We really enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn - we had excellent, friendly service and the room was recently renovated and very nice. The only thing was that our coffee maker hadn't been cleaned - there was still coffee in it, and there was a child's hat on the floor of the closet, so the thoroughness of the cleaning was brought into question. - Staff efficient, though not overly friendly. - Could not get hot water from our bathroom sink, no matter how long I let it run; only slightly warm. - Hotel under some consruction. There was no notification of this before arrival, nor was there any offers of discount or other concession.

"A little extra goes a long way!"
Great hospitality. I was in a rush for breakfast, the restaurant server was very friendly and was able to help be decide on the buffet. Not only was the food and the fruit fresh on the buffet but the selection was great too. Once i was finished my meal, i was going to pay, the debit machine was not working very well(slow) instead of me continually trying […] to get the machine to accept my debit care the hostess ripped up my bill and sent me on my way! I was satisfied with everything but when I was going to bath the bath tub drain was clogged and I had to take out the gucky hair from the drain using my fingers. It should not have been in that condition. So was not at all impressed with the cleanliness of the room!

"Beautiful, clean rooms"
My hisband and I only stayed the one night but the beds were very comfortable, the front desk staff very friendly and helpful and everything was nice and clean. There isn't a whole lot of room in the King size bed rooms, but I would definitelt go back.

All was good except for having to pay for parking which is not something I do if I can avoid this extra charge. The only complaint I have is the ability to hear everything around you, the walls are very thin.

"Nice Hotel and Great Location"
I stayed here for 5 nights and enjoyed my stay. The hotel is not spectacular but it was very clean, comfortable and has a great location close to shops, restaurants and theatre. I ate at the restaurant a few times and is was fine. My room was very comfortable and larger than most hotel rooms I have stayed in. The wireless internet worked fine for me. Though I found the parking to be a bit on the pricey side, a visit to see friends staying at another downtown hotel showed me that ultimately it was worth it. "The Hilton Garden - Saskatoon - Very nice Hotel."
I found the Hotel clean and the atmosphere very comfortable. I found the quality of service great and the location of the Hotel was ideal.
Hotel is conveniently near the airport, but far from town. Nice and clean, however the pillows were way to big!! ..hurts the neck. The two restaurants connected to the hotel are adequate, a taxi ride into town would be needed for finer culinary experiences.

Great location in downtown S'toon, especially if shopping. Charged additional 12 dollars for parking. Restaurant had great service, though food selection, limited, but good. Would sty again.

"Close to TCU Place and shopping"
We liked the convenience of shopping and being near TCU Place for shows. The rooms are smaller but very clean except for the carpeting which was soiled. The service and friendliness of the staff was excellent.

A terrific stay, good room, a new fresh mattress which is nice to know, good pool and patio, good service including front desk, ask for map is recomend for the surronding restaurants and tghings to do, very hepful, it is a good location, near a shopping plaza, restaurants and the downtown core, I recommend a stay!

Being relatively familiar with Saskatoon I had no problems finding our hotel. The front desk staff were very friendly and check-in was a breeze. We were travelling with friends and had planned a golf weekend around our stay. The front staff managed to get us rooms across the hall from each other (thank you). Staff were excellent and accomodating. Free Valet was a bonus, Rooms were great. Breakfast was perfect. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We were very satisfied with the hotel and all its amenities, including the restaurant. The staff was most accomodating and friendly. The surrounding neighbourhood was not in the best condition due to the construction of various buildings in the immediate area. The hotel was well located close to the river walk and various entertainment venues.
"Comfortable stay but not a great value."
I found this hotel far too expensive for what it offers. Parking costs extra, breakfast costs extra. The room was clean and comfortable with the exception of the beds which I didn't really care for personally. The staff was friendly and courteous, but that's what I would expect for paying 50% more than what I've payed in similar venues.

Each time we stay at this hotel we enjoy it more and more. The locale is great, park the car and walk everywhere. The rooms are spacious, clean and very well maintained. The hot tub is too small.

