Inn at Albany Mall - Albany

The room was very large and very clean. I was a bit nervous since there were only a handful of guests staying there. I later found out when I was checking out that it will be torn down and replaced by a restaurant in March.

Deplorable. Good place to start a prison. You will need a bulldozer to begin project.

I had a wonderful stay at the Inn At Albany Mall and was sadden to learn that it was slated to be demolished in Jan. 2012. I had a lovely room and the people who worked there took excellent care of me during my stay. It felt like my home away from home.

This Hotel is closing so all the extra's are no longer available to you, such as extra towels or getting your room service for more than one night stay.

hotel is closing jan 18, so that might be the reason that the staff was extremely rude. desk clerk refused to call a taxi. i was told that they did not clean the rooms daily & when i requested either the beds be made with clean sheets or be given a different room, i was given the sheets & told to make the beds myself.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! Clerk wanted me to sign a paper but wouldn't let me see what was on the other side of paper - we actually was in a tug-of-war because I refused to sign a paper I couldn't read. Hotel was closing on 31 Dec 11, but noone informed me until I arrived at the hotel. The hotel staff is very nice. The hotel is conveniently located. The rooms and hallway are filthy and this could be corrected by firing the manager of room cleaning and hiring someone who can see the floor because the trash and filth is right under their noses and stays there for days. Website ad was a little misleading. The hotel has obviously just re-opened under new ownership. Furnishings, carpeting and decor are worn and dated, bathrooms are badly in need of upgrading. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The restaurant and bar on site were not open either night I stayed there. The price was reasonable and the place is close to highways […] and restaurants. Grocery stores nearby. I would have felt better about this if the website ad represented the actual condition of the hotel and rooms. The room was very clean and neat.The staff was friendly and the location was very convenient to restaurants and the mall.

Hotel located near shopping mall and grocery , nice homey feeling about the room my stay was very co Comfortable.

Hotel was very nice, especially for the price. Rooms have nice size refrigerator and back door in the room makes it convenient to get to your car. Staff was very nice and hospitable. Would stay there again.

I live in Albany, but was under the process of relocating, so I stayed at the Inn at Albany Mall. My check in was very easy and my room was magnificent. It was very large, clean, and the bed slept like a dream! It was inexpensive for what I got. My room had all the amenities including a microwave and refridgerator. I had a great stay and would recommend […] it for however long they have left. I was sad to hear that the hotel was purchased and will be torn down soon to make way for Olive Garden. One of the most pleasant hotels I've ever visited. The customer service was outstanding, the rooms were huge, it was right in the heart of Albany, & extremely quiet &I comfortable. I highly recommend the Inn at Albany Mall &I can't wait to stay there again soon!!!

This hotel should not be open: showers are not finished, telephones do not work, ac does not work in all rooms, holes in towels, dirty shower curtains, outside doors do not lock, no free breakfast.

Neat rooms, excellent customer service and close to majority of main attractions.

There were quite a few repair needed to the facility. Room was damp.

We only stayed one night. The location was great. Even though the motel is under renovation, we had no problems. Our room was very clean(no stale smell) and was very quiet. We enjoyed our stay. The hotel employees were very helpful and courteous.

I stayed here while traveling to Florida, and did not arrive untill after 1:30 AM. Check in was very fast, and the staff was very helpfull. The hotel looked nearly new, and the rooms were very nice and comfortable. The entire hotel is non-smoking, which as a smoker was a little bit of a downer for me, but I would stay there again regardless. Pool area […] looked nice, as did the resturant, though I did not partake of either. Check out was at 11, which allowed me plenty of time to sleep. My only complaint was that the bath tub / shower had been resurfaced, and some of the resurfacing material was starting to peel. The Inn at Albany Mall was absolutely awful I will never stay there ever again. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone.

We only spent one night in the room but I will stay there again on my next trip to Albany,GA.

this hotel is in a small liltte town called albany my thoughts was that it would be the worse but it wasn't it was great close to a mall and all kinds of stores to shop and eat it was that far from my family house whom i was there to see i was picking up my auntie so that we could come back to baltimore that is were i'm there even was a night club in […] the hotel and swimming pool over all it was a great stay and i would stay there again ! The rates were very affordable. The staff were very helpful and professional. The rooms were clean and plesant. My wife and I plan to comeback on our next visit. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

This hotel is still undergoing renovation. Its in a good location. Although the rate was good and the bed was comfortable, housekeeping is terrible!!! They did not vacuum regularly; they don't wash your sink everyday; sometimes they don't leave you toilet tissue, drinking cups, enough towels. Very spotty cleanliness. I do not remember her name because we talked so much but the Lady that checked me in was so pleasant. I was pleased with her generosity and great sense of humor. Thank you for having great service. Hotel has alot of potential. Under new management for the past 2 months. Should open the lounge nightly and open up business center for faster computer services.

For the price very nice stay. Front desk very professional and courtesy. Will stay again in future 

It was an okay hotel overall. The staff were very polite and professional. Rooms were obviously dated, but comfortable.

When we booked this room, we were not told that it was still under renovation and that certain things were not finished to be used. The pool was open but the Jacuzzi was not. We looked at 3 rooms before we decided on one and the bathroom was still needing a new toilet seat and bathtub. The furniture in the room (except the bed) needed replacing. The […] front desk girl (Arlene) tried really hard to please us, and I give her kudos for that. Altogether I would say do not open for customers until the whole thing is finished. Overall, the stay was enjoyable. I was concerned when walking down the hallway to my room after check-in and it was very warm. Thankfully, my room did not share that warmth and the AC was working. Also, it was very disappointing that there were no lounge chairs at the pool. This hotel is still undergoing renovations, so I can't hold this against them […] too much. I don't even know how to convey in words what I experienced at this place. I'll just begin with the RAT FECES on the bed spread!! The excuse given by management was that it must've blown out from the vents due to recent renovations or some crap like that. It gets worse but I'll end with RAT FECES on the bedspread!!

This is the worst hotel that I've ever stayed at. On the second floor the rooms are extremely hot due to the design of the hotel. The toilet seat was brown and disgusting. There were spiders in the sink and in the tub. The sheets smelled awful. I wish I would have never booked this hotel.
