Hyvällä paikalla, siisti hotelli. Aamiainen hieman kallis tarjontaan nähden. Aamiaisen voisi sisällyttää hotellin hintaan. Plussaa gluteeniton leipä.

We booked St. Regis because of the good reviews, amenities and location. Overall we were very pleased to all what hotel offered. Here are some pros and cons: Pros: - Superb location. Walking distance everywhere in downtown area, Chinatown(15min), Stanley park(20min), seafront(5min), Granville Island(30min), skytrain to YVR(10min with baggages, this option to YVR is very convenient and cheap. At weekends with fare saver tickets only 2,10) - Great staff, especially the younger man who has studied in Europe (can't remember the name). Very polite and eager to help. - Free WiFi is in my opinion a must nowadays. And in this hotel, it worked smoothly. - Free long distance calls. As we live in Europe this was an excellent bonus to us. - Room (King executive) was nice and kept clean. As we read before the trip, the room might be noisy, if it is located to street, but we found it none distracting. Though our room was in 3rd floor, but still, located to Dunsmuir street. It was somehow nice to be able to watch nightlife from window just before getting to asleep. - Bed was superb excellent! I tend to have bad back, but this bed didn't cause any harm to it, quite opposite. - Checkin and checkout were undetectable. Cons: - No handshower, only shower that was mounted to wall - Breakfast service at weekends. We had four weekend mornings and three of them were lousy. Especially one of them. We got service after 20min waiting, then we got some coffee and juice and made our order. When dishes arrived, they were totally mixed up, we didn't get what we ordered, not even the second try... BUT, place were very crowded, stuff busy and weekdays worked smoothly.

"Nice tower hotel"
I got a very large room with an impressive view (26th floor or so out of 42 total) with decent price. Internet was $8/day, which I don't like, but at least it worked. The first guy at the desk told me to buy a ticket for Internet each day (cumbersome), the second guy sold me one week straight.

I got a deluxe room on the 17th floor, with the English Bay view. The room is spacious with a sitting area and a mini refrigerator. The location is excellent on Robson Street, within walking distance to restaurants, shops, and Stanley Park. I enjoyed the beautiful view when I had breakfast buffet at the Cloud 9 Revolving Restaurant on the top floor. There were unknown noises during my stay at night. It was like some machines constantly making noises throughout the night. Maybe it was because my room was close to the service elevator.

A good hotel at a decent price. One shortcoming was the Internet service, which probably would have been fine if they had provided instructions upon my arrival. I would recommend this place as very good and very convenient. JS
"The Empire Landmark - Stuck in the 80's"
The front desk was not of any help. Extra room keys are $20/night. Free internet access was promised, never could connect, besides, the signal was very poor. The bathroom flooded from the room 2 floors above us during our stay. They gave us complimentary breakfast coupons that were of no use since the restaurant did not open until 6:30 am. We're there […] to go see the sights, not sleep in every day. This hotel is an older downtown Vancouver hotel, a high rise. The rooms are spacious and well kept. Parking is quite secure and the hotel is pet friendly.

Outstanding view of the Harbor and Mountains However: The chain connected to the flush handle in the toilet tank broke (from the rubber stopper inside the tank)the first time I flushed it. Rather than disturb the staff, I just lifted the top and lifted the black stopper inside the tank when I needed to flush the toilet (it left a black residue on my […] hand each time I did this - which tells me that stopper was very old). "Empire Landmark in Vancouver"
Located in the heart of Vancouver and the Aquarium in Stanley Park. Very safe neighborhood, and easy walking distance to tons of shopping. The view is magnificent! 180 degree view of the waterfront, Granville Island, and the mountains. "Empire did not impress"
I will say that the general manager deserves 10 stars but his staff deserves a negative 10. When we checked in they did not explain how to get to the parking so we drove aimlessly around the first garage we saw not able to find the level we were on. I went back inside and asked where our level was they then explained we had to drive down the alley to […] enter the garage but neglected to let us know that the room key opened the gate. After we finally got into the correct garage we went upstairs to find a filthy room, the toilet had hair in it and the room was dirty feeling overall. I didnt want to take my shoes off. I called down to speak to the hotel desk mgr to get the wireless code. A women named Sandy answered the phone I asked her if she could tell me how to get online she gave me a code without the user name. I told her it was not working. I asked her if she could repeat the code as I did not hear her correctly she muttered the numbers again. I asked her if she could say it slowly. She was clearly bothered by having to do this, I explained to her that there was not a pen or paper in the room so I was looking for something to write it down with at which point I was given a major attitude and she hung up on me. I called back she would not answer then I called hotels.com to cancel my reservation that I was not going to be treated so poorly. The general manager called and asked if he could upgrade our room, he came up and upgraded our room and made it so we could stay. If it had not been for him I would have cancelled and blasted this hotel but I feel that his actions deserve merit but that his staff needs a lesson on customer service. "Comfortable, in the heart of Downtown"
For what we wanted, lovely! A clean, comfortable place to stay, convenient to restaurants and some fun nightlife. It's not utter luxury, but it's a good hotel, comfortable bed, efficient desk staff. The only complaint we had was the batteries in the TV remote were dying, but we didn't care, as we were going out anyway.

We had a room on the 16th floor overlooking the the city, water, and mountains. It was wonderful to step onto the outdoor balcony and enjoy such a beautiful view! The Empire Landmark gave us the view the Vancouver Fairmont didn't, and for much less. We faced the mountains and Burrard Inlet from the 24th floor. Plus it's easy walking to all areas of central Vancouver. The only 'complaint' would be that the tv was miles from the bed, but hey, that speaks to a nice large room and it had balcony and a fridge. "Comfortable & Reasonable"
Have stayed at other hotels in the same area previously. This was the first time at the Empire Landmark. Recption and hotel staff were courteous and helpful. Only minor complaint on room comfort was the that the pillows were on the hard side. Hotel location was handy. For the time you spend in your hotel room, this was remarkable value. Staff were very courteous, room was quiet and clean and centraly located and best of all it had a panoramic wonderful view of Stanley park, Lions Gate bridge and the ocean. "Great Price"
Older hotel, but was clean and comfortable. It's convenient for shopping - but was a further walk from the convention center than google maps led me to believe. Room heated up really quickly - which was appreciated! And the front desk staff was very helpful in getting me a taxi.

Great service. great view .... but the hotel is poorly maintained. Balcony door did not close properly, the heater was either full on or full off. Bathroom was good. Room was in slightly deteriorated condition. However, the staff and management were really great! They did their best to make us feel welcome.
"wouldnt recommend"
the room was large and spacious, but drafty and noisy. although I was in a non-smoking room, smoke flowed un-impeded throughout the entire floor(5th floor). noise could be heard from hallway and other rooms plus the plumbing sounded like someone learning to play the bag pipes! the building is showing its age.

An ok hotel but reception not that helpful and friendly. Hotel restaurant has an unbeatable view (a must see!) but breakfast too pricy. Efficient but not charming.
Hotel was a bit pricey. Rooms are quite small. Could use a renovation soon
