Four Seasons Motor Lodge - Gatlinburg

Hotel is a little old but the location and price more than make up for the age. Plenty of dining and attractions are just a very short walk. The in-room fireplace and indoor heated pool were nice too.

Hotel is badly in need of upgrades. Cleanliness is also a problem

Was great. The only draw back was we where close to the end and when people smoked in the stairwell it came into the room. Of course this was a non-smoking room. The location was great able to walk to most locations.

Right in middle of gatlinburg. Not new but nice an clean, comfy rooms. Only there to sleep anyways, nice rooms for the money. Practically next to all the bars also.

Well, it's OLD. And its a motel, so there is no one on staff that can bring anything to your room if there is a problem and the building you stay in is way up the hill from the office. There was no toilet paper in our room. We decided to visit the pool on our trip down to get the toilet paper from the office but quickly realized there were no towels […] in our room either. Call me crazy, but toilet paper and towels seem pretty standard. The hallways and common areas looked like they hadn't been cleaned in months. There was actually debris scattered in the hallway. The indoor pool itself seemed well maintained but the pool area was littered with trash, including dirty bandaids where it hadn't been cleaned in awhile. We reserved the motel strictly based on its location so we wouldn't have to drive into Gatlinburg and find parking, but we still had to drive down from our building to a parking spot closer to the main road. All in all it was a huge waste of money and kind of a nightmare. My husband and I struggled the entire time not to let our girls see how horrified we were that we had booked this room. The room wasn't dirty but it was so old I'm not sure it could ever look really clean. We actually tried to cancel the room and move to a different hotel but, of course, we booked through hotels.com so the Four Seasons couldn't refund us. We were stuck there. Thank the good Lord it was only for one night. If we had booked for a week long vacation I would have been in tears for most of it. Lisätietoja

I LOVE the location of the hotel it is Right in the middle of everything on the strip! Everything is within walking distance so that was a plus!! The hotel does need a lot of remodeling it is very old-fashioned but in all it was a Nice stay!! :)

We stay here every time we come to Gatlinburg.. Great location. Right on the strip and close to everything..Staff is very friendly..Room is always clean..

reasonable price, very good location, older building in need of improvements, but fine for sleeping.It was fine for my family because when you are in Gatlinburg there is so much to do that sleeping is the only time you spend in the hotel room. we would stay there again.

My wife and I spent one night in this Hotel with our little Yorkie dog and the room was great. It was very clean and with a fireplace. The room was very large. The staff was very friendly..

overall for the money it was a good room and in a great location.

This motel was clean but rather dated. The elevator looked like it came out of the Twilight Zone, with pieces peeling off the walls. The room was clean and comfortable, though, and I loved having a fireplace. The room had a refrigerator, but no microwave. My room was at the very back of the property, & if you have problems walking, ask for a room closer […] to the main road. It was a long, lonely walk to the main road. We have stayed at this hotel atleast 4 other times. We have always stayed in the newer section. This time they put us in the section right next to the office. It was old and dirty looking. The carpet was torn and the bed was not comfortable at all. We will not stay here again!!!!!

Hotel is walking distance to EVERYTHING, there was a small mixup on the room we had booked and the room they put us in but it was quickly corrected with no problems. It is an older hotel, but was clean and suitable-we had a pet friendly room and it was a lot better than some places we have stayed in the past-on our next trip we will for sure stay here […] again! Reservations included pet friendly room with a fireplace. We called in route to confirm and they did not have room with fireplace reserved BUT provided a very unclean room in the "tower" with a fireplace. We had two small (15 & 12 LBS dogs). We left the do not distrub sign on door, did our own cleaning, and went sightseeing. Upon return a LARGE bag […] of garbage was DIRECTLY in front of the door. I took it and tossed it in the corner of the hall where it stayed all day and night and was still there when we checked out! The desk clerk was not friendly. I called to tell them we were leaving and the card key was on the table. She said they tried to get in touch with us and that I owed $20.00 for the dogs and acted like I tried to hide them. I asked her was putting garbage in front of the door her way instead of a note on the door what she called trying to get in touch with us. I paid the money but felt it was not necessary since I had prepaid. If our room was not a pet friendly room, I hate to see the pet room. The carpet was cut and patched in so many places with cigarette burns all over. Lighting was very low and the bedspread smelled of smoke. On the up side...the fireplace worked but the timer did not so I had to get out of bed after falling asleep to turn it off. Lisätietoja

The room was clean. The location was very convenient. Did not like the indoor pool. No security. Door opened to parking lot without a key. There was no restaurant on site as promised. I was told there would be a fireplace in the room. There was not. Overall, you get what you pay for. The room was worth the money.

Comfortable, clean, and a great location.

Yes, it is an older hotel. But, it was very clean and a very convenient location. We had a king bed with a fire place and a recliner. The room was huge! I did not expect a 5 star hotel. We will return!!!

On our Gatlinburg trip, we were traveling with our American Bulldog. Originally, he was at a kennel, but we decided halfway through the trip to pick him up so he could be with us. The location and price of this hotel was about the only good thing. We were in the building with the indoor pool. Which had no heat when you got out of the pool, no clean towels, and very little lighting. The sheets on out bed were not changed the two days we were there. Nor was the room or the entire hallway vacuumed. I'm not one to complain to the […] staff, I just won't stay there anymore. Hotel is within walking distance of downtown Gatlinburg. Our room was way in the back, but this was good for walking the dog. Not all rooms have fireplace and there is no hot tub. Reasonable price and pet friendly.

