Holiday Inn Fargo - Fargo

We'd like all in this hotel, but I was expecting a bigger water -park -swimming pool.Because from the pictures in the website, looks bigger.But Other then that we have a great time in your hotel.Thanks.

Nice hotel, but the pool and hottub were cold.

For the most part, the hotel is fine, even good. But when it comes down to it, the price is way overpriced. My family and I had a second level floor room looking right at the pool. I hate to say it, but I could have had just as much quality service at another hotel in Fargo (including a swimming pool) for a much lower price than at the Holiday Inn. […] Unless the prices go down, when I go to Fargo I will look at different hotels via hotels.com. Hotel is convienently located near major attractions and shopping mall. Pleanty of parking and a very courteous staff. Pub and restaurant in the hotel. Had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks to the staff!!

Not a bad hotel -- very large with potentially lots of walking required depending on where your room is. They unfortunately rely on a terrible hallway air freshener that is cloying and sweet and disgusting. Permeates the whole place and is awful. Needs renovating very soon. Carpet ect old and not the cleanest. Friendly staff, very comfy beds.

We stayed at this hotel for the purpose of letting our son play in the pool. However, just as we walk down to the pool we are informed of an small accident a child had in the pool. Originally we are told it would take 1 hour to clean up, but after two hours of waiting we gave up and went to bed. After about 2 hours of sleep we hear the people next door […] just like they are in our room. The walls between the two rooms were too thin to keep out any sound. I was not very happy with the fact that in the ad it had said that breakfast was included with my reservation. And when we got there and ordered our food we then only realized that they only covered $20 of the entire meal.

I liked the hotel very much, I just found the shower in our room not good. The one jet stream was hard against the skin.

The location & availablity coming into or out of Fargo was a plus for travelers like me. The hotel gave quick service when there was a situtaion in our room. The maintance staff arrived promtly, fixed the problem & was very curtious. The next time I plan on visiting Fargo, your hotel will be the fist choise.

This hotel was clean and comfortable, and the staff was very nice, but the building itself is enormous. I typically wouldn't have a problem with a big hotel, but as you make your way through hallway after hallway, with dim wall sconces along the way, you don't feel safe. I found the long, dimly lit hallways to be a little scary, especially at night. On […] the second day of our trip, a man entered my room while I was on the phone after a quick knock. He said he was checking to see if the room had been cleaned, but it was almost 5:00 pm. Shouldn't it have been clean long before then? Finally, this hotel has a nice little fitness area, but it's hard to find. I went down around 6am, and it was open earlier than that, and I had to make my way through the pool area to get there, which was completely dark. This hotel is great for kids! We enjoyed our stay and the restaurant was convenient and served tasty food. We had a problem with our toilet and phoned the front desk, within 5 minutes someone was there to fix it and was done in a matter of minutes. Great service.

We weren't sure what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised as the room was spotless. We were hoping it was close to the big mall as we were there for back to school clothes shopping for our grand daughter and we could walk to the mall from the motel in a couple of minutes. It has everything we needed. The service and the food in the motel was excellent […] and we would not hesitate to recommend it to friends. We also asked for a late checkout to accommodate our breakfast needs and they obliged us which made our departure a lot less stressful. The pool area offered a great, unexpected adventure for us. The staff were helpful in selecting the correct size life vests and in helping get the youngest used to the water. Hotel staff responded quickly when we discovered the cable connection for the tv was not secured to the wall and our 16-month-old was very curious and was drawn to it. The room was great happy to see a fridge and microwave. We booked a room that was poolside BIG MISTAKE ... people yelling and swearing till 1am( by the pool area) and then had a large group of people talking loudly outside our room(in hall) till 4am. If you have teenagers, then this is not the hotel for you. It is geared toward young families - the pool is like 4ft deep and full of kids in pull ups. The hot tub was full of kids in pull ups - it was gross.

Very comfy beds & a variety of pillows to choose from ~ you can call guest services to get whatever pillow suits you best. Nice pool area and nice location for a ladies only weekend. Great location for shopping and a many restaurants to choose from close to hotel.

I didn't like hearing children and dogs running in the halls. I had to ask to be moved. I kept a do not disturb sign on my door. And the maids still bothered me. Maybe incorporate a sign that says...NO MAID SERVICE. They do that in most major cities. Then the maids don't have call or knock on ur door. Very clean. VERY comfortable. First solid night's sleep in 10 days. Beautiful facility. Rushing for home but if not would have loved another night there. Highly recommend to all...especially those with children.

Nice hotel, clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The boys had a good time in the swimming pool. Convenient location. We will stay here again.

I thought the hall smelled like cigarettes. I didn't realize that guests are allowed to have pets. My room smelled like pee! The pool area looked great for kids.

Great hotel. Awesome pool with the pirate theme. Awesome location. Right on 13th with the mall, movie theater and all the good restraunts near by. Clean, comfortable rooms. I forgot a couple of things in the room and called to let them know and they shipped them back to my house. Great service and a great stay.

Would recommend. Our kids love this hotel and will be returning.

We stayed here for the Fargo marathon and were very pleased with this hotel. The staff were very friendly and accomodating and the rooms were clean. The pool area is great for younger children, they even provided life-jackets which was very helpful! I would stay here again and would recommend it to others.

My family was VERY satisfied with this hotel. The room was clean, roomy, and the bed was sooo comfortable I wish I could've taken it home! Shipwreck Bay was fun for the whole family. Hotel staff brought new towels on a regular basis and they have lifejackets available pool side if needed. Pool was clean. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

I really enjoyed staying here, and the room was very spatious! Location is fantastic too- would definitely stay here again! Layout is a little sprawling and confusing, just be prepared for a walk if you are staying above the first floor!

I will never stay at this hotel again. The only good thing about our stay was housekeeping. They were extremely efficient, friendly and thorough. The lady that checked me in was extremely rude and we were not notified of making reservations for the Christmas lunch - which ended us in line for over an hour. We got a room that allowed us to have our dog […] and it was also a smoking room. Yet, security ??? calls and tells us people are complaining - about WHAT? Lisätietoja

This place was very clean and nice - but not recommended if you are NOT traveling with Children as the halls were filled with children running around at all times. Good location - right across the street from the Mall and close to all the major stores and restaurants.

kids really enjoyed the pool!! they had plenty of lifejackets on hand which was very nice since we have two little kids. very clean hotel however could use a little updating looked like there had been water on the outside wall so the wallpaper was peeling. the beds were very hard (not what we prefer). great staff at front desk, they were very efficient […] and friendly. A nice hotel, clean, updated , with decent amenities. Double room was good-sized and housed two adults and three children comfortably. Pool area is great for kids. Complimentary coffee in the lobby in the morning. Excellent location -- close to many restaurants and across the street from Fargo's largest mall. We enjoyed our experience here.

We had picked out this hotel for the simple fact that the pool looked awesome...The pool was nice, although they need to keep it warmer in there, we all seemed chilled all the time... The only real complaint I have on the hotel is that when a person is booking a room and you list that you have children, it would of really been nicer to be closer to […] the pool. We were up in the tower on the 3rd floor, huge walk to get back and forth too the pool...Called the front desk and they really didn't try to accomodate by offering another room or even seeing if we wanted a poolside room, the three days we spent in the pool area, alot of the poolside rooms were not even being used. Not many bells and whistles, but not a bad place to stay.

Got checked into wrong room by unfriendly staff. Looked out window to HVAC system, nice and noisy... walked out front door into screaming children running to pool. Beds uncomfortable, cramped room and bathroom hardly big enough for one. What a disaster!
