Crowne Plaza Kansas City - Overland Park - Lenexa

Very nice hotel everyone was very nice smiled! Out of all the hotels I have recently stayed in it was the first one to have a hot tub that worked and wasn't filled in with dirt and plants! This will probably be the only hotel I will stay in during my visits to KC!!

The staff were wonderful! The food was good and fairly priced for a hotel. Our TV had alot of static unless we manipulated the cable cord. It was all the way screwed in so that got a little annoying. I did ask for no service as in maids, but they came anyways. The pool was a good temperature and the hottub was amazing. Everything was very clean. We had a block of 20-30 rooms for event that was scheduled at hotel. Rooms were split up all over hotel, this became problem when we were not allowed to gather in atrium, hotel room, bar or any other area in hotel. We were told only 5 guests allowed per room. Resturant was only open for breakfast, bar closed when we had a dozen people in there and another […] 15 outside that room, Second night another group was allowed to have children running throughout hotel, in and out of room rented for 6 hours or more. I thought we would have a sleep number bed. That is how it is advertised. But we did not. The bed was harder than a floor. I didn't sleep at all for both nights of our stay. It was a very small room for the money. The tv didn't even have CBS.

Overall, good hotel. Main complaint would be that exterior rooms can hear the interstate and trucks woke me up at night. The pool was cold for an indoor pool. The TV was very sub-par for this cost of hotel. CRT monitor with a fuzzy reception.

Everything was as it should be. No Issues. Alex Rodriguez at the front desk was very pleasant and more than helpful.

I needed to be in KC for an early morning meeting and the Crown Plaza fit the bill. Great location. Just minutes from my meeting place and within the price range I needed.

Even though the hotel was replacing the indoor flooring and it was the hottest days of the year, the staff was friendly, the room was comfortable, and the location was perfect. Thanks.

The Sleep Number bed was absolutely terrible! If I want to sleep on an air mattress I'll go camping. The hotel staff were average, not a cut above who I'd expect to find at a Crowne Plaza. Nice hotel. Easy 15 minute highway drive to anywhere downtown KC. Be sure to ask if your breakfast is included when booking through Hotels.com; also ask if there is an elevator to your second floor room. The back area of the hotel doesn't have one. Staff very courteous.

they were an okay hotel but they had sleep number beds and the first bed didn't even stay up and was aweful so they moved us to another room at 11pm and in that room the bed staied inflated but you couldn't adjust it to a comfortable setting or it would also deflate. We went for a weekend get away with our children. The front desk clerk was NOT friendly at all and seemed like we were bothering her. There were LOTS of sports group of all ages. The children were pushing each other around on the office chairs so the public computers could not be accessed. They were very rowdy in the pool and hot tub. I went to stay for one night, I was treated well. They are doing some renovations but that did nit interfere with quality.

At first, approaching the hotel from 95th Street, we were afraid it had shut down/closed as the North parking lot was completely empty. However, this is the entrance to their Convention Center, the Hotels main entrance faces West. We were relieved to find the entrance and see the many cars parked in this lot. Guest Service was amazing. Every employee […] we encountered was extremely helpful, outgoing and kind. The hotel was quiet but it wasn't empty. It appeared there was some remodeling going on but it wasn't distracting nor extremely visible to the eye. The pool was a good size if you're wanting to just cool off. It was the perfect temperature, not too cold and not too warm. The Hot Tub was a great size to hold multiple people without feeling like your personal space is being invaded by a stranger. We LOVED the bed in our room. It is a Sleep by Numbers bed. Extremely comfortable! The only annoyances we found were the doors to some of the corridors of the hotel. They were heavy and could use an automatic opener or handicap door button. Perhaps they will be installed after the remodeling. Also, the bathroom did not have an exhaust fan (or we just couldn't find it). The bathroom got a little steamy and congested from taking a shower-so we had to leave the bathroom door proped open. Check out took less than 1 minute. A complete breeze. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. We plan on booking the same hotel when we return to KC for another Get-A-Way. Lisätietoja

If a property chooses to select and in effect shill for an adjustable mattress company they should assure the mattress adjusts. While the numbers on the remote changed neither bed in my room changed condition from "uber firm - sleep on a wooden floor".

They are currently doing some updates, not that much impacted us. The hotel seemed to be pretty empty, thus very quiet which was kind of nice...Exercise room was very nice and pool was nice. The water was quite cold though.

Overall hotel is in serious need of updating. Rooms are tired and drab but the beds were comfortable

The room was beautifully decorated and the amenities were lovely. Everyone was polite and helpful. My only concerns were that, on the second day of my stay, the tissues in the bathroom had not been replenished nor had I been provided with fresh wash clothes. My wife & I used the hotel for a weekend trip to Kansas City. The hotel is an older vintage that is being remodeled. It needs some repair, but the hotel is clean, quite, and family friendly. I went to check in atg 3:15pm. Check-in is at 3pm. They had no rooms ready, and would not until 4pm. I had to reorganize my afternoon and evening to meet their schedule. They had a sleep-number bed, whcih was horrible. Location is okay if you need to do something in that area or need quick access to I-35. It was clean and well-kept.

The layout of the hotel was confusing. One had to walk down long hallways to access the lobby and the entrances were not well marked. The overall condition was satisfactory, but the lobby and the room needed more light.

Great hotel, we will stay again because it is so beautiful inside, we got a poolside and the kids loved it, it was great to be in a jungle in mid December, very good pool and hot tub. Did not know about the breakfast buffet not being free and continental, so the kids ate, but not us. Only a minor on a GREAT stay,

The room was good. The breakfast was bad. Everything was cold and the waitress was gone most of the time. People had to locate her. I think they only had one. The selection was good, just cold food.

i spent with my family a great holiday especially in indoor swimming pool because it was warm.

The pool looked like the water was dirty. Other than that it was great.
