The hotel at fossil creek would be in a good location if not for all the construction going on around the hotel, after it is over it will be an ideal spot. First walked in hotel it was nice but we received a handicap room which would be cool if it had a bath tub but instead the whole bathroom was the shower. The bed was hard as a rock but it was a sleep […] number bed and you could adjust it to your personal setting, that also would be cool if it would have worked. Room was clean accept for under the bed and it was nasty, generally I don't go hotel to hotel critiquing the cleanliness of under the bed but I was looking for the controller to the sleep number bed that I never found. So my wife decided to say something, and they said there is nothing they can do, and gave us two free drinks at the adjoining club. So we decided to count are losses and go have a drink. We exited the bar around 2:30 and I was a little intoxicated so the front desk stopped us and asked if we would like to upgrade to a better room, so I said ok when I got in there it was alot better room and everything worked but I could of cared less until the next day because of the night at the club. One of the elevators happened to be down. I can take the stairs, but even at 2 am you still couldn't catch the elevator. Our ice bucket had dirty water in it and the bag for the ice was laying in it. But the trash cans had no bags in them. The air only blew hot for hours; we turned it to 60 and said forget it and went to sleep, sometime hours later […] it started blowing cold, but we were asleep so it got too cold. You couldn't flush the toilet unless you held the handle down for an exteded period of time just to flush 1 square of paper down. There was a huge smeared wad of gum in the shower, that was gross. The bed was too hard to call it a bed and the other bed in our room was broken; I also seen a note taped on their front desk another room had a broken bed. The curtains had white "goo" (a nice way to put it) all over them! The maid service would walk by trash in the hall and not even try to clean it. They also left breakfast plates by room doors all day long or longer. When there was a ball team holding up the line, the manager had no intentions of helping, she just let the line back up even more! They had a beautiufl fountain but that is junk when you have to put wet floor signs all around it because the water don't stay in it. I will never stay there again! Lisätietoja

Nice, but slightly out dated. Maybe consider an upgrade to the time period. Its 2012, not 1980..

We stayed at a Best Western in Austin, Texas and it was so much nicer. The people were a lot more social and free to help us with whatever we needed. Gave us coupons to surrounding clubs and Resturants. It was very updated and was cheaper...will not come back or recommend.

The heat didn't work everything is the room was old I mean real old I would never stay there again

My stay was only for one night,but after sleeping on that rock they called a bed it felt as if I stayed up all night.Called for a wake up call and didn't get it,late to a very important meeting.overall for the price,could have gotten the same service at a cheaper rate.

Walked into the lobby and was slammed by loud thumping music and cigarette smoke from the adjoining club. The entire hotel wreaked of smoke. Flat out NASTY! I felt bad for the hotel staff--not their fault the hotel owners put a club there.. The HVAC in the room was non-functional and did not repond to any thermostat changes and the sleep number bed […] malfunctioned all night--increasing and decreasing the air pressure on its own all night. It was a very nice hotel and very neat room. The only problem that we had with the hotel was that there was a party in the bar the night we stayed and the bartender was very rude and told us to go get cash from the ATM instead of using our card to get drinks.

A refrigerator in the room would have been a nice addition and the mattress was very hard for our liking. Other than that, we were satisfied with our stay.

