  The word 'great' is not enough to describe the incredible staff of Alma di Alghero. And I'm literally talking about every single employee there. They must have a great work environment there or something because every single employee was super friendly and positive during our whole stay in there. About the hotel generally: The rooms were clean and spacey enough. Also, there was a free wifi that actually worked in our room very nicely. The breakfast was quite nice too. So, considering the price of the room, we were more than happy about the quality. The only small downside was the soundproofing of the room. It was possible to hear some quiet sounds from other rooms every now and then. However this seems to be a generic problem in Italy and it really didn't matter so much because the Hotel was just long enough away from the road, thus the only sounds were coming from pipes and other rooms, not from the street. ps. I really recommend renting a scooter from a rental place near by. It was almost too much fun to drive around and find new beaches and stuff near Alghero.

  I stayed at San Marco for a week on June. The staff was nice and spoke english very well. The beach was great and price for the beds was reasonable. The room was quite small, but very clean. Breakfast and pool were ok. The hotel was full of swedish tourists.
