Kaupungin Oslo sydämessä sijaitseva Thon Hotel Europa on kävelymatkan päässä kohteista Kansallisgalleria ja Kuninkaanlinna. Lähistöllä ovat myös Oslon kaupungintalo ja Nobelin rauhankeskus.

Majoitusliikkeen (liiketoimintaan sopiva hotelli) ravintolapalveluihin kuuluvat ravintola, kahvila ja baari / aulabaari. Tarjolla on ilmainen aamiainen. Huonehintaan sisältyvä langaton ja langallinen Internet-yhteys on käytettävissä yleisillä alueilla. Hotellissa on liiketoimintakeskus (auki 24 tuntia). Henkilökunta voi järjestää: concierge-palvelut ja valuutan vaihto. Hotellissa on muun muassa seuraavat lisäpalvelut: kielitaitoinen henkilökunta, pesulapalvelut ja kahvitarjoilu aulassa.

Thon Hotel Europan 168 ilmastoidussa huoneessa on minibaari ja ilmainen sanomalehti. 26-tuumainen LCD-televisio, joissa on kaapelikanavat ja maksulliset elokuvat, ovat saatavissa. Huoneissa on työpöydät ja suoravalintapuhelimet.Kylpyhuoneissa on suihku / amme-yhdistelmä ja hiustenkuivaaja.
Lisäpalveluihin kuuluvat kahvin-/teenkeitin ja avattavat ikkunat. Lisäksi pyynnöstä saatavissa oleviin palveluihin kuuluvat silitysrauta / -lauta, allergiatestatut vuoteet ja herätyssoitto. Tarjolla on siivouspalveluita: päivittäin. Kaikki hotellin Thon Hotel Europa vierashuoneet ovat savuttomia. Vierashuoneiden kunnostustyöt valmistuivat: toukokuu 2007.

käynnistä jäi positiivinen olo kokonaisuutena. Huone on vaatimaton, mutta yöpymiseen varsin hyvä. Ehdotuksena hotellille: kun ikkunamme oli sisäpihalle, pitäisi huoneessa olla valoverhot, mikä estäisi näkemisen sisälle, mutta antaisi huoneeseen valoa. Nyt oi vain pimennysverhot, joten pukeutuessa joutui pitämään verhot kiinni ja valot päällä myös päivällä.

Asuminen tässä hotellissa oli upea kokemus! Työntekijät olivat iloisia ja palvelu oli huippua. Mikään ei varmastikaan enään tunnu miltään tämän hotellikokemuksen jälkeen :) Ruoka oli avain huippua ja aamupala myöskin, suosittelen!

Hyvä sijainti lähes ydinkeskustassa, lähellä paljon ravintoloita. Hyvä perushostelli hyvää sijaintia arvostavalle. Öisin oli suht hiljaista ja rauhallista.

"Pidennetty viikonloppu Oslossa"
Hotelli oli siisti ja viihtyisä, vaikka kulumisen jäljet näkyivät osittain mm. käytävillä. Aamupala, palvelu ja sijainti olivat erittäin hyviä, suosittelen hotellia kaikille!

Hotellissa li joustava palvelu sekä saapuessa että lähtiessä, jolloin saimme matkatavarat säilytykseen. Aamiaspöytä oli erittäin onnistunut valikoimissaan ja viihtyisyydessään. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja ruoka kauniisti esillä. Oma teekannu olisi ollut mukava lisä, olisi voinut hauduttaa samalla 2-3 kupillista. Hotel was very clean, recently renovated and in a great location to all the sites. Most of all, we loved the breakfast - they had anything and everything you could want with a few great Norwegian dishes you could try. Definitely worth the stay just for the breakfast! We had a great stay. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. They had excellent English. Breakfast was delicious and the breakfast room was well set out. Location was quite central. Lots of English films on the tv so no need to purchase extra movies if you feel like having a night in. "The cheapest hotel (not hostel) in city center"
Slightly worn rooms with full carpet and separate beds. In an more expensive room wooden floor, slightly more room space, and double bed available. No amenities apart from hair dryer + soap/shampoo. Nice addition to low-cost hotel like this was the possiblity to have "room service" from local pizza chain.

"Europa, Oslo Norway"
The hotel was in a good location. Its easy to get around Oslo with public transportation. Hotel staff were helpful and spoke good english. Our room on the 9th floor was warm but we opened the window at night. Overall we had an excellent stay. The rooms are small by American standards.
Very enjoyable stay. Breakfast was a bit different to what we were used to but all in all a very enjoyable stay. Would have liked the option of a swimming pool. Very friendly staff

Look at a map and you might be misled into thinking that this hotel is too far from Oslo 'attractions'. This couldn't be further from the truth - it is a very short walk from National Theatre T-Bahn station with direct express access to the airport and only a few minutes from the Royal Palace, the City centre and the harbour. My husband and I found this hotel a great spot to stay in Oslo. It is good quality, the breakfast buffet is very very good and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is located just around the corner from the Radisson where the bus from the airport picks up and drops off from. It takes about 40 mins by bus to the airport. Originally we caught […] the Express train from the airport that takes 20 mins, but then had to get from the other end of town to the hotel. The bus is definitely the best option if staying at this hotel (and cheaper too). The hotel is about a 5 min leisurely walk to Karl Johans Gate and maybe another 5 mins to Aker Brygge. Enjoyed sunny w.end in this great city - Thon Europa is very convenient to trams, metro and harbour area. Good choice at breakfast and helpful staff. Oslo expensive but really worth a short break - dont expect to eat or drink too much!

Nice, better than basic, business-type hotel in lively neighborhood. Easy to walk to sights or to use public transportation on nearby tram, bus lines. Helpful staff. We were three older women traveling together thru Norway.

This hotel has a fantastic location - 10-minute walk to all the major sights in Oslo. The staff are friendly, and breakfast is delicious. This is very good value for money in the very centre of town. I took the cheapest room, and it turned out to be recently redecorated and had a balcony with a nice view from the 7th floor. Also there's free wifi and a varied breakfast buffet. Full marks.

The price was right. The hotel is clean and staff pleasant. We had a bit of a mix up with rooms but we changed it and it was fine. The single beds tend to be quite small. Our first three nights in Oslo were at the Thon Hotel Europa, close to the centre of Oslo, and included a Saturday night. Our room was at the back, it was beautifully quiet and there was no problem with getting an early breakfast when we had an early train to catch. We chose the hotel for convenience, comfort and cost. It's location directly adjacent to the tram line made it very convenient, but the advertising did not stress this aspect and we, unfortunately chose to take a cab from central station rather than go by tram. "Simple but effective"
This unremarkable travelodge style hotel is located by a tram line, so the 20 min walk from the train station can be avoided. The nearest metro station is a 5 min walk. Everything was OK, but not a hotel for a romantic break. This is a business type hotel with no frills.
