They failed to mention that the parking lot 50 dollars and there's no alternative parking

Hotel was good, but our standard double bed was much too soft and caused us back aches. The mattress must have been too old and worn.

Unfriendly receprionist, no room services after 11pm, no bathrobes, empty minibar. They are definitely on a cost saving trip...

We had a great stay at the Hyatt. The staff was very nice and helpful, the rooms were absolutely wonderful and comfortable. The location of the hotel is very convenient which makes it easy to go anywhere in downtown SF. I would recommend this Hotel anytime!

Hotel amenities and location are great but the room was looking tired. The carpet had buckled in a few places and the bathroom and shower have seen better days. Im sure its a constant maintence cycle since the hotel has so many rooms.

From check-in to check-out, it was a wonderful experience. The work out room was well equipped (please allow guests to wipe down machines!), the staff was courteous (apologized for no vending machines), the cleaning staff said "hello" every time we saw them, the concierge got us reservations within 5 minutes for a wonderful restaurant, the lights in […] the lobby were magical, the matresses were dreamy and the TV above the sink was so cool! The location was perfect and we fell in love with Blue Bottle Coffee across the street at the Ferry Building. Also the conference facilities were exceptional. Thank you. Lisätietoja

Staying at the Hyatt was great..I have stayed there a number of times and convenient to everything especially the financial district. The only problem was that when I checked in the hotel did not have my reservation that I made on hotels.com so thankfully I had the confirmation number and it took the front desk over 10 minutes to find my reservation […] which was lost. We had a great stay however I paid extra to be in the Regency Club which includes apps and breakfast and a beautiful room. For the increased stay fare, I would assume it covered alachol but it didn't. Comeon Hyatt, don't be so cheap!

Very noisy ice rink!

We upgraded to the best level. The room was rather small. I was hoping for at least a nice soaking tub if not a jacuzzi, but no go. Also, the TV was freakin' ANALOG!!! What's up with that?!? The Regency Club, which came with the upgrade, was nice. The massage chairs were good. We didn't try too much of thr Club's food.

Checked in for one night at the Regency (for a company Christmas party). The Christmas decorations are the best in San Francisco, but that was the one plus. Paid for view of the bay, and I could see the bay if I looked out the window at an angle. There is no mini-bar - so needed after dealing with the S.F. traffic, in fact there was someone's old rotting […] Chinese food in the fridge, not a pleasant surprise. When asked the bellhop to remove, he said he was coming back, never did. Took two calls to have my luggage picked up. Can't stand to see food and dirty dishes in the hall ways. It seems everyone is trying to make the place a great stay, but the results feel like a old aging hotel that needs a solid makeover. Lisätietoja

The staff was very accommodating, polite a, and helpful. It was nice to book a room for one night during the holidays and not have a two night minimum requirement. Very encouraging for companies to book rooms for employees for Holiday parties.

This hotel is within walking distance to fantastic restaurants, ferry building, and shopping. I highly recommend to those who have a tourist or business agenda.

The location is great. The holiday lights are great. The carpets need to be replaced. The toilets are 30 years old and are wasting water with every flush.This hotel needs a serious facelift. Staff was nice. The bar in the lobby is really slow.

Close to the wharf and good restaurants

The Hyatt at the Embarcadero in SF was fabulous! The view from the club restaurant was unparalelled. I would highly recommend it. You can walk to everything from there and the service was great!

Hotel is beautiful, room was extremely snug, especially for how much I paid but worth it being that it was so close to at&t park. Had to go see my Dodgers won! :) would recommend.

I don't get excited about hotels, in fact I think this is maybe my second review of a hotel ever - the first one was not a good one (a hotel in NY). Anyway, I am seriously impressed with the Hyatt Regency Embarcadero for one simple reason - the staff. I mean, most times a hotel is a hotel - whatever right? Give me a bed, some quiet, and leave me alone. […] That's what I got at this hotel, but when I did interact with staff they were seriously nice - just really friendly and not in a bad way, or over the top kind of way. Front desk, restaurant, housekeeping, just very friendly, personable and made me feel like a valued guest. That's really appreciated ya know - it goes a long way. The staff at this hotel exceeded any experience I have seen. Their attention to detail and observation of customer needs was terrific. I took a cab in from the airport and didn't have enough cash on me when I got to the hotel, but instead of having me run in and get cash the doorman took care of the taxi and allowed me to get back to him after I checked […] in. This was a fine hotel. I was, though, disappointed in the bathroom; it was kinda small given the vastness of the hotel itself. Also, I was disappointed with the taste of the breakfast food. I'm not a hotel snob, so I cannot speak for those who would knit pick every part of the hotel. The exterior is nothing to look at, but the interior lobby/atrium is really cool looking. The bay view with balcony room that I had was really nice for hanging out and having some drinks with friends. It is right on the Embarcadero, which is right where you […] want to be if your doing a lot of the tourist stuff in SF. The ferry building has a ton of good food. Hotel was nice and staff great. Convenient location with trolleys right out front. Only negative was charge for every little thing....rollaways, internet...no free WiFi like all the other hotels. For the cost of the hotel those amenities should be included.