Location and staff were excellent -- except for housekeeping knocking on the door at 9:00 a.m. to "check if I was gone yet". I could have lived with that if it didn't happen again at 9:30!!! I asked the lady why she didn't have a list of rooms that were empty (already checked out) and she replied mgmt did not give her a list.. I asked her why she didn't […] wait until after checkout time and she replied that mgmt instructed her to go knocking on doors to see who was still there. Bed was very uncomfortable -- hard and "springy" (I could feel the springs). Shower curtain too short, so every time I took a shower, the floor got soaked. Must have happened in the room above me, too, as there was fresh drywall patch on the ceiling above the tub....with the old drywall pieces lying close by. the hotel lobby was real nice with an exravagant fountian in the center, but the room was a dump. everything was old except the countertop in the bathroom, the tv was ancient and the clicker wouldn't turn it on, the bed was a rock with no matress pad, most of the power outlets didn't work and the ones that did shot sparks when plugging in. the room […] smelled like cigarette smoke, which someone else must not have liked cause i found one of those coffee packets in the vent of the air conditioner. maybe other rooms were nicer, so if you take the chance of staying here, don't take all your luggage to the room until you take a look at it in case you have to ask for a better room. i've stayed at motel 6's with nicer rooms. The location of the hotel was great, but that was about the only thing about the hotel that was. Everything was broken. We ordered a room with a sleep number bed, the first room didn't have one so they moved us. The next room the controller on the sleep number bed was broken and they couldn't fix it because they didn't have any more of them. Then the […] ice maker which was right beside our door didn't work. We had to go up to floor 3 to find a working ice maker, we were on floor 1. The screw on the lock of our outside door kept coming out when we opened and closed our door, so every time we went in or out our door I had to push the screw back in so our lock would stay in place. The TV was really out dated, it was an OLD television. It was a very disappointing stay for the price I paid. I had paid for 2 rooms and of course I got the worst one. Lisätietoja

Everything about was ok. It is a good place to crash for a long drive thru texas, but not for business. The gym is really old and the equipment is rusty.

The room was clean, however to be a updated Hotel in this day and age, very surprised that the TV was NOT a flat screen, and the remote was very bad. Older flat TV, my, my, my, lets get with it folks !!

Hotel was ok - needs a complete remodel as other guests have pointed out - pictures online are definitely outdated. Weird smell in the lobby - most likely due to huge outdoor type fountain which is in center of lobby. With so many hotel options in the area - I'd pick a different place next time.

I made this reservation at the last minute because my normal hotel was sold out, and though it seemed a little worn around the edges, the hotel personnel were very friendly, the room was clean and well-maintained and the bed comfortable. Nice value, though not as convenient to DFW attractions.

The bed was so comfortable. We did not want to get up the next morning. I will definitely choose Radison Hotels when I travel.

Television was from the early 90's and did not work. Had to get a new iron n the room. Had water roaches in the bathroom. And the room like I said was very very small. Very unsatisfied. But the bartenders were cool.

When we arrived late on Fri. the lobby was full of drunks and so noisy I could hardly hear the desk clerk and a lot of "women" that looked like call girls. the room was dated. we cot our stay to just one night. never again

I read the reviews, and should have believed them. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. The hotel was "run down", the television in both of our rooms didn't work, and one room had NO hot water. The pictures online were NOT what we encountered during our stay.

Close to track. The detour heading south sends you to an intersection that gets you to the hotel quickly. Can't say enough about the Select Comfort beds! After a whole day on my feet, the only thing better would have been a foot massage! Will definitely be staying there again in November!!

The lobby smelled of tobacco smoke. The hallway to my room smelled of tobacco smoke. My room smelled strongly of deodorizer trying to cover the old smell of tobacco smoke. I requested "non-smoking" and my room had a sign listed as "non-smoking." I asked at the front desk and they explained that the smoking was on the second floor and that I was on the […] first floor with no other room options. They are strict with the 5 miles radius for the shuttle. I wanted to go to the convention center (exactly 6 miles away). It was surprising that they did not include shuttle service by 1 more mile for the convention center. I was so disappointed that I spent one of my four paid nights and paid more to stay at the Hilton downtown. We had to tell the maps to come in and redo or sheets because it had makeup and hair on it. Then it read that the fort worth convention center was a five mile radius and the van would take you only five miles when I got there they said they couldn't take us. Hotel was nice for being older. The beds are great!!! Water pressure was low and hot and cold water was not constant. Over all was really good though. Went to stockyards and was only a short drive.

