Siisti ja viihtyisä hotelli. Mukava henkilökunta. Hinta kallis, mutta Sanibelilla hintataso on yleisesti korkea. Hotellilla ei ollut omaa ravintolaa, mutta alueen ravintola ok. Ranta upea. Delfiinit uivat 50m rannasta.

I would rate this mediocre. On the cleanliness of my room--there was a used tissue on the floor behind the nightstand next to the bed and when I walked around in bare feet, my feet got dirty. At the restaurant, they made us wait in line for breakfast seating even though there were lots of empty tables. The two waitresses had to do it all, seating, serving, […] clearing, setups. So service was very slow. I inadvertently left a nightie in my room when I checked out. I called later in the day, and again the next day, but they said they did not find it. The buttons on the TV clicker didn't respond. Had to keep pressing several times. Either bad battery or worn out. Just not a first-class place. Lisätietoja

We had a great vacation. Nice pool, just a few short steps to the beach. But the pool bar closes way to early. (6:00) It should stay open for at least sunset.

We loved our stay. Walking up to the beach was great! The staff was so friendly,Claudia even loaned us her own playing cards. The restaurant was supurb.

OVER PRICED AND OVER RATED. RUST HOLE IN THE SIDE OF THE TUB. THEY HAVE DUAL SINKS HOWEVER YOU CAN NOT USE ONE OF THE SINKS DUE TO POOR ROOM DESIGN. THE CLOTHES RACK KEEPS YOU FROM STANDUNG IN FRONT OF ONE SINK. THE FOOD IN THE IN THE DINNING ROOM AND THE BEACH BAR WAS VERY GOOD. THE SERVICE WAS GOOD. Paid FAR too much for sub par hotel. Smelly dank rooms, general litter, grubby beach.

Great place. I've stayed here several times and always a treat.

My room was dark and damp. Under the beds were not clean. My one window was not clear. The hotel had a nice approach while the veneers were well maintained. The yard and bar were pleasant except for a dirty pond without purpose not far from the pool. The staff were wonderful. The price seemed high. Sorry Holiday Inn, I will not return.

This hotel is simply alright, nothing special. We spent 8 nights travelling around Florida and never encountered another room that smell quite like this one did! It smelled very strongly of mildew, so strongly that it made sleeping a slight issue. It is located RIGHT on the beach which was nice, so they get a plus there. The front desk clerk, Peggy […] was so rude that it was off putting. A simple question about bike rental put her out! She was just out and out rude. All in all we rate this hotel a 3/5 and are not sure there are many others to choose from on Sanibel Island so, go for it if you need a place to stay. Lisätietoja

Our first trip to Sanibel and this hotel was great! Right on the beach, Tiki bar close at hand for afternoon drinks, very quiet and service from hotel staff very good. Only a couple minor drawbacks. Very satisfied with hotel. The bar at the pool closed a little early for my liking( @ 6 pm). The beach was good but there was one day that little insects were biting. I was told they were no see ums. Overall good experience. No elevators.

Hotel was nice right on the beach. Room was clean and food in hotel resturant was good. I thought the rate was a little pricey for the accomidations.

This Holiday INN @ Sanibel Island was the perfect getaway spot for our winter extended weekend trip. It sits right on the beach just over the causeway on the south side of Sanibel. The beach was very nice for relaxing, the shelling was fun on the island, and the property has a nice pool & tiki bar (try the Gilligan's Island - yum). We had just come from Disney's Holiday inn Lake Buena Vista. This was a really nice hotel with an incredibly nice, helpful staff. It was a bit of a shock to go from that hotel to this one in Sanibel. I'd describe the Sanibel Holiday Inn as mediocre,. The staff was very unfriendly except in the hotel restaurant, where we happened to get a nice waitress […] for breakfast. Still, you pay for the breakfast, unlike the Buena Vista Holiday Inn, which is not only free, but they will make your omlete to order right in front of you. The Sanibel hotel has a tree in the middle of it's restaurant - thought this was pretty neat, but the restaurant was as dark and dreary as can be. The room was really worn out, particularly the rug and the bathroom shower, which must really take a beating in this sandy area. Otherwise, the staff was really surly. One of the desk staff actually glared at my young son when we were checking in. No hot tub either. On the upside- the room was very quiet and the bed fairly comfortable, two really important features at any hotel. It is also in a central location, but off the more busy central road of the island, helping to keep it a quiet and peaceful hotel. Great location. Pool and beach were very good. There is a restaurant attached but we did not use. Room has refrigerator and microwave. My only concern about cleanliness was the carpet. It was old and stained. Overall I would stay here again because of the price value and location.

