  Tholos resort offers great views with the majestic Skaros rock right in front of the hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Every room has a balcony facing the Caldera and in our opinion this is the best spot to gaze upon it and the sunset (far better than Oia!). Some hotels in Imerovigli are situated so that the narrow streets run in the middle of them and right in front of guests' balconies but this is not the case with Tholos. The hotel is very peaceful and quiet and still centrally located. Also the hotel's pool area was very peaceful although we were told that the hotel was fully booked. We ordered from the hotel kitchen a couple of times. The food was tasty but we found it a bit too salty. Breakfast was served on our private balcony every morning. It was very nice and more than we could ever eat. We had some great cocktails at the poolside bar, too. Some of the furnishings both in the room and at the pool could be redone because they're not exactly new anymore but the room itself was pleasant enough. Not necesserily "luxurious" but very tidy. Air conditioning, toilet, shower, fridge... everything worked without problems. By the way, if you are going to Imerovigli don't start complaining about steep steps at the hotel. The town is built on a hilltop and to reach places you WILL have to travel vertically. Also, know that access to some hotel rooms is via the balcony of another. This is normal in, I believe, every hotel in central Imerovigli.

  kylpyhuoneet voisi päivittää uudestaan ja parantaa niiden ilmanvaihtoa! Maisemat aivan upeat ja sijainti erinomainen! Käytämme varmasti seuraavalla matkallamme samaa hotellia! Aamiainen hintatasoon nähden aivan mahtava, ei ehkä kaikkien mieleen, mutta me pidimme. Henkilökunta todella mukava!

  The view from the hotel was fabulous! The hotel was located almost on the edge of the hill with stunning view. There was a road that led to Fira between the hotel and the cliff that had some traffic. That was the only minus for the hotel. The people that worked in the hotel were very nice especially an older man who propably was the owner of the hotel. He was very helpful and so nice that I have never seen a nicer hotel owner. Just perfect price and very good quality rooms and atmosphere. I recommend the hotel from the bottom of my heart!

  Tiedot hotellin sijsnnista suhteesa keskustaan olivat väärin. Sivujen tiedon mukaan hotelli on 100-200m pääsä esim historiallisesta museosta. Todellisuudessa melkein 1km.

  Hienolla paikalla, melkein saaren korkeimmalla kohdalla oleva hotelli. 19 huonetta, joista noin puolesta näkymä Calderan auringonlaskulle. <3 Auton on tosi kätevä tapa liikkua Santorinilla ja taksi on HALPA. Kannattaa ottaa pieni auto koska kadut ja tiet ahtaita. Ruoka Suomen hinnoissa, mutta taatusti paremman makuista ainakin parin Ouzon jälkeen. =)

  Too hard beds and pillows. Everything else was ok :) hotel area was beautiful and staff was very friendly and professional.

  Tilava huone ja parveke, ystävällinen palvelu ja viihtyisät allas-alueet olivat Aegean Plazan parasta antia toukokuun 2011 matkallamme. Hotelli on lapsiperheiden ja hääseurueiden suosiossa, joten jos etsit mahdollisimman rauhallista hotellia, Aegean Plaza ei ole ehkä paras valinta. Muuten suosittelen lämpimästi.

  Situation of this wonderful hotel is exelent, caldera is right below of your windows and best place to see famous sunsets,much better than forexample in Oia. Good restaurants (Ellis just next to hotel and "restaurant 1500" 150 meters and many others are nearby. You ive in heart of Fira and still in quiet place, no traffic noise o diskos, but everything in is very near. And also staff and service is worth of many thanks. Highly recomended!!!!