This one needs a complete renovation. All the painted surfaces are needing re-painting. The doors on our hallway were not all the same color and that wasn't on purpose. The carpets are dirty in the halls and rooms. The lighting is dark. The carpet feels like it's been laid over bumpy remains of old carpet. the sheetrock repairs are so poorly done and […] painfully obvious. It is a football field length and winding path from the desk to the elevator. We had to ask to be moved to a different room, and they were very curteous about that. Good Value for Cost

I think the Hotel.com price was very fair. However, if we would have payed full price for our room I would have been very angry at the room condition. The sleep number bed was fantastic....but the hotel was obviously old and was in need of some work. The walls were scretched, and looked like the were patched together in a hurry. I was chraged doubble […] for a room service breakfast. It was supose to be convienitant. My husband and I had to check out and leave early that morning, we figured staying in our room would give us an opertunity to clean up our 1 year old and have her presentable when we finaly got to Grandma's (still 5 hours more away) ....what we got was a hassel. the staff was very nice. big lobby but a bit old fashion. the room was a disaster. they changed the bed covers and head beds to give it a more modern look but the beds are old and very un comfortable. the bathroom was not clean and i we found a dead bug on the floor. no breakfast included which is very rare. they offered a breakfast for $9 (not that […] bad) but it was really bad too. the only positive point was the people working there which were very nice. The check in agent was not especially friendly, but did her job and got us check in between phone calls. She was the only one at the counter at 3pm, seemed odd. When we got to the room, it seemed generally cleaned. But the carpet around the edges of the room was dirty, the walls had some cracking and could use painting and new wallpaper. The toilet in our room did not flush, they offered us another room a few doors down, but the guy that brought the key to the new room was able to "fix" the toilet while we went to take a peek at the new room. It reeked of smoke so we took the "fixed" toilet and stayed where we were. I say "fixed" because it ran all night long. Probably the reason the previous "resident" turned if off to start with. The king size bed was a bit worn and you could feel the springs coming through, but the sheets were comfy and clean. The a/c only had 2 setting high or low, which was too cold or too hot. I put my Mom and brother in the other room we got, they had no major issues. The sleep number beds in their room were not functioning and the remotes kept saying error, and the room had a smoke smell also. Overall this is a mediocre hotel for the price. Nothing was so terrible I would never go back, but there were other hotels close by that looked newer, I will likely try one of those next time instead of going back to the Radisson. Their main selling feature is the Sleep Number bed. We this might just be personal preference, but it's not so great. Walking in, the hotel looked like I've always thought a Raddison should. It was done nicely. Our room was very quiet and comfortable, except for the Sleep Number bed. I don't know why people would want one. It was hard to control and my husband and I could never get it comfortable. Also, there was a bunch of young teenage softball girls staying there […] for a tournament. It would have been nice if we could have had a non-youth time in the pool. We never had a chance to swim without them and they were annoying. Restaurant staff was young and not as polished as I would have expected, but the food was good. The poblano soup was a highlight. The hotel looked very nice when we entered. House Keeping did not clean our room the while we was there, they just brought us fresh towels every day. The last night we was there I saw a Huge Roach crawling up the wall in the hallway!

I have never travelled to Texas before, so maybe my experience was not the norm--but I found the hotel service to be less than par and reflected a poor customer service situation everywher I travelled in the Fort Worth area. My main complaints about the hotel: they allow smoking in some rooms so the entire hallway smelt horrible; the breakfast was […] inedible (I ordered off the menu, not hte buffet) and when I complained the front desk offered me a bottle of water. A bottle of water wasn't going to keep my hunger pains at bay until I could get some lunch; the front desk staff was not knowledgeable about the surrounding area and often seemed overwhelmed (phone ringing off the hook, only one person at front area, so that I felt that my needs were rushed and/or brushed off); the only thing near by was a McDonald's. Run Down WAter pressure low, door handle broke

Liked the restaurant and lounge. Room was very comfortable. Service desk was very helpful also.
