Hotellit Japani

Cerulean Towerissa oli hiukan kuin Lost in Translation -elokuvassa: Näkymät ovat huikeat ja hotelli itsessään on massiivisuudessaan jo aika nähtävyys. Sijainti on superkätevä: liikenneyhteydet ovat huiput ja ihan läheltä löytyy Shibuyan syke mutta myös kiiinnostavia sivukujia. Ison hotellin varjopuolia ovat tietenkin tietty persoonattomuus, ja Cerulean Tower on hyvin länsimainen ja japanilaisille eksoottinen, joka näkyy ravintolapalveluiden ym. huikeissa hinnoissa. Mutta nämä ovat enemmän tiedostettavia asioita kuin varsinaisia haittoja.

Hyvät yhteydet junille ja lentokentille. Hotellissa kaikki tarpeellinen.

The service in Tokyo is clearly not so good than in southern parts of Japan. In principle everyhting is good but when asking some special not very big effort is made. But it seems that this is usual in Tokyo so according to that service was ok. The hotel itself with it´s spectacular views above the city is very nice and the location is perfect. Being in the hotel - which starts from the 20th floor - during some pre- and some aftershocks of the big earthquake 11th March 2011 was interesting. The building swayed and squeaked at nights but was still quite comfortable.

Great place with lots of restaurants and shops plus subway nearby. Hotel located in floors 21-30 giving fantastic views over Osaka. We stayed on 29th floor and just enjoyed the stay (first 2 nights then one day in Kyoto and another 3 nights). Special discount gave excellent value for money. Great shuttle bus connection to airport as a bonus.

hotel monterey la soeur had a great location in the osaka businesspark near one of the rivers that go trought the area. shopping mall and good food places all around, 5min walk to the nearest trainstation which made moving from point a to b very easy. (once you get familiar with the train system charts ofcourse;)) ½houre train/sub trip to the worlds tallest farriswheel and to the osaka aquarium (osaka aquapark). just 3 trainstops from downtown. 1houre train drive trough great wievs to old capital Nara. cant actually find anything bad to say abt this hotel and location. its a great bargain too!

Hotellin sijainti on loistava - rauhallisella sivukadulla, mutta muutaman minuutin kävelymatkan päässä metrolinjojen risteysasemasta. Aivan lähellä on ostoskatuja ja ravintoloita, mutta ei niin ikkunan alla, että se mitenkään häiritsisi asumista. Huoneet ovat pienet, mutta siistit, ja niissä on kaikki tarpeellinen jääkaapista televisioon ja kirjoituspöydästä kylpyammeeseen. Päivittäinen siivous toimii hyvin. Aamiaiseksi voi valita länsimaisen tai japanilaisen kattauksen, joista ainakin ensiksi mainittu täytti vatsan ihan kiitettävästi.

Hotelli on keskustassa ja kävelymatkan päässä ravintoloista. Metro on vieressä. Edulliset huoneet ovat pieniä, mutta erittäin toimivia ja mukavia nukkua. Palvelu hotellilla on huippuluokkaa. Respasta annetaan tarvittaessa kartta lähiravintoloista sekä yöelämästä.

Hotel is near Sakae metro station ja big departmenstores, a view over nice park. Breakfast included both western and japanease foods, many of them suitable for vegetarians. Only reason of dissapointment was the heat in the room, we couldn't make it colder.