We choose to stay at the Hilton because it is close to shopping and the Arts Center, which was very convienent for our visit to Saskatoon. Our stay at the Hilton was over the top. Thank You.
"Great room near downtown but exprensive"
The room was clean and comfortable but expensive I could stay in Calgary or Edmonton for cheaper but all other hotel downtown Saskatoon were more expensive. To me it way too much or we would have stayed another night. The pool was clean but cold i guess that's what you get at all hotel too much too heat but loved the hot tub. :) Loved that we could […] park in the mall underground with our pass that was great as we had to pay $12 parking additionally. "Old building"
We stayed two nights at the Hilton Garden Inn in Saskatoon. The building is quite old and a little rough looking for a Hilton hotel. They are usually very nice and kept up well, this one, not so much. We had a room right beside the elevators and could hear them running at all hours of the day and night. We also had a room that joined another room with […] doors in-between and we could hear literally everything being said and done next door. The bathroom tub was really old and busted up, just not up to the usual Hilton standards at all. The service was good, food was great at the lounge downstairs just the rooms were really lacking. "Great hotel, great room but...."
Great hotel, excellent room with microwave and fridge. Large and comfortable. Excellent location. However, front desk staff needs to be re- trained. I asked multiple times about were to park and what the procedure is for getting back to the hotel after parking since all parking is shared with the mall and concert venue next door. I had to call from […] the parking lot because the advice provided was inadequate. Secondly, I was told which lane to exit from, when leaving the parking but was not told that my ticket needed to be validated prior to doing so. However, when speaking to the front desk staff about this, nothing was done to rectify this and I still had to pay the nightly parking fee in addition to the single exit fee paid at the ticket booth. "Pleasant Stay"
The hotel met all of our expectations. The reception staff were helpful and efficient. The room was clean and the bedding was excellent. The location is very convenient to the Arts Centre performance venue and to the MidTown Centre mall. Parking is next door and you can park underground.

Very much enjoyed our stay here and wished we could have stayed longer. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. The hotel itself is very nice and tastefully decorated. The sunday brunch in the hotel restaurant is not for those trying to lose weight - unless you have a lot of willpower! The lounge is also very cozy and relaxing. Athough we only stayed one night I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff was informed, helpful and friendly. Our room it was the nicest smelling hotel rooms we had ever walked into, a refreshing start. The room was very comfortable and liked the comfort adjust beds. The Hotel is conveniently located to the Arts Centre and easy drive to the […] Credit Union Centre. Just about anythng you would like to do is in walking distance. The room smelled horrible. You get used to it when you're in the room for a while, but you shouldn't have too. Parking was less than ideal.
"Dirty and Noisy"
We were on the 10th floor of the hotel nearest to the end of the hall furthest from the elevator and three - four times each night a heater or something turned on and was exceptionally loud waking us up. When we called the front desk they were "unable to help us". Our bathtub had dirt in it both days after cleaning and the room was exceptionally dusty. […] My wife asked for a foam pillow as she can't use feather ones and was told "we don't carry those." We were very disappointed with this hotel and will not stay there in the future. Lisätietoja
"Great for Business or Pleasure"
It was a very short trip for business purposes only, but the Hilton Garden Downtown is one that I will use again. The location is extremely convenient and the rates offered help to make the costs "containable". The Hotel itself has a certain elegance to it. A complimentary shuttle service would be nice, however.

hotel is in great location for shopping, restaurants, park & to catch the bus. rooms are a bit older & could use some renovating. have stayed in standard rooms & the suites - the suite with jacuzzi tub is pretty sweet. hotel restaurant service is slow, but the staff is friendly.
"Some things need improving"
First off, expensive for the area. And having to pay for parking is just plain silly. I have paid in cities like DC, San Fran., and Paris. And this I understand. But SASK is a small to medium sized town. Second, breakfast buffet was horrid. Not the food...but the lack of food. Arrived at 9:30am on a Saturday morning and over 50% of the items were empty. […] Waited over 5 minutes for someone to show up at the omlet/waffle station. Got one cup of coffee from the server and then never saw him again until time to present the bill. And all we got were excuses about the lack of food...people calling in and such. Not acceptable at $12.95/person.
