Hotelli on kohtuullisen hintainen. Sijainti aivan metroaseman vieressä, josta pääsee manhattanille melko nopeasti. Aamiainen on ihan okei, tosin tilat on aika pienet, joten oli melko ruuhkaista välillä. Huoneet on todella siistit.

"Comfort in Middletown - only if you have to!"
OK if you need to stay in this area, but on busy main road with views of carpark unless you get poolside room. Hotels.com had specified a balcony overlooking the pool area on my confirmation, but the hotel claimed to have no Queen rooms in this position. When I showed them my booking, they agreed to upgrade me to King, which turned out to be ground […] floor with French doors to a patch of grass with a tree near the pool. The hotel is old and shows it. We'd moved here from The Holiday Inn Express at W Longbranch, which is brand new. We had a great suite there for same price as room in Comfort Inn and there was no comparison in value and comfort - even breakfast better at HI. Staff were fine at both. "Solid hotel - fix Wi-Fi and I'd stay again"
I really enjoyed my stay here, much more than I thought I would. The room was in good condition. Everything was as I expected, microwave and fridge, etc...well, almost everything. I discovered quickly that the Wi-Fi provider used this thing called a transparent proxy which, long story short, placed ads above every non-HTTPS Web page I visited. I wound […] up using my cell phone for Internet instead of the free Wi-Fi. This wasn't the specific location's fault, and they said they would look into it (they didn't even realize until I told them). They were really nice overall, and hopefully the manager of this location can do something about it. I bet he's up against a lot, though, and I don't know if any of the other hotels in the area don't have ad-supported Wi-Fi. I guess what bugged me is that I couldn't even pay to remove the ads. The staff was very nice. Rooms were nice and big and clean. Breakfast was OK. Nothing spectacular. I would stay there again.

We come here in the summer for the beach (grew up here!). Spiro and company have run this hotel for years, and it is always exactly what we need!

"Comfort Inn Middletown-Red Bank"
Hotel was clean and pleasant. However, the toilet must have been a water saver of sorts. You had to flush it several times. Also the shower head was stuck on one spray and could not be changed. The staff was very nice and the breakfast was good.

I enjoyed my stay. One thing that I would change is the size of the pillows on the bed. Although there were 4 of them, they were very small and not too comfortable. Other than that everything was great ! Thank you
"Needs Improvement"
The woman who checked us in early in the evening at the front desk was somewhat surly and not helpful at all.One of the two " non smoking" rooms we had booked was satisfactory, The other room was damp and had wet carpet. The offending room, which we booked as a non smoking room had a very heavy odor of smoke which completely saturated the dampness.The […] room itself was clean. The bathroom was clean and the room, while very small, was adequate. The complimentary breakfast was very nice and, one again, the breakfast area was very clean. "Mildew and musty and no consideration for noise."
Spent two nights at the hotel while visiting my father in the hospital. After an early flight and a long day caring for my father I got to the hotel to find a party on the second floor with people wandering the hall all boozed up. Entered the room to find wet carpets and a heavy musty smell with a hint of mildew. Next night, got back to the hotel and found my refrigerator door left open (didn't have anything in there) and the air conditioner turned off so the room was hot, musty and smelled like mildew. Too expensive for rural NJ. I stayed here for an overnight and there was no where to go for entertainment at night, besides the Outback next door WHICH CLOSED AT 10:30p ON A WEEKEND!!! That includes the bar!!!!
