay! The staff was wonderful, the breakfast was good and the room was very clean. I was pleasantly surprised to receive such great service and well-maintained accomodations for a very affordable price.

I have only good things to say about this hotel. The staff are very friendly, lovely hot breakfast (especially the omelettes), sufficient parking and clean rooms. Convenient location close to a gas station, Wal-Mart, local eateries, shops, car rental companies and the airport. Very good price. I can definitely recommend this hotel.

Ignore the negative reviews. Some are too demanding. This hotel is ideal for the price. The staff are all courteous and professional. Our room was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. We will stay again.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to San Antonio, TX. My family and I were very satisfied with our room and the free breakfast was pretty darn good. The staff was nice and it was conveniently located no more then 10 miles from the mall, the S.A. zoo, and many other tourist attractions. The refrigerators need to be colder, that is the only complaint that I have. Everything else is fine and I enjoyed my stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. The rates were very reasonable.They are pet friendly, clean rooms and a great free breakfast. The eggs are made to order, they also have bacon and biscuits and gravy!

This was a good hotel for the money and proximity to the airport. The breakfast was good, they even had omlets prepared to order. Overall the room was clean.

My rooms were not available by check in time. I had to wait 15 mins for the first room to be available, another 15 min for the second room to be available and an hour for the final room to be available. No rooms for my handicap mother were available in the first floor. Noone offered to help carry in my bags. the only excuse was that "members" are able […] to check out at 2pm...this of course is an unsatifactory response as I paid for my room reservations a month before when I booked the 3 rooms!!! very dissatisfied customer!! Good value for the money and close to airport with nice shuttle.

Two things I noticed: The bathroom was spotless. No mildew or mold! The comforters looked like they needed to be replaced. Other than that, for the price, definitely worth it!

We have stayed all over the state for matathons and bike events and this was by far the best we've stayed in. For once my cc wasn't charged horrible incidental fees, the continental breakfast was outstanding and the people were sssooo friendly. We've founder our new hotel of choice.

this hotel was easy reach to airport and car return. staff was friendly and rooms were great. the best part was the free breakfast with everything including cook to order eggs, omelets and breakfast tacos.

This […] hotel was a bit of an oddity from the start though. I understand that the hotel only had 2 floors, but I have never stayed in a hotel without an elevator! Naturally, our room was on the first floor! It was inconvenient because I was wearing high heels, and had to drag my luggage up and down the stairs. When my boyfriend came back from his gig, he had to haul all of his heavy equipment up to the room because there was a notice on the hotel room desk stating that there had been a high incidence of vehicle break-ins in the area. Another thing that was a little off is that the first room into which we checked, the TV did not work at all! They did let us switch rooms, so I am glad they were not sold out that night. I felt a little miffed though because the TV channel guide said that they carried the HBO channel, and there was even a weekly programming guide for HBO in the room. When I turned the channel to HBO, there was a rainbow screen, and it was blocked. Thanks a lot. Also, a policy I found strange was that the hotel told me when I checked in that if anyone smoked in or near the room, my credit card would be charged $250. We were fully aware that this was a non-smoking room in a non-smoking hotel, but that's a bit excessive! In the morning, we ate the complimentary breakfast. I did not order the omelette, so I can't comment on that. I did partake in the other items though which were pretty disgusting. The biscuit could have been used as a door stop. Location was great; you just turn off the highway and it's right there. It's right next to a Walmart and surrounded by a nice little neighborhood. The building looks small, but the inside is nice and clean. I was on the first floor so I had no trouble with noises or anything (but I had arrived on a Sunday). If you're a fellow fat boy like myself, the breakfast here will amaze you. The hand make your eggs any way you want. I was thrilled to crush down some omelets/scrambled, and hashbrowns every morning starting at 6am. Made the place well worth it.

The room was unexpected quiet. No havy noise although the hotel is located near the airport and only a few yards away from a busy interstate. Very friendly staff at reception and clean rooms. We will stay again when returning to San Antonio by airplane.

