"Nice Hotel"
The room was clean, and the staff was nice. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, and I will stay there again when I am in Birmingham. I was impressed with every aspect of this hotel.

Excellent staff! I had assistance whenever I needed it the entire time, from the minute I checked in to the minute I checked out. Very friendly and helpful. Recommend to anyone who has to stay for business or pleasure! I was there as a vendor at a conference and the conference facilities and food was wonderful as well.

Everyone was pleasant, the beda were extremely comfortable, the carpet in the halls and (I imagine the rooms too) were dirty for camaflouge hotel design. I was kind of dissappointed the pool wasn't in use it was in the mid 80's and that's hot enough to swim. "Wynfrey Birmingham"
Extremely nice room at reasonable price. Stayed on top floor over a weekend so kids would have access to breakfast area. Gentleman on duty 3/31/12 was extremely efficient, helping guests, keeping area orderly and serving. Lady doing same job next morning sat at desk as trash piled up and tables went uncleaned. "great hotel for the price"
Stopped here on our way to FL for spring break. Great hotel for the money - room was very comfortable and the hotel was connected to a nice mall which was very convenient. Close to 65 S. Hotel staff was very friendly and helped with dinner and breakfast recommendations. Neat hotel! K
"Wynfrey Escape"
This was a short stay, not only were we within in walking distance to the Galleria, but additional stores were located around the premiter of the hotel. Our stay was a wonderful experience and we hope to visit again.
"Great property"
I had an overnight business trip at the Wynfrey. The staff paid great attention to details. the property is clean and convenient. Since it is attached to the Galleria Mall there were resources available when I had to make purchases without having to get back out in traffic.

Our family has stayed at the Wynfrey twice in the past six months and both stays have been wonderful. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. I love the cozy beds! Housekeeping did a fantastic job each day making our room look great after my preschoolers trashed it. They even put a frig in our room which was very handy to hold our leftovers and snacks. […] The best part of staying at the Wynfrey for us is the convenience. With two young kids, four and three, it's so nice to go shopping at the Galleria, and my husband can take the kids back for a nap and relax. It's also perfect on rainy days when we don't have to try and figure out what to do in the rain, we just go to the Galleria without having to ever step outside--priceless for us! Lisätietoja

Great price. Very convenient location. Comfortable room. Friendly service. Only complaint is that the hotel updated their mattresses but not their sheets. As a result, because the sheets were not deep pocket, they barely fit over the mattress and came off in the corners during the night. Getting old, kids running up and down hallways, parking deck tight for anything more than a car, rooms have a view of the mall roof.

We have been visiting Birmingham for a long time as we have family there. Normally we stay with family but thought we would stay at the Wynfrey hotel as we often shop at the Galleria and have wanted to stay there. The hotel itself is beautiful and the bed was comfortable. We stayed on the 11th floor, there was an aweful odor. I wanted ice but was told […] the ice machine was broken so I didn't get any the first night. The second night I went to get ice and had only my socks on, the floor was soaking wet by the ice machine thus so were my socks/feet also wet. Also, we were quite surprised at the outdated tv in the room, the picture was not good. We also like to stay fit but were quite surprised at the workout room- small, very little equip and minimal ventilation so we didn't use it. "Total "Eh" Factor"
I was really excited about staying at a place that cost that much (and that was with a cheaper rate I was getting because I was going with a group!) but was really disappointed when I got to my room. It obviously needs updating. My room has clearly been a smoking room in the past, even though it was marked non smoking now. No fridge, even though there […] are so many restaurants around to go and get dinner. No option to save your food. I do have to say that the bathroom was nice and updated, but that was about it. Everything else about the rooms is old is grungy. The service is SO nice, I just hate that I had such high expectations for the rooms because of the price. This hotel is located in a very convenient to the mall in Birmingham. The hotel seems to be clean but the rooms are older. They have obviously updated many features of the establishment. The worst part of the stay was the bed and pillows. Very uncomfortable. I have stay in every chain hotel the beds are comparable to a super 8 or microtel. The pillows […] are hard and also like rocks under your head. I asked the establishment for additional pillows and none were ever brought to me. Lastly this hotel charges a 10 dollar per day parking fee. The food is astronomical in the restaurant down stairs. I would rate this hotel a 3 not a 4 or 5. Too many additional things needed. Also the parking is underground and not well light. There is no security in the parking garage or cameras. My fiancee was very nervous parking her car due to only one entrance into the hotel on the second level. If you valet your automobile this would alleviate that problem. The over all room was ok! Expected it to look better than a standard everyday hotel. The nicest thing about the room was the bed, very cozy & comfortable. The air did not work great at all. Was hot the whole time and had the air set on 50 the entire time I was there. Found hairs in the bathroom.....eww! Should not have to pay for parking. This hotel is for people who want to stay at the Galleria Mall. Staff was very friendly, and this is considered an upscale hotel. We stayed one night for our anniversary. We were excited about the location, but we found this property is really showing its age: Carpet in the room was stained in a couple places, bathroom had broken granite piece, TV was […] very old and poor picture quality, my wife liked the bed, but I thought it was very worn, like sleeping in a bowl. My stay at the Wynfrey was exactly what I needed to clear my head and have some alone time. The hotel and rooms were clean and very well managed. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.

The Winfrey is showing her age but still the room was comfortable and clean as was the rest of the hotel. Service was excellent.

Our room had a number of problems, but the staff was very kind about fixing things and even brought us a bottle of wine. The hotel is in a good location if you want to shop at the mall.

Hotel use to be great but it is really run down.
priced well for what you get and it's attached to great shopping. a little outdated, and the restaurant is very expensive
