My wife and I stayed at the Sheraton during our recent trip to Saskatoon to help my brother move into his new home. We are expecting our first baby in about a month so this was a little bit of a mini baby moon as well. We really enjoyed the hotel and all it had to offer. The only complaint I have was the small plates that we were supplied with for breakfast (eggs, bacon, sausage). I think they were too small, they could've been a little bigger. "Sheraton Cavalier in Saskatoon, Downtown"
Becasue I was attended an event in Saskatoon that went late, I didn't check in until about 1030pm. I had never stayed in your hotel before, and the desk clerk, although very polite, didn't give me the information I needed. I was told that underground parking was "around back, just put your roomkey into the kiosk and the door will open." I was NOT told […] that I had a parking pass in my package, that I needed to place the pass on the dash of my car, and that it might be towed if I didn't. I did not find the "parking pass" until the next morning as I was gathering my things. I also was not told that there was a substantial charge for the underground parking, and that it was NOT included in the price of my room. This Hotel had an excellent view of the river as well as the down town park, There was outdoor skating right outside the hotel. We had a beautiful morning walk each day along the river bank. The hotel was pet friendly. The support staff were excellent. "fantastic location and superb customer service"
This is a perfect hotel to stay at if going to Saskatoon. The customer service is phenomenal, the pool area is great, the gym provides everything you need and the location is perfect. The hotel can be a little challenging to figure out as it seems to be added on to and the carpet on some of the floors is a bit old which gives the guest room floors a […] bit of a run down feeling but the rooms are comfortable and clean and you will want for nothing when you stay here, I highly recommend this hotel!!! It was great. The only thing i didn't like was that the heater kept clinking all through the night. But other than that it was good. A great place to go if you have a pet with you!

We enjoy the hotel, the beds are great however, when we checked in we were given a parking pass. When we checked out there was an $11.50 charge on our account for "parking". When checking in and given a parking pass you would assume then that there would be no charge for that and if so you should be told that. The parking is terrible there, the lot […] full all the time. "Don't stay if you want to swim..."
I chose the Sheritan Cavelier and organized my schedule just so I could make sure to get in a good swim. Forget it. The pool was so jam packed full of kids and teens I could hardly see the water. Laps swimming was out of the question. In fact, any swimming was out of the question. The next morning, the latte kiosk didn't open until 7:30 AM. I had to […] leave at 7:20. If the dining room staff had offered to get me a take-out latte (they had regular take-out coffee available and the kiosk staff were there) instead of simply telling me I'd had to wait, I would have felt I'd got the service I'd expected from one of Saskatoon's better hotels. "Great location- excellent undercover parking"
Room was very modern, however not very spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful. best feature is the underground parking that arrives directly in the hotels. No walking outside in the cold/snow/rain to the hotel after parking was necessary.

The only thing that made me not so happy was the fact that the best room that could be provided for 4 people was a queen with a pull out sofa. It wasn't enough room for four people. "Great pool!"
Besides the fact that this is a very comfortable hotel with very friendly staff, they have a pool and water slides unlike any we have encountered in ANY other hotel in North AMerica. In the middle of a frigid weekend with temperatures down to -27 the pool was a wonderful oasis. WOW!

We stayed here for a wedding. I have never spent that kind of money on a hotel. Honestly I was expecting better as I have worked in the hotel industry. The elevators were extremly slow. The room we were in was quite small. You needed to use your room card in the elevator to get to your floor. I've stayed at or used the Cavalier facilities off and on since the early 1960s. Returning to Saskatoon gave an opportunity to re-visit. This centrally-located hotel treats its visitors well, has excellent setting and renovated quarters. Even noted we wanted no feather pillows. "Staff was lightweight"
Lots of young staffers; not really interested in the guests. The restaurant, "Windows" was very good. I loved the Eggs Benedict with Portobella mushrooms. Housekeeping was inconsistent - they sprayed the room with obnoxious and overpowering room freshener on my second-to-last day; when I enquired why, the housekeeping staff said that they only do that […] on check out... Only one soap in the bathroom. Not a problem until they decided to replace the soap with a new one, freshly wrapped. Then, on last day, got another one.