Nice size room, comfortable beds, good restaurant on premises, nice beach right behind the hotel/, GREAT friendly and helpful staff-probably the best staff I've experienced in years. Overall very pleasant experience. Room seemed a little hot, A/C loud and probably not working properly. I never reported it until we left. Overall, a good value and a good […] experience. My 16 year old connected to the internet easily and frequently with no problems. We were there to visit family and the island but could've just stayed right there and played- pool, ping pong table, shelling on the beach, bike riding. Very convenient to beach and the associated restaurant was very good. Staff very helpful, everything was clean. Guest laundry limited and no personal outdoor space for drying wet stuff but other than that everything was excellent and this hotel is recommended.

The hotel was nothing special and not close to any shops or restaurants except the one at the hotel. They roll up the sidewalks at dusk, everything closes even the pool. Hotel rented bikes but did not have any for children and were not interested in telling us where we could rent them. Right on the water. In house food was great. Pool is a bit small- but was deep. WE were assigned a handicapped room for the first night- it surely served the handicapped- but we did not enjoy it. There is a nice tiki bar adjacent to the pool which was handy. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The hotel is near the island's exit / entrance which is a plus because traffic is two lane and slow. Nice place for families to stay. Has a motel feel but still comfortable. Right on the beach and they provide lounge chairs (bring umbrella). Restaurant is OK, similar to a Denny's. All in all, a good value on a nice beach.

Great location, nice hotel, would stay there again.

This beautiful hotel was perfect for our needs. It was very peaceful, the staff was friendly and professional, and it is located right on the beach. The kids really loved searching for shells. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed for 3 days, 2 nights and had a great time. There is easy access to the beach, the most awesome shells, outside games, outdoor shower so you don't take the sand with you, and a shell washing sink so you don't clog your own with sand. Good pool, nice bar-closes too early. Great restaurant, no wait, really great food and the kids eat free for […] breakfast and dinner. I'm a clean freak and did very well here. The bed was great-they use sheets over everything so you don't ever have to worry about comforters. And pillows come in firm and soft. Great takeout nearby if you don't want to go out. Bring a bite stick like Afterbite because you may get a bite or two roaming the island (mosquito). You can save money buy bringing your own food and microwaving it. Fridge is big enough to hold kids' milks, water, and adult beverages. Plenty of room to empty suitcases so you can get to everything easy. Would definitely come back. Lisätietoja

The hotel is very conveniently located. the beach is very nice and the hotel provides the louning chairs, you do not have to carry your own. The personnel is professional, service oriened and very nice. My husband and I stayed with our grandchildren and they had a wonderful time. We would recommend it.

We stayed at Holiday Inn because of the convenience of access to the beach. Just a short stroll from our room. The hotel provided beach chairs for guests and we used them to soak up some sun. The shelling was great too. Nice relaxing vacation spot and we'll be back.

The Holiday Inn at Sanibel was just perfect...beautiful beach with lots of shelling, pool and tiki bar, and very clean room. This hotel was close to many shopping areas yet secluded enough to feel tropical.

Apparently they have enough business and aren't interested in providing the same level of service you find at most Holiday Inns

The location is super. You have a pool, tiki bar and a short walk to the beach. This is an older facility that is being kept very weel.

One item of note - this hotel is more of a motel, as it is set up where the rooms directly access the outdoors rather than an interior hallway. This should be made more apparent in the description.

This hotel costs a little more than we usually spend but as soon as we drove on the grounds we knew it was going to be worth it. I only wish we had known how nice it would be so we could have planned to stay longer. The grounds are lovely, the pool area is great and the private beach is a little piece of heaven. All of the staff, including the housekeepers […] & maintanence workers were friendly & helpful. The room was absolutely immaculate. We saw the housekeepers spending more time in each room than I have ever seen at any other hotel to keep them that way. The on-site restaurant was very good with a lot of variety on the menu. You could go expensive & fancy or just have a burger. We stuck to the specials which were delicious & very reasonably priced (about $12-$15). I hope I am able to go back there someday. Lisätietoja
