Good place to stay, much less cost than surrounding hotels

Particularly liked the fact the rooms were made up in a timely fashion each day. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Would definitely look to stay there again.

We loved our short stay here and we're happy we could leave our car in their garage until 6 pm on the day we departed, even though checkout was noon. We were also able to leave our luggage with them until we got our car at 5:30 pm. We reserved a special hotel and parking package and everything worked out beautifully. We even used their fridge to store some salsa we brought home from the Mexican restaurant across the street in the cinema mall. We recommend that place, too. Wonderful friendly helpful staff. Great location. Good rates. It is an older hotel so smaller rooms and the bathroom has no counter space but for a term stay I was satisfied.

Very nice hotel. Service was great. Great location. Loved Von's as a bar and a restaurant. I have only two complaints: There is virtually no counter space in the bathroom for toiletries; and there is no lounge chair in the room. Hotel is very conviently located right down town. Easy walking distance to lots of great shopping, restaurants and for sight seeing. Room was clean and comfortable. Only slightly negative experiences were that the concierage was not as helpful as I would have liked or expected. Asked for restaurant recomendations and needed assistance to get a cab […] as well as get the car out of the parkade. Restaurant recomendation was virtually non-existent, pointed to us to the closest restaurant to the hotel. Had to ask more than once where the cab was as we were going to be late for our departure. Nice clean and friendly hotel. Lot's a great restaurants and fun bars all around. I stayed for a convention held at the convention center and this hotel is one block away. My only concern is to be careful at night. I personally didn't run into any trouble but there was definitely a different crowd out at night.

The hotel service was outstanding! The free parking voucher was a plus.

What an awesome place to stay...clean, friendly, right in the middle of everything you would want to do. i would not hesitate staying there again.

The Roosevelt was an excellent choice for my daughters and myself. The staff was excellent to us. We were touring the University campus and they helped get uson the right bus and gave us insights on U information. The location is amazing and we wandered Seattle with ease. This hotel is 1 block from the Washington Convention center. There isn't a hotel closer. It has an amazing bar and grill attached to it and is across the street from a high end mall. It is just 7 blocks from the famous Public market and a couple more to the water front. The light rail takes you from the airport to under the mall across the street. It […] was very easy and cheap. The only downfall was that we had to pay extra for a refrigerator. Also make sure if you are adding a night you go through hotels.com because there was trouble gettin that taken care of through the hotel. This is why I gave them a low score on quality of service. We stayed here for 2 nights - a little expensive for what you get so book on a low cost site. Jacuzzi suite had an amazing sized jacuzzi. Hotel was very quiet and clean. The one problem is that as soon as you walk out of the hotel your key card stops working as you can not put near a cell phone, walk through a security sensor (read - any shop) or have […] it in the air. The hotel is located close to everything! I was able to walk to a lot of great places to eat, most of the "touristy" things in Seattle and its only a block and a half from the Light Rail station which I took in from the airport. The Roosevelt Hotel is a classic in the center of downtown Seattle. You can take the light-rail from the airport.....walk to Pike Place Market....virtually across the street from the Convention Center with lots of shopping all around. We enjoyed our one night stay. We have visited Seattle a lot and stayed at many downtown hotels, all have been very nice and The Roosevelt is one that we would stay at again for sure.

Nice hotel in a great neighbourhood. Clean and comfortable. But the staff seemed very stressed and confused. I stayed for three days, and they checked me out at the end of day two. Then housekeeping kept walking into my room all afternoon and evening because they thought it was vacant. They never really got it sorted out. My stay at the Roosevelt was exactly what I hoped for in a hotel. The rooms were modern and clean. The services I care for are availble and efficient. The elevator moves quickly, internet availble everywhere, easy walk to water, convention center or public tranportation. Straight shot on Link rail from the airport to 1.5 block walk to hotel (cost $2.75). […] The rooms were somewhat small but I was alone so it didn't matter. Nice flat screen TV. View from room. The staff at this hotel were exceptional. The rooms are very nice. They had the beds on one side of the room separated by a nice desk and a couch, TV and table and chairs. Perfect style to this room.

The Roosevelt Hotel offered a nice, very clean room for an affordable price. They have valet parking (my booking offered free parking - a $28 savings). The hotel is centrally located - near tons of shopping and nice places to eat (we ate at "Blue C Sushi" across the street and it was great! Pikes Market is an easy walk (6 blocks away). Upon check-in we noticed the lobby to be in need of a cleaning. However, recent snow storms made us think, perhaps that was the reason for the dirt. When we got to our room we first noticed how small it was. We had planned just a 1 night stay, so this was Ok. In unpacking and getting ready for dinner we noticed the bathroom was quite dirty and trash […] uder the bed. The shower took over an hour to drain and there was considerable filth on the airvent, in direct contact with the towels. I was recently caught in the snow storm that gripped Seattle, and was thankful that I ended up at the Roosevelt. The staff were exceptionally helpful, especially Eric the day shift bellman. The room was comfortable and thanks to the location I was able to have a great stay, despite being stranded a couple of extra days due to the weather. This is a classic older hotel that still has class. It is located in the middle of the Seattle shopping district. Our room was quite small but adequate. We will visit the Roosevelt again but ask for a bit larger room. WI-FI in room was great. Parking cost reasonable for downtown Seattle.

I stayed at the Hotel between Dec. 23 - 26th. It was my first visit to downtown Seattle and could not have picked a better location. You can walk everywhere you want to go. Downtown was lite with Xmas lights and what a fabulous atmosphere. The Roosevelt is a great hotel and will definately stay there again.

Great location, give it a high rating overall. One problem is that both of our keycards lost their programming twice in a six day stay, which panic-ed my wife when her card wouldn't activate the elevator and the doors closed on her.

I stayed in the Roosevelt in early January, and I certainly felt as if I got my money's worth. The staff was courteous and attentive; the room was clean and comfortable; and the hotel is located a short walk from Pike's Market, Pioneer Square, and other Seattle landmarks. You can't beat the location! Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and nice, but I've paid less to stay at a downtown comfort in in another city and I've seen the same room, and even cleaner! only complaint: bathroom wasn't 100% spic and span, tub could and shower curtain could have been cleaner. Bathroom needs repairs.

Great place to stay - was a pretty small room but for price could not beat it. Staff was nice and location was great. You might want to consider a king room or a suite to get additional room size. Other than that, nice place!

Great staff, awesome location, within walking distance to many city attractions.

The location of this hotel is perfect if you want to be close to downtown Seattle and the Convention Center. The free parking was a BIG extra perk.

Went down for 2 nights to see a Seahawks game and had a great time. Friendly people great location and free valet parking was the best. Must go to Von's Pub (connected to Hotel) if you want good food and drinks. Would go back if price is the same next year.

This would be all 5's except that we received no maid service on Sunday, 12/11. We left the room at 11 am, came back at 2pm and room had not been serviced..we had left Maid Service sign on the door. I called Housekeeping. They said they were leaving but would leave night person a note to come at 5:00. We went to see Zoolights in Tacoma. When we got […] back at 9pm..no maid service.