Very satisfied with 3 day stay in December 2011. Good price that did not change even on a Friday night. The hotel was only a one minute walk from the space needle and all the attractions at stoplight #8 on the parkway! Rooms were fairly spacious and seemed clean. Hotel was pet-friendly and had a heated indoor pool. All rooms in our building had a patio […] / balcony, which was an unexpected plus. The only minor problems is that there was no microwave, as listed on the room booking and the hotel restaurant/bar was closed at the time. Also, could not locate a washer/dryer room - did not ask, but pretty sure there was none on premise. Nevertheless, overall great price, location, amentities, and friendly service by front-desk staff. We were booked at the Four Seasons for 3 nights. However, after checking in, we weren't able to even stay one night. The first room we checked into was unacceptable. The couch in the room was filthy, the carpet was lifting up in many places, there was a hole in the ceiling in the bathroom, some of the light switches didn't work, the wood surfaces on […] the furniture were worn away and there were spots on the walls that had recently been patched but not yet painted over. We requested another room, and while the staff was friendly and accommodating, the second room was equally bad. There was water damage in the new room, a missing light fixture from the wall, a terrible mildew smell in the bathroom and a general lack of cleanliness in the room. Room was dirty, stains on floor, bedspread had spots and stains all over it. When my wife got back in the truck to leave there was an odor on her shoes!

The Four Season Motoe Lodge was in a good location to downtown walking. It was pet friendly & clean. But a lot of people stayed up late and made loud noises outside in the parking, next to our room.

We have stayed here several times in the past, before and since it was Four Seasons. The hotel is an older one and it could use some updating for sure, but for location and the fact that they are one of the very few pet-friendly hotels in town, and considering the reasonable rates, I think the hotel is very acceptable, especially if you don't spend […] a lot of time there. This is an old hotel that has some issues. Housekeeping is awful but has new management (I have been told). Carpet so dirty it caused my feet to turn black when I walked on it. Housekeeping did not sweep well and you could see dirt along the edges of the walls and under beds (as well as trash). It needs to have a 1-2 star rating not 3.9 (this rating […] led me to stay there). The management put me in another room (that my feet did not turn black when walking across carpet) which we appreciated. The coffee pot didnt work right. Had to go thew the heated pool area to get to the elevator. Put the dirty towel at the door never received any clean ones Was a good location need so work on the rooms and all over it would be a good place to stay if was clean up and so maintaince .

Very pleasant personal and very helpful . Would have rather had up front rooms instead of in the very back.. But nice!!!!

The room was great the service was good. Everybody was nice. It was right in the middle of everything. I would stay there again. It would have been nice if people could keep their dogs from barking and if the man blowing off the parking lot with a leaf blower could have waited a little later than 8am to get started.

Hotel is nothing fancy, kind of old, but clean, quiet and pet friendly. Our room was very large (the puppy enjoyed that) with a nice view of the Sky Lift.

Arrived late on Friday night for a 2 day weekend getaway. Let's see......The Bad: Changed rooms twice due to bugs in the rooms, 2 roaches in the first one and dead bugs around the fireplace in the second one.......all between 1-2am. Third room looked cleaner with newer red carpet. The toilets all had leaky valves causing the tanks to refill every 5 […] minutes or so. All 3 rooms had a musty smell to them, the last one was less due to the carpet I assume. The air felt damp in the whole building. I saw 2 maintenance guys walking around all day on Saturday but didn't appear to be doing much. I saw the maids carts in the hall during Saturday morning, but never saw a maid. Got my own towels and wash clothes for the evening use. The good: In the middle of town, easy access to everything. Front desk staff was very accommodating to our complaints. The beds slept great! Water pressure at the hotel was good as well. This is unusual for most hotels there. They just need to spend more money renovating the place. I won't be back..... Lisätietoja

Since we had our dog with us we were put in the doggie rooms so not sure how these rooms compared with the regular rooms. The remote did not work but they came right away and repaired it with batteries. The carpet was not clean with fuzz and strings scattered about. Either the vacuum was not working properly or the maid did not clean. The room smelled […] heavy of deoderizer which was too much. The room was in real need of remodeling. There were glass sliding patio doors that no longer worked and had been locked shut. The curtains and bedspreads were faded with a couple of holes in the curtains. This was the first time that we had stayed in Four Seasons Motel and we enjoyed it very much. We wanted a room where we could sit out and watch people walk down the streets of Gatlinburg. We had a nice front view patio where we could sit and enjoy the night doing nothing. Wish we needed.

Was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. We took our pets with us and was very impressed with the pet friendlyiness of it. We enjoyed sitting on the patio with our dogs and people watch. Very nice hotel for the price. thank you for a great stay!

In the center of Gatlinburg, easy access to shops, restaurants, activities. Definitely not a 5 star hotel or resort, older but clean, pet friendly (very important to me), friendly and helpful front desk. If looking for a place to stay that's convenient to everything and the national park, not planning to stay inside all the time, this is the place.

The room we were origanlly in was a little "creepy". Looks like it had not been updated in a while and had to enter a building to get to room and felt like we were the only ones staying there.