I stayed here after a giants game. Great location, ot off Muni at Embarcadero Station and the Hyatt was right there. The interior of the lobby was breathtaking. Only con was that there was a homeless person panhandling outside on the street by playing a musical instrument late at night. Other than the high parking fee, this is a very nice hotel in a good location. It's close to muni trans so quick & easy to the wharf & AT&T ballpark. Walking distance to some nice dining spots and our room had a good view of the bay bridge.

This hotel is perfectly located allowing easy access to the delights of Fishermans Wharf and Union Square and the Ferry Terminals. The streetcars and cable cars pass outside the door for ease of movement around the city.

Got a suite on the Regency level. Great pre-dinner noshes and decent breakfast in the morning - definately worth the upgrade. Room was good size for us (me, wife + 2 kids in cribs). Bed was uncomfortable for the 1 night we were there. But overall, service was very good from valet, bellman, and Regency Club staff. If it weren't for the amazing location and the fact that virtually every room has a beautiful view, I would be giving this hotel 3 stars. This is a perfect place for the tourist to drop their bags and go sightseeing or couples looking to spend a fun weekend in San Francisco. Overall, a good safe and clean hotel to be in. We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights during the memorial weekend... Very disappointed, I always expected more from Hyatt. I had choice of other 4 stars at lower price but chose Hyatt because of the name and my past experience... Big mistake... First, the condition of the hotel: out dated (left over from 80's), old and dirty carpets and bathrooms... […] Air condition with no temperature setting!... Yes, this is supposed to be a 4 Star Hyatt! Second... I made a reservation for two adults and an 8 years old... When we were checking, I asked for a roll-in bed for my daughter... They wanted to charge $25 Extra for it...This never happened to me before, so I refused because I had specifically reserved the room for 3 people... What do they expect? all 3 of us sleep in the same King bed? We went with the other option of two twin beds... My wife and I slept uncomfortably in a twin bed. Great location, accross from Ferry Building. Great bed, okay view, okay bathroom. A little pricey for size, quality and view, but location is selling point for this hotel.

we had been pleased with this hotel until this last time- the underside of the toilet seat was dirty which caused us to question the general cleanliness of the room.

I booked this hotel last minute, which may explain the high rate. But regardless, the cost I paid was much too high for quality. Basically The Hotel shouldn't be more than a certain amount, before you should just spend your money elsewhere or find a cheaper place to stay. Thre hotel was beautiful but pricey. The hotel staff was very nice. However.................... When we went to meet downstairs at the bar, there were no signs to direct what part is the bar or restaurant. So we went and sat where there were no guests since there were alot of us and the bar was right across from us. An employee by the name of Mohammed […] came and litterally spoke to us very loudy in a rude manner and said it was for restaurant guests only. Then we moved to a small table that had only 3 chairs, so my niece asked him if we could get more chairs brought since there were 7 of us. He told her to look around and get them herself. I FELT THAT THIS HOTEL WAS A VERY NICE HOTEL...HOWEVER BESIDES HAVING A SOMEWHAT DIRTY BATHROOM (NOT EXTREMELY BAD, BUT ENOUGH) I WENT THRU A HUGE ORDEAL WITH MY DEBIT CARD...I PRE PAID FOR MY ROOM 2 WEEEKS EARLY SO THAT WHEN I ARRIVED EVERYTHING WOULD BE TAKEN CARE OF..I CHECKED IN WAS TOLD EVERYTHING WAS FINE, RECIEVED A SUMMERY ON PAPER UNDER MY […] DOOR THE NEXT MORNING TELLING ME THAT I HAD "NO" CHARGES TO ROOM...THE NEXT DAY I NOTICED THAT A "HOLD" FOR $50 HAD BEEN APPLIED TO MY BANK ACCOUNT FROM THE HYATT AND BECAUSE OF NON NOTIFICATION, MY ACCOUNT HAD OVERDRAWN..HYATT TOOK NO INTEREST IN HELPING ME IN THE LEAST OR EVEN SAYING "SORRY"....