The hotel was great, the staff was very friendly, the breakfast buffet was fantastic with great service. The rooms are really nice and big and clean. Nov 2011 booked this hotel for Thanksgiving. The first room they gave me was 104. After settling in, and my child asleep I went to go shower only to find the room had NO RUNNING WATER so I was then moved to room 116 after 3 trips of rolling my suitcases to the new room (which was a handicap) they then had to move me to a new room because there were […] ppl checking in that needed a handicap room that they didn't note in the system so they then put me in room 124. I was in the room for a bit and then noticed a weird bug about 1/4 inch long.. Looked it up on wikipedia and it was a BEG BUG!!!!! I put the Bed BUG into a cup and asked the clerk up front if they have ever had a problem with bed bugs at this hotel and she said YES! She then said that she would have the manager contact me in the morning to get with me on the bed bug and talk to me about all the problems that I have encountered. WELL.... NOTHING.... I am still waiting on that phone call.. I was completely ignored. I know that I can go up front and make a scene but I'm curious to see how they would handle it and NOTHING WAS DONE. Lazy manager, Lazy clerks, not clean hotel. The only thing worth a crap about this hotel is the short order cook breakfast. It was really good I just wished she would have worn gloves. excellent hotel, would stay there again. the room was fantastic, the hotel staff was very excellent. the cook to order breakfast was to die for. the lady who cooked the omlette was great, she did a good job and all this made tor an excellent stay and i would recommend this hotel to anyone for a stay.

I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. The location was super easy to get to. I love all of the shopping and dining choices in close proximity. It did not take long to get to any of the local attractions in the city. The staff was wonderful. They were very nice and accommodating to my needs. They answered all of my questions. Our family stayed at this hotel over Veterans Day weekend and we were very happy with this hotel. After we checked in we discovered that the heater in our room didn't work. We called the front desk and within 5 minutes they had someone up to look at the unit. He couldn't get it to work so he went to the front desk to get our room changed and he even […] offered to help us move all our stuff over to the new room. The rooms are very nice in size, plenty of room for our child to run around. The beds were clean and comfortable and the room was all around well taken care of. The breakfast in the morning was yummy and they had plenty of things to choose from... they will even cook you eggs anyway you like!! We picked this hotel because it was only a few minutes away from both downtown and the San Antonio Zoo... our 2 main destinations. The hotel was very easy to find and is in a good neighborhood. There is even a Wal-Mart within walking distance in case you need anything you forgot to pack! Overall my family was very happy with the staff and our stay at their hotel. Excellent hotel, conveniently located next to the airport. Plenty of surrounding restaurants and best of all Walmart is right around the corner. Would definitely stay there again.

I can hardly wait to return. The staff was extremely accommodating for a late arrival. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast was a treat with an omlette freshly made to order. It is very close to the airport with instant shuttling. I left my car and felt it was totally safe. The only negative would be that there wasn't an elevator but […] I needed the exercise of climbing the flight of stairs....so no complaints here! The room was nice and the staff was helpful and friendly. They had a wide variety of breakfast options and they cook an omelet fresh and it is excellent. I recommend this inn. It is very reasonable and nice.

Contrary to recent negative reviews of this hotel, I decided go ahead with my planned stay. It was a risk well taken. 100% satisfaction - The staff was excellent; courteous, and friendly. Hotel was friendly and located next to a Walmart which is nice if you happen to forget something. Room was very clean and quiet although it is by the airport. Price was reasonable. We will stay there again.

Rather than risk the 1-1/2 hr. even-earlier Monday morning drive to make an early flight, we used this hotel for it's "stay-and-park-free" amenity, since it's so close to the airport. This is way cheaper than parking at SAT long-term lot, w/free shuttle both ways. Besides the parking though, the hotel itself is very nice and comfortable--great pillow-top […] mattress and 32-inch plasma TV. Only downside to the room itself is the tiny bathroom. They have a very nice chef-prepared (what I would call a full, not just continental) breakfast with plenty of seating for guests. I had arranged to use a rewards stay (free) night from Hotels.com and had pre-paid a small balance due on our credit card through Hotels.com. My husband checked us in and forgot to review the numbers on what he signed (duh!), assuming we were "free." Next morning early as we were eating breakfast, we asked the desk clerk for a receipt. Best Western had charged us for the night + tax and said they could find no record of the free night from Hotels.com (although they did have a reservation for us when we arrived)--a little strange. We didn't have time then to follow through further, but the clerk said she would speak to her supervisor about it. When we picked up our car 4 days later, I inquired about the mis-charge and was given an invoice showing a credit had already been made to our credit card. They offer a nice breakfast as long as you get there before the last 30 minutes(as they do not restock the food ) They offer a great omelet made to order by very friendly staff. One complaint the maid did not restock the soap and shampoo nor the coffee items upon cleaning the room. The TV was clear and modern with cable channels as well. We enjoyed our stay there. Great room at Hotel.com pricing & friendly service. Pet friendly and great location on property to walk pets. Only disappointment was that there was no frig or microwave in room as so many Best Westerns have.
