"Neat and comfortable"
Hotels.comin asiakkaan arvostelu loka 12, 2012Hotel was neat, location was very convenient after flight and staff was nice and friendly. I wish they would have gluten-free breakfast, so it would be perfect :-) But they did have bacon and eggs, even it seemed that bacon was always finished when we arrived and it was still almost an hour till breakfast time was closing. They should keep all breakfast foods available till breakfast closing time. Rooms were clean and all in all it was a good hotel. I will stay there again.

Arvostellut: Kari K, "Vantaa, Finland", joulu 7, 2011Ihan siisti hotelli. Aamiainen oli OK. Sänky oli hyvä. AInoa mitä puuttui oli golf channel telkkarista. Ravintoloita ja pubeja löyty läheltä, tosin liikenne siinä vieressä oli aika vilkasta. Kadun ylittäminen kesti, mutta maltilla onnistuu.

"This place is disgusting"
This hotel was completely disgusting. We paid over $200 a night to stay in an utter dump. There were blood stains on the sheets. The surfaces in the room were dirty. The parking garage malfunctioned and we were stuck in the garage. We received very little apology for this. There were never valets out to park our car. I was in town for my engagement […] party and had all of my future family members with me and I was extremely embarrassed that this was part of the impression they got of Austin. Overall the room itself was clean and functional, though a bit far away from places (better be prepared to take a taxi or your rental car). The quality of the hotel is not up to SPG standards. I left a shirt on a hanger in the closet when I checked out. My daugher goes to school at UT and went by the day after we checked out to pick it up. We have been told that the housekeeping supervisor on that floor was out and no one else dad a key. We were promised a call back after it was located and 48 hours still no call. They also stongly suggested […] that we e-mail them a desciption as they would respond faster. At the end of 3 days, no call, no return e-mail and no shirt, hence the overall rating of 1. The staff really went above and beyond. We booked a room with two beds but it was an extremely busy weekend in Austin and they did not have one. Instead they gave us one with a queen bed, comped our parking, gave us access to the lounge with free food and drinks on our floor, gave us breakfast vouchers and credit to use at the hotel bar, etc. Really […] nice people and very ready and willing to help out with everything we needed. The hotel itself was very nice as was the hotel staff. However, the service was disappointing and unsatisfactory. I reserved a room (well in advance - about 4 weeks) with double beds, and I also requested a refrigerator. Neither was available upon check in. Instead, I was given a room with a king bed and told there would be a roll out bed as well. When […] I get to my room, what do you know! No roll out bed or refrigerator! An hour or so after calling the front desk, the items were delivered. Also, after 1 am, there were police officers guarding the elevators and checking IDs to be sure only those with reserved rooms got access to areas other than the lobby! Really??! I would not recommend this hotel when there is a big event in Austin. Apparently, they can't handle keeping reservations when there is an overwhelming number of guests. "Excellent Guest Service"
The hotel's guest service is excellent, quick easy check in with reservation and answered any questions I had about Austin itself. They were prompt to bring me new sheets at our stay because my son (18 months) had gotten a tummy bug and had an accident in the bed. They also called to check on him and make sure he was OK! I didn't like the fact that […] the room had no ventilation, especially with my son being sick! The window didn't open and there was no fan in the bathroom. The parking garage was a pretty tight squeez in our standard size SUV, and parking was $16.00/day!! We were not charged to park and I am not sure why. Considering the location and the price that this hotel charges I expected more from this hotel. Overall the hotel is decent but several things I noticed are disappointing. I found it annoying that we had to ask for a refrigerator if we wanted it. By the time we realized this, it was too late. The hotel scent was a bit strange and strong. The TV was a bit small too.Aito Hotels.comin asiakkaan arvostelu

"perfect location"

"old an in need"
