Quality Inn & Suites - Burnham

Hotel staff was very friendly and the room was clean and neat. Overall it was a good experience. I would definitely stay there again.

Stay was great the only thing I didn't like was there wasn't an indoor connection from my room to the restaraunt or main desk.

The beds were very comfortable, and the room was clean. However, because the entry to the rooms was outside, it was very noisy at night making it hard to get to sleep.

Room was comfortable; towels were a little skimpy. Instead of a free breakfast, we received a coupon for 15% discount; breakfast was inedible. French toast was cold in the middle, obviously microwaved. Husband's pancake wasn't cooked through. Dining room was very cold at 7 a.m.

The beds were lumpy and uncomfortable. The room was antiquated. The fixtures in the bathroom were dreadful.

Perfect for what I needed it for....I needed a place to sleep, and a place to eat breakfast. The restaurant has comparable diner food for breakfast, but isn't the fastest at getting you out the door. Great for leisurely dining. Hotel room was perfect, no bells and whistles, but had what we needed - TV, Wifi.

Best part about the stay was the friendly staff. 45 minutes from state college, clean friendly and 1/2 the price. 2 Floors drive up clean room, no w/o room and I couldn't access TV HDMI to watch netflix.

Lewistown (Burnham) is actually my hometown, we were visiting for a family function. The room was clean, the front desk staff was cordial. Shower pressure was great. The only complaint is that the heating system is very LOUD! Also, would be nice to have a small fridge in the room. Other than that, a great room for a decent price.

The room was very cold. I cranked up the temp to 75 but it did not feel like it was above 64. I didn't complain becuase I thought it was due to the outside temp. In the a.m. th clerk said they have had that problem with that room before. i worked with a jacket on and my coat on my feet! cold. Other than that the room was really nice.

Our lock did not lock. You could just push the door in. Didn't really matter when we were in the room because we dead bolt the door. After 1st night we asked maid and maintenance man about it. They said if would be fixed. We took our bags and stuff with us just to be safe. That night after the game we arrived back at our hotel door and we're able to […] just push it in again. I wiped across the top of one corner of the bathtub, it was dirty. I wiped the floor behind the bathrom door, it was dirty along wth an opened safty pin. I was very unhappy. I took it to the desk and they said they would look into it; but I didn't hear anything back. The rest was ok, but the bathroom was nasty.

Even though the room was designated as smoking the smell was not too bad and very minimal.

The hotel was clean and the restaurant at the hotel was good. The only problem was the lack of reliable internet service in my building of the hotel. I struggled the first night for a good hour (I was online then off then online then off). The next morning it was fine but that night again it was terrible. When I called the front desk they said I could […] come to the lobby which should be fine. This was the case but there were not table/chairs for me to use and I had to sit on a couch in the lobby. I thought it would have been nice to offer me a conference/work room if they did not have a business center. I finally went into the restaurant and ate dinner while I worked to be more comfortable. Stayed at this hotel on a football weekend. It is 30 miles from town, but it is a quick trip and was not an issue. Very conveniently located off of 322. The room was clean and the bed was the most comfortable "hotel bed" I have ever slept in (and I have been to 100s of hotels in my business travels). The staff was efficient and friendly. It is like an old school motel set-up with outside access to all rooms. But perfectly acceptable for a place to crash during a busy football weekend. Room was comfortable, quiet, and close to the highway exit. Even though I prefer non-smoking rooms, this smoking room's odor was mild. The motel has a restaurant, not a free continental breakfast as Expedia maintains.

Everything was great except the hallways smelled of smoke and we were on a non-smoking floor. Our room also smelled like smoke once we entered then it seemed to go away. Really enjoyed the continental breakfast.
