"Very nice cabanas - notice the location"
Hotels.comin asiakkaan arvostelu tammi 11, 2011Green Tulum is a rather new hotel right at the southern end of the Tulum village. It consists of cabanas, pool area and a breakfast area in a well-kept jungle-like environment. Everything is very clean and the cabanas are nicely decorated with innovative use of conches as lamps and water taps. Also the common areas are very clean and nice. Service is excellent. The staff is friendly without being too formal. Everybody are really doing their best to make you feel welcome. The only minus COULD be the location and the surroundings. Green Tulum is not even near the beach, but instead at the southern border of the Village. However, they rent bicycles which can be used for riding to the center of the village, the beach or the ruins, which are a few kilometers away. The surroundings are a bit depressing with unfinished land and the main road which is quite close to the area. However, the traffic sounds were not disturbing. Overall, this is a good option for those who do not want to stay in more basic and sandy beach huts, but prefer a cleaner atmosphere and a pool with friendly service nearby the village.
